I just picked up one of these kits. I chose the bar top model. I opted for the Raspberry Pi 4 which comes with the "guts pack" if you add the digital marquee screen. I had mine assembled and running with zero programming in just a couple hours. You can also just order the empty cabinet and install your own electronics and design your own wrap. I went this route on a GRS pinball cabinet and used a 3 yr old gaming PC to run it. GRS offers a quick and easy way to build a home arcade for any talent level and they have sizes and shapes for any budget and space.
People should be aware that variable refresh rate monitors are a lot better for emulation and old games, I'd pick a G-sync over a big screen any day due to the lower latency and smoothness, plus newer monitors are much better at ultra low motion blur and can be enabled both at once now(gsync and ULMB), for a closer arcade experience as LCDs can't hold a candle to CRT in terms of low latency and motion blur, plus the benefits of flicker free variable refresh to match the game emulated.
I feel like having that little dookie air box in there isn’t doing this setup justice. You should have a medium powered desktop machine in there so it has the performance to do a lot better with PlayStation titles and newer.
If you don't plan on putting any more work into it than necessary then arcade guys. If you are fine putting in some elbow grease (technical and non technical) then GRS.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME! This massive expensive cabinet with all the bells and whistles and it cant even run old games with good frame rates??? What a joke....
My little chinese handheld plays games better than this. 🤣🤣🤣 You can get a refurbished office pc for nothing that will perform better than this. Don't do this beautiful arcade like this. Lol.

Yeah, for those who are exacting there is a lot more options this way.
you're missing the neo geo logo art for the left side of the cabinet. it's just blank all red.
Can you tell me if the coin/start buttons are the same size as the fighting buttons or are they slightly smaller?
Same size

How does this compare to the arcade guys build?
I'm planning a video on this since I have both. They both have their pros and cons for build quality.
@@LohTec I’m about to order one this week during Black Friday sale which would one you go with ?

Its the same if they're straight or gay.
Can you add/remove games as desired?
Yes

I installed a PC to play games instead :) But for older games it's nice to have quick option with the android console or a Pi4.
