- Lots of food for lots of family! I have soooo many goals for what I would like to do better. I'd like things to be more scratch made, I'd like us to all sit together at one time, I'd like to cook more and not need so much of Marc's help. Buuut.... all in good time. My granny always says "It didn't come to stay it came to pass". haha so yes I know things will get a bit less busy and one day we can serve soup beautifully Martha Stewart style from a lovely dish in the middle of the table, served with homemade sourdough bread (still working on that sourdough starter! We've failed a lot but not giving up! I've discovered a sourdough starter is like having a pet😅). One day though! But for now everyone is fed, and goes to bed with a full belly (after the trader joe's snacks a little bit too full of a belly haha.) Hope you all are having a lovely week! As always another fun video. Since summer is upon us I thought Naomi might like to try these. Always a big hit.
Cheerio Bars
1 C sugar
1 C honey
1 C peanut butter
5 or 6 cups Cheerios
Peanuts optional.
We choose not.
Bring sugar and honey to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter till melted. Add Cheerios and peanuts; place in a greased 9×23 pan.
Our children used to donate their 1lb. Chocolate Easter Bunnies and I would freeze them to be used to melt and frost bars.

Soups are a big staple in my family, as well. Delicious, filling, easy and nutritious. My husband isn’t always a fan. He used to think soup was only for when someone was sick.

Girl, soy candles are the safest to use. I like white linen. I love coffee, candles, and cinnamon candles it is just so absolutely amazing how your kids are willing to share their food especially sweet you just don’t see that in normal families today. That is so beautiful and she’s so cute cause she’s getting chunkier now and I see her pretty outfit on her.
Soy candles or beeswax candles don’t put toxins in the air like most candles do-
Definitely worth the money for a better candle.
And look for candles scented with essential oils, not "fragrances", which are damaging to health

Tell Naomi the best way to smell the candles is actually sniffing the lid. You can really get the scent that way and it keeps from constantly picking up the jars. Also, the plug ins you can get most of the candle scents for the plug ins. Just another fun way to get the scent throughout your room.

Hi Guys, all the dinners look yummy. I do a lentil soup with beef broth, diced ham, and onion,celery,
carrots & garlic. What makes it great is a little bit of cloves for seasoning. On your salad you could add a can of white or kidney beans to bump up your protein.

Neta; your new summer outfits are adorable!!! Naomi’s reaction to the coffee scented candle was awesome! I definitely want to try the Romanian Chicken Soup this month. I spent lunchtime with my daughter and two grandkids,( 12 and 16) eating a picnic 🧺 in the mountains about 30 minutes from our little country town. The river was flowing very fast with white water rapids due to the snowmelt,( didn’t go near it, way too dangerous!) For dinner she grilled chicken breast and we had leftover Mexican rice, Southwestern salad and black beans and S’mores;( my contribution) for dessert! Yummy!!!😋 Happy 6 month birthday celebration Neta;( you’re halfway to your very own party!🎈 🎉 🎂

Such fun! Naomi, the candles at Trader Joes are very nice. I bought chocolate croissant candles for my sons at Christmas. The house smelled like a bakery :)
What about chicken bones in soup with kids?
We cut the chicken off of the bone for the little ones.❤️
There could be loose bones in the soup and they can get stuck in their mouths. If you use thighs there are no little bones. Thighs are very flavorful

Mum U have know idea making tuna bake 2 small tins rediculous should of been about 6 or more big time and U need to cook pasta then put mixure in a pot mix then put in pan too cook with the white cheese over the pan covered with alfio then take then cook for another 10 with cheese on it to browne....😮😮😮
