It's a funny turn around from very early in the series where Kramer says he only bathes.
They must have lowered the water temperature so his baths are no longer super heated water
Dang, you’re right! But if you want continuity errors, check out Friends. The show’s loaded with ‘em. I almost want to start a blog about it
They never worried about continuity.
That quirky smile on Jerry's face while saying "Not from the footage I've seen" 😂 he's hardly keeping it in 😅
Dumb question ,but please can you explain the joke? Thank you
@@deepthijohn6233 It's a racist joke claiming Serbians are dirty.
hey you need some extra plumbing done?
@@deepthijohn6233 1 year after you asked, so you might not even remember this. I'll answer it anyway.
The former nation of Yugoslavia was in a state of war in the 90's, when this episode was shot. It was frequently on the news and showed its citizens in a wartorn country. As you can imagine, they were in quite poor shape. This explains Jerry's comment of 'Not from the footage I've seen.' He's referring to their country being at war and their civilians being left in really bad shape. He's basically poking fun at the fact that their country was, at the time, well known for wars, conflicts and crises, which is footage that would have been all over the news. Caring about showerheads would have been really low on their list of priorities, contradicting Newman's statements.
Kramer would later go on to install a garbage disposal in his shower and make salad in it.
the way Jerry says "Poppy Seeds" Im dyin xD
Julia Louis Dreyfus’ hair is goals
I love Elaine's hair in here
“Jerry that was super heated water nothing could live in that..” hahaha
"not from the footage I've Seen.....never the less" STILL hilarious all these years later! Poppy Seeds and Poppy is Sloppy.....Oh The Writing!
"Nothing could live in that" aha
You'd have to eat a LOT of poppy seeds to test positive for opium.
Look sister grab yourself a cup of coffee....classic
did Numen just called Elaine 'sister'??
Absolute class. Great upload, thanks
seinfeld was the Best !!!!!!!!!!
are you in?
I'm down!
Jerry?
Yessss!
0:31 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😅😅😅
He took a bath
The shower head
Kramer once said he takes baths....
Nordi Mejia and then he fell in love with showers. Kramer has very volatile interests
Newman also at some point was madly in love with Elaine. No sign of that character arch continuity here either. Seinfeld writing just sorta fell apart in later seasons.
No Larry Charles, no Larry David. Somewhere in the middle of season seven, crappy ideas started to rise to the surface more often.
Who's here cuz of Twitter 😂
There's other Seinfeld clips where Jerry's hair looks like this but the explanation is absent. Only real Seinfeld fans notice this.
Elaine is crazy hot looking like a biker in that leather jacket! 🤣
😊
Did they just cut some parts of the scene?
It's TBS, they air commercials, at the consequence of not airing the entire original broadcast.
What's Kramer's first name?
Cosmo!
@@danc5644 , thank you. So it's Jerry, Elaine, George, and Cosmo (Kramer).
Dr. Van Nostrand
@@edgarenriqueespana8013 that's Martin to you
... what's wrong with their hair?
Shower heads with small pressure
@@nadavabudi I dont get it...
@@kursadsari026nl6 ua-cam.com/video/PjbXOSnyMeA/v-deo.html
@@nadavabudi haha thanks!
The low pressure shower heads weren’t washing out all of their shampoo
can anyone explain that balkan joke
Stereotype of former Communist countries in general, especially during '90s. Of course, any look at Serbian women today will dispel that myth.
@@VinnieBoombatz374 Specifically the line refers to footage from the Bosnian war which was coming to an end when this was filmed and was always in the news, it's not some general stereotype.
@@Roger__Wilco Maybe, but I grew up in the '80s, and stereotypes about people from Communist countries being "fashion challenged" were rife back then. Part of a Reaganesque era Cold War tactic I suppose. Don't know how true any of it was.
@@VinnieBoombatz374 So did I, at this time in the mid 90s this particular one was a pretty topical joke about footage that was on the news every night though. This wasn't the cold war lol, it's well into the the post communist era and it would be a bit weird to pick out the Serbs of all the options if they were just trying to make an out of date daggy commie joke!
Thats why you shower before you take a bath.
Certainly relaxing, but feels like an excess waste of water.
seinfeld is my favorite and unique comic sitcom, but ..,, former yugoslavia, and people of serbia in this joke ,is not a good joke...my serbian people and other ex yu republics gone through the terrible period of war , politic, mental, moral chaos, and all because ideas of crazy politicians from both sides, etc....too much sad,too much stupid, too much complicated, too much tragically, badly and meanly calculated situations ...this was not a good idea to be the part of seinfeld humor...
Not from the footage I've seen 😂
the bit NEVER referred to the at-time situation in the Balkans, no need to take it out of context
@@edgarenriqueespana8013 scept it did, literally war footage being shown.
comedy is good, but only when make laugh at other people
I agree, it was in bad taste, but how many people in the former Yugoslavia were watching at the time? Probably not too many, hence the boldness of the joke.
