"whats wrong with your leg?" lmaoooo
And that line is so reresentative of Seinfeld. In any other show, Friends for example, the joke would be that his leg really did hurt and the other characters mistakenly thought he was proposing. Seinfeld flips that on its head. This show is so cynical that the first thing on George's mind wasn't that Jerry was proposing (despite the classic proposing pose) but that there's something wrong with his leg.
@@lokibek thus, the show being a comedy masterpiece and not just easy jokes. LQL!
@@lokibek Another example that I've just noticed is that at the end of episode "The Switch", they catch Newman and Babs-Kramer's mom- in the act and Newman was very afraid of Kramer until he heard his name "Cosmo" for the very first time. His all fear just dissappeared and all of his attention were to the name Cosmo.

That's the irony, they're the only two people messed up enough to be able to handle each other.
Na. They'd be hellish, as the show provides enough evidence for.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus is gorgeous.
She is still absolutely bangable!
Stunningly hot!!
For some reason, beauty aside, I find her quite amusing.
Not sure why.
A mystery, I guess.
The Charlie Ramirez
she's sexy woman
She really is... breath taking
I love when she says "ba-na-naaaaaaahhh"
I've always felt Julie Louis-Dreyfus's work in Seinfeld showed her to be in the very top tier of female comedic actors of all time, along with Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, and anyone else you can think of. She just totally committed to the outrageous extremes that her character would go to for what the situation asked for using the full possibilities of her vocal, facial, and gestural expression. But, unlike other super-talented sketch comedians, her performance was believable and grounded in reality. Hers was a hilarious performance in full concert with the other characters and performers of this show.
Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett were followed by Julia Louis-Drefus and Debra Messing in next generation. Debra was the perfect foil for the males stars in Will and Grace and in (the sadly short lived, two season only) Ned and Stacey.
I don't disagree with the caliber of Julie Louis-Dreyfus's comedic chops, but unlike Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett, she never got to be the center of her own show. I'm not sure why that is, just pointing it out.
@@olandir Lucy and her husband produced their own shows, even owned a studio? Carol likewise was a producer.
Up there with Lucille Ball? Come on now.

I always rooted for them, ever since my mother introduced me to the show. It's kinda sad, i always felt like they still had feelings for eachoter.
I disagree. I like that there was finally one show that didn't have the "will they won't they?" couple, and then have them end up together. I personally never saw any romantic feelings between them.

Jason Alexander was brilliant in this scene....

George had the sense to leave. A rare moment.

@@nisathsalsabilrob1680 He was in an emotionally vulnerable place. Usually when Jerry and a girl break up, it means nothing to him and he moves on. The most recent relationship he had actually affected him when he and the girl broke up. I think he said something along the lines of, “I actually care.” The whole episode he was this emotionally needy, overbearing person so in this state, he proposed to Elaine.

Seinfeld is like pizza, even if it's bad, it's still good. The Show was by far the most satisfying binge watch i did. The later seasons got a bit weaker, maybe too absurd and a bit less funny, but they where still fantastic compared to all else. Just so much quality in each show, so many details to discover. Even the ending was totally fitting and satisfying.
Jerry was right when he answered the question to what he says to critics of the final episode "What do they know" (along these lines). I really liked it, because that's art. Do what you think is great, don't try to pander everybody.
