Do you have a current passport means uk passport or anyother passport. Because I have chosen 'Yes' option for my Indian passport and mentioned my passport number it shows ' Your passport number is too short, your passport number is not valid .

2 weeks for the basic check. Some companies will pay for prospective employees to have it, others will charge £60.

Hi I am living in UK less than 5 years but in dbs form they required minimum 5 years address history. I dont know what I do and I cant skip this step. Also in verification documents also I have problem because I am in spouse visa and have only permit resident ID card. If I chose only this ID card it doesnt skip. Please if you can help me ? 🙏

Hi Radhika. This means a contract for a mobile phone normally advertised by networks for 18 or 24 months and tied to a handset and sim deal. Doesn't apply to Pay As You Go. Hope that helps 👍

I have applied for Basic DBS check by myself I have Brp,pk passport and provisional license along with me.After applying they send me kind of letter on my 📧 on that letter they have written about passport and brp but they don't have written about provisional license. Could you please tell me can I apply for bds with provisional licence if yes then why they haven't written same as brp and passport?????

Hi. If your company is applying on your behalf. It's best to confirm with them which address they have chosen for the certificate to be sent.

Hi Sakshi. Thanks for your question. As per DBS' requirements, it is mandatory to provide a first and last name when submitting an application. Should an applicant not have a surname, they must duplicate their first name into both fields in order to submit the application successfully.
