I have just a few questions. I got my enhanced DBS certificate recently. It's actually for a part-time role as a healthcare Assistant.
Will the enhanced DBS certificate be only useful for health care work or can i later use it to apply for other job vacancies outside care work
I am not sure, but I believe so. If you apply for other vacancies and they ask, I’ll suggest you present it first 👍🏾

You should receive a mail with the details
What happens and to be done if the DBS is already over 30 days and the update service is not done, how do one go about doing it sis
You won’t be able to use that particular dbs for the update service again. You’ll have to request for another one, then register it on the update service asap (if necessary)

2. No you can’t. You must register within 30days of application date

You should speak with your employer. Perhaps they can give you a link to track when it’ll be delivered. If not, you’ll just have to wait

Can I do the basic DBS by myself?
If you’ll do it yourself it’s the basic you’ll do. If your employer needs an enhanced dbs, they need to apply for you or you search online for agencies that do it.

No, you can’t print it out. Just give your proposed employer your reference number and they’ll be able to check and verify from their end

You entered a wrong info. Check and enter the right info
How they check the criminal record if outside the UK because they r not asking upload any police clearance certificate I have and if during the submitting of application there is error in address which we put on will they reject it and ask for resend I submitted myself but I'm not sure did I submit it right or not
You need to be in the uk to request DBS. If your submitted info is not correct, I think you’ll have to contact them to make a report

No. You have to change it by yourself online

That tracker for your DBS application seems to just be some psychological gimmick that's little help at all 1,2,3 no time at all then 4 and 5 obviously arrive almost at once like buses but WHEN is anyone's guess, might as well just wait for the email it's all done.

Go through the website in the description. Make sure you speak with your employer first tho, cos most of the time they are the ones who request it
