Hey Philips, my 55PUS8118 model for some reason stutters on youtube. It’s silky smooth on netflix, but not on youtube, especially with 4k videos. Clearly it’s from the app. Is it a known issue? Any updates soon to fix this?

I need some help. I am looking at a 50” ambilight TV, primarily for gaming and movies. I have realised the one I am looking at is a LCD one, and I found an LED ambilight also. I am confused because the LED, which I thought was supposed to be better, is actually cheaper than the LCD. They are both 2023 models. Can someone please explain to me which is actually better?
The LED one doesn’t even have very good reviews but the LCD one does

Is there a way to get this tv delivered to the US?
If you're willing to pay high shipping costs they can be imported. It will need to be run with a 120V-220V transformer, like a Umi from Amazon unless Philips makes them 100V-240V universal input voltage. I imported my Panasonics and they are 220V fixed.
Philips, i m looking to buy Philips OLED 65OLED718/12 to watch movies and play ps5 and xbox. Is that a flickering free TV? I can't find this info anywhere. Thanks

In this model, PWM is being used(frequency = 20kHz)
Hence, it is impossible to see any flickering even on low-duty cycles

Sadly new ambilight software has a bug which makes the light flicker. Also with paused images, it is really annoying

I bought a 65 inch ambilight oled phillips TV.. love it BUT may not buy another due to its slow system....l only use for apps streaming like Netflix....Netflix for example keeps freezing and buffering forcing u to use a fitestick that works fine. Samecwith prime. Only youtube works fine and foment keep getting yjis buffering bug. It's soooo annoying.

Philips i have a problem , a big problem. My dauchter can't watch his favorite cartoon. We have a philips Tv 58PUS8546/12 model . This TV has one year and tonight my screen is blocked with streaks and in the background I hear the sound and the image moves. Unfortunately the streaks prevent me from seeing the cartoon. None of the models in the 2k23 & 2k24 collection are compatible with the Ambilight+HUE system.
A SyncBox will be required to synchronise the HUE bulbs.
Models 2022 and older still have this feature and will receive support for it.

and my new expensive 65OLED809 doesn't work with Hue bridge anymore

This TV is just awful. Freezes. Glitches. Buffering. Has ruined many a TV show for me. I dream of taking it to the dump. Sadly it was expensive so stuck with it for now. I really despise it.
