Ever since they release LOVESONG and Loser Lover, I always want them to have even heavier rock/metal, and that time I also found TXT 'Frost' metal version by channel Hollow Emptiness, and that makes me think they really really should try that heavier metal, and I'm so happy when Growing Pain came out haha, it really fulfill my wish for what I want to hear from them 😂
@@Killdeer25 yeah, actually even before this, when they still promoting the FREEZE album, it was being said that they will performed in Lollapalooza festival with Live Band, I was putting my hopes so high to get something like what I hear in that 'Frost' metal version by channel Hollow Emptiness, but then the actual Band performance really dissappointed me 😅, it's so off, nowhere near the quality of the band instrument by a musician on f youtube 😭. But really, long time after Freeze era, this most recents era really satisfied me haha, I really get what I expected them to do with metal on this song, Growing Pain 😁. I also likes Devil By The Window and Chasing That Feeling

Absolutley this. As a huge A Percfect Circle fan and of that whole genre this is the first thing I thought. It is one of my latest favorites of theirs.
I was reminded of Breaking Benjamin the moment I heard this too. I've watched other reactions and you're the only other person I've come across that has said the same. I love love love this song. It is the first off the album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL (b-side song). The genre and lyrics represent their pain as they fall from the false paradise into reality.

lol is this even the same group as the debut?! I can’t even compare because it’s apples and oranges. I liked the debut song despite thinking it was a bit weak as a debut and I really like this but I feel like I’m listening to a group with an identity crisis. I know there are probably whole albums in between this and the debut so it’ll be fun to see how they made the journey from there to here. If you have time after you get through the setlist, I recommend their performance at the 2023 MAMA awards with Yoshinki, a legendary Japanese artist. It’s a phenomenal performance. The song is called Endless Rain. Also getting really excited for your Jungkook cover since you’ve started teasing vocals!
Oh, yeah. The progression of TXT’s music was as gradual as their concept’s progression. Everything started bright and slowly devolved into darker and darker tones. That being said, even their bright songs had a lyrical layer of sadness.

Something you may not know is Tomorrow X Together is currently celebrating their 5th year anniversary with an event called 'Dream Week' when they celebrate with MOA where they release special content like videos, photos or songs in the lead up to their debut date which is 4 March (2019) where they will hold a fanmeeting concert. So your OWC is kind of perfect timing. Also its reported that they are having a comeback in April! 😁
