I feel like the similarities you might catch between them and BTS may just be due to them being trained by similar staff. yeah, this is some similarities for sure, I have only been in OWC for a couple days and there are some I can see but I feel like that for real that they really are their own group, I feel also kinda happy that MOA can also have their own identity, I think that is something that could have been very easily swept up and made a problem

Yes, of course, as you said, this is very different to BTS's debut, they are very different songs and song lyrics. BTS's No More Dream was a lot more in your face as it was a song commenting on young people's dreams, society's expectations, and the education system. Im not sure if you got this feeling from it but despite how light and upbeat CROWN sounds it is actually a sad song, sad but also somehow comforting and hopeful at the same time, it's bitter-sweet. The Korean title for the song is 'One Day Horns Grew Out of My Head'. In brief it's about insecurities, loneliness and self confidence and the idea of meeting another person (could be a friend or maybe yourself if you want to interpret it that way) who feels the same way as you, who you can relate to and together you don't feel so alone anymore. TXT or Tomorrow By Together is actually the only K-pop group directly under Big Hit aside from BTS. All the other Hybe groups are under different sister-labels and are more traditionally "K-pop". Being directly under Big Hit itself means that they have a lot more creative freedom but at the same time they're also expected to participate more creatively speaking. I have to admit that when they debuted they had a sound I wasn't particularly fond of; way too electronic and autotuned for my taste. But the talent was undeniably there and I kept an eye on them, mostly because they're BTS's "little brothers" tbh. I think they've grown tremendously and they seem to have found their own sound now that's (TG 😅) a lot less electronic. I absolutely love their newer stuff starting from 0X1=Lovesong and forward. I feel that it has a more authentic sound to it and it has a lot more of a rock vibe than this one. Their collaboration with Jonas Brothers is really sweet and fun and definitely worth a listen (warning - it got stuck in my head for days 😆). Like BTS they also have a storyline and I've heard that apparently Bang PD has planned it so the storylines are somehow connected and will intertwine at some point? 🤔 We'll see... 🤷 So anyway, I'm excited to follow along on your TXT journey and learn some more about them myself. And btw, if you have the time check out a video of the interactions between the Big Hit groups BTS and TXT and their "older brother" soloist Lee Hyun. They're so freakin adorable together. 😄 💜
yeah, the autotune was a little too much, I think that youre right, its absolutely right though, I am not always the biggest fan of EDM but I do think it did have some positive tones here for the song! yes! this journey is an exciting one, I have wanted to get into TXT so much! I was introduced to them before BTS, crazy huh?
Even though I don't like standing the entire concert, I prefer smaller venues. Groups from bigger companies are always in big stadiums. While assigned seating is nice since you don't have to worry about standing in line half the day you don't really get to sit down. The people in front of you are always standing which makes it so you have to stand up as well and they are so far away you have to rely on big screens. I've been to 5 concerts: 4 kpop and 1 jpop. Just counting the kpop ones TXT was the biggest one and Mark Tuan from GOT7 was the smallest. The overall concert going experience was better with Mark's smaller venue where I was fairly close and could actually see his face.

I do like it, that interesting autotuned harmony you pointed out is cool and clearly used for effect not because they need it and it’s a really effective use in my opinion. Without it the song would be bland. To me this sounds like a nice b-side that I wouldn’t skip if I was listening to it. But if this was my first introduction to this group, I’d probably have passed if I’m being honest. Especially in contrast to BTS debut which, like you said kinda grabs you by the jugular. They don’t have to have the same style as BTS at all, they shouldn’t anyway, but a debut song should still grab you and make you excited to see more. This didn’t do that for me but thankfully I have already seen more of their songs that I did really like.
It's my new way to deal with blocks, I had it blocked but if I do this it works and I don't have to blur or do anything like that. Yeaah, the song was definitely weaker than some others for sure, very polished though
