Recently got really lucky finding a 6x18 lily pad at Costco for 299. Picked up two of them.
I have most of the items shown on this episode and they are all pretty great BUT if you are a Sandbar Junky like me that anchor WILL NOT set in sand. It will pull loose every time and if it’s a crowded sandbar you are going to bump into other boats before you can get that anchor set.
I went with (2) 10ft Minn Kota Talon shallow water anchors and they are fantastic. You can drive a jam packed sandbar on a super windy day and squeeze in between two fancy yachts and hit the button dropping your Talons. Your boat is immediately stuck into position. Very expensive tho. I have one Talon on rear and one on the front and I love these things! They will dramatically increase the value of your boat!

Lilypads are a thing of the past! get an inflatable dock. 10 times better for storage and they are stiff when inflated , so you can literally put chairs on them if you wanted to.
We own a2017 Aqua Patio 259CBD Tri Toon. Our recipe for good times:
1) Magma Monterey infrared gas grill mounted on side fence behind captain's seat.
2) Small Blackstone griddle mounted where the factory mounted the Magma grill that came with the boat.)
3) ICECO JP40 12 Volt portable refrigerator.
4) Multiple Contigo 20 ounce Byron Snapseal stainless steel insulated travel mugs. Keeps drinks cold all day and THEY FLOAT!
5) Multiple floating toys (noodles, Paricon noodle chairs, floating saddles, boogie boards, etc)
You sold us on the Lilly Pad. Looks like that will be on of our next purchases.
I have been told if I allow any grill drippings into water I could be finded by DNR...
any experience w this?

Look up Coast Guard rules/laws. Anything discharged that leaves a sheen on the water is illegal.
I will use a boot tray under my grill that sets on the deck. That should keep any drippings off of the carpet.
how to you store the towable on the boat?

are you saying 100 ft road or rope ?
"Rode" is just a fancy word for rope on an anchor (or anchor line)
I have that same anchor and it's the best. I use it in conjunction with a spike to keep the boat from swinging around. If we're on the river and need to attach to a sand bar, I just beach a little and use the regular anchor. No problem so far.

Box anchor on pontoon is the stuff. Way better than this style. 20 years of boating and it changed the game.
@@BoatBuyersSecretWeapon , we get a mixture of sand or very rocky bottom 45- 100foot deep. When in rocky area we've lost anchors from getting wedged in to much under boulders. Never once with box anchor, and in the sand the box anchor really catches fast. 2-3 medium size box anchors holds a line of boats of 6-8 ranging from 25foot pontoons and surf boats to 40 foot cats and center consoles in Oklahoma wind.
I understand that you were upset, but the title for your video about lights is completely inappropriate. I know the "F word is used casually, but I find it so offensive.
The BEST IDEA is NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a pontoon!
I love my 20 ft pontoon . I can launch and load it by myself, fish and take my wife and friends with me.
