- I want a big hole in stone, but I don't want to spend $400 on a coring bit. I got cheap industrial diamonds and some abs plumbing caps. IT VERKZ!

The definition of having fun in your workshop.
I was very impressed with his ability to get the JB Weld back INTO the tube! lol
That was great, clever format, clever fabricbblin!
Hand Tool Rescue a little too much fun me thinks when polishing his shank before inserting into the Chuck.
that part was pretty damn funny. I've never even see one of those, and I even saw it coming.
Kinda what I was thinking...but I guess it's his tapered shank and he can clean it as hard and fast as he likes. Looks like he did a good job of it. :-P
Fake! The entire video was in focus.
Ha!
+g yep
Focus you fack
Stepper Motor hahahahaha
Son of a diddly
Absolutely brilliant! After this one I may have to up my patron donation to you by a dollar or two.
AvE would reply, but he's quieting. Because art.
The Cody replying to an Ave vidjayo? What a sight!
On a thread with AvE AND Cody'sLab??? Whodda chooched it?
What! This comment!!!
shill
Flashback 53 years ago. I was 10 years old, elementary school on Long Island. Music class. Teacher plays some music and tells us that "you will never ever forgot these notes that you will now hear". Plays the music. I never forgot those ten notes, but did forget the name of the piece; for the last 53 years I never heard them again and more or less gave up on ever hearing them again. This evening, watching this ViJayo, my jaw dropped at about 3:10. There were the notes, just as I carried them in my head for the last 53 years. A moment that I will never forget. Thank You So Much.
What's the name of the piece?
@@techn1kal1ty Egmont, Op. 84: Overture by Beethoven.
@@vjaneczko Thank you, Vince! It's a beautiful piece to listen to while the safety squints are on...
Fukin awesome
chill bumps!!! great story!
I think your wife was expecting something different when you told her you were going to make her a diamond ring.
My vote for best comment. Thanks
wait till he gives her the pearl necklace that goes with it ...
Knowing AvE I bet that was exactly what she expected.
Those diamonds were quite sparkly, and there's some left over.
That kind of diamond ring could be handy. It's jewelry, but you can also use it to cut finger-sized holes in things.
So that's How to get JB Weld back into the tube... frigging awsome!
I'm pretty sure I was able to narrate pretty much this whole video in my head.
could i get a translation for the last 30 seconds
Every time he tightened something all i could hear in my head was eeeeer click
If you could narrate it in ur ball sack then I will be impressed
I love your vijoes but hate the not talking
AvE has reached such levels of awesome that he doesn't even need his voice on camera anymore.
Velktron "pootie don't got no words"
11/10 would watch again, I think I cried at one point, what a brilliant story, emotional and awe inspiring.
You mean Ave inspiring???
It was strangely satisfying that the cap you used was exactly the same diameter as the headstock assembly.
Moses Stevens good to see I wasn't the only one satisfied by that simple observation
off by 0.0028" you newb
You mean a blonde one.
theincrediblenoone, cmon now, it's a known fact that an RCH is the finest measurement scale there is.
Machinist 72 Thanks for the tip. ordered the "busk pack" (qty 6).
Cold beer says he forgot to turn his mic on....
crzy11000 damn you. I even read it in that voice...
i said it when i saw him bring out the tap
Nahh, hand gestures gives it away that it was planned..
I was field engineering a hinge repair today... (Hitting a coach bolt with a brick to get it to seat), mindlessly saying "tappy tap tap". Workmate mustn't spend his spare time watching the Canadian Bumfuzzle; thought 'I', was the mad one FFS.
More like he spilled moose head on his Mike...thus bumblefuck!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

Uncle Bumblefuck is so iconic that even if he's not saying anything, he still narriates in my head.
Anakin Skyobiliviator gentlemen... Welcome to the shop...
TODAY a treat es-pec-ialle.
Perv😂😂😂😂😂
Needs pork music in background instead
Still a better love story than twilight
It's windy I can't sleep then this happens. A miracle of moderate proportions ✌️
In the first scene when you pulled out the powder I heard in my head, "Straight from the big rock candy mountain."
Was I the only one standing up and applause ?
Amazing work on al styles, thank you Sir !
Even without speaking you manage to spice up with jokes ! Just great !
I swear I heard him say "GAHBEDGE" at 7:55 when he about tossed the cement out of the shop. Maybe that's just in my head though
me too
Pretty sure i shouted it at the screen.
Come out into the light.....its ok
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂👀
Could you next time talk a little less? its a little distracting from the content.
Jokes aside. Awesome!
Too many communication events!!!
This was almost on the level of a primitive technology video. I loved your pantomime explanations of what you were doing. Consider doing more of these, please!
I understood more of what you said here than I do when you speak
The Tod oddly enough same here
When he plops his wrist on the table?
Finzz yes! What the hell does that mean? Love it.
basically it means if you have the means do it with a machine, if not, do it by hand. You can see that he demonstrates a low tech solution then shows the easier machine solution.
El Sieberto basically that mine is bigger than yours.
2:39 Damn, I thought I liked stickers. I have nothing on this bumblefuck.
I hear ya. Lookin at you, CRAFTSMAN. $15 for 2 jeezless stickers!
Pretty sure my last freebie was from a Thrush! That little pecker and I go way back.
My fav is here: ua-cam.com/video/GSMW8lPbL1M/v-deo.htmlm14s. And no, it looks like they're out of business.
tere are even stikers from a dutch footbal team, the wrong one but dutch none the les
1:07
Absolutely amazing! You, sir, are brilliant. Already a master of the spoken word, you took it to a whole new level with this video into the realm of purely visual, non-verbal communication. And, yet, we knew _exactly_ what you were "talking" about despite nary a word and complex subject matter.
Though you'd be welcome as the shop teacher at any high school, you could easily be a professor at a university teaching masters class students, you're that good. This is no exagerration and there's no need for modesty. You truly know how to communicate and teach; you're a natural. Cheers!
Suck in up for a t-shirt eh?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I watch all of Your videos, and never comment on them. This is an exception. Combination of classical music, silient narreation and good workshop fun is a thing i have to admire.
This is one of the better videos I have ever seen on UA-cam...
animalmother556x45 I wish this was the introduction I had to this channel. Got in at clearing rock jams looking for gold.
4thGradeDropout Yeah, I mean...the vast majority of his videos would illicit a "sub" from me...but if I saw this for the first time, I would have hit "subscribe" with a 10lb sledge....
animalmother556x45 Agreed. It is always a pleasure to here the commentary and expert opinion of someone in industry who is also well read/ a real person.
if this doesn't win an oscar i don't know what art is.
The drama! The suspense! Riveting performance !
I watched this with my wife and it made her fall asleep. If I had known that's all it takes I would have starting sharing my ave videos with her a long time ago.
Same effect when I describe the intricacies of 3D printing to mine 😴
To end the quarrel...AVE bike is...narcalepsy for the princess!!! BRILLIANT😂😂😂😂😂
One of the best videos this channel has ever produced. From the super outside the box solution to a problem to the once again excellent choice in background music. (Egmont Overture, Opus 84).
The best compliment I can give this channel though is that my wife even likes it.
Keep up the good work.
Holy fuck I'm dying this is fucking hilarious. I usually watch these for the jargon n funny talking Canuck but this might be better than that. Is AvE the new Charlie Chaplin???
Corey Ballard Looks like the Kubrick of machining.
This is visual poetry my good man.
Uncle Bum being silent, never in a million generations of Trudeaus did I think that would happen.
Chris Is trudeau is the pm of our country ( canada)
This is Ballet for the Engineer, Dance of the Swarfs and Diamond chips.
....Best video yet and is absolutely brilliant.
Some of the finest music man has ever created. Love the channel, have for years...
Mike Hale....good man
Ahh, JB weld and classical music. Truly a pairing for the ages.
"... this goes to eleven."
I wonder how many people will get that?
But my guitar only goes to 10, where can I go from there?
Check out the volume control on a video on the BBC online. They've been doing that for almost 20 years... and so few people notice. Yet in the dozens of times they've re-engineered that site over the years someone has always stood up and told the developers "we need a customization on the volume control..."
AvE: *promptly flips dial beyond eleven*
I have to say.... I'm IMPRESSED! That worked rather well. Good show!
Steve
I want to be as cool as AvE when I grow up..... and given that I'm already an old fart I guess I'm fucked.
Old fart != grown up.
You can't help growing old, but growing up is a decision :-)
You've done some cool shit, I used to want to be as cool as HS5 when I was younger. Now I'm in the same boat, minus the old part lol
i'm not old so i guess i am just a fart :(
From one old fart to another, what is this 'growing up' of which you speak? I have no experience of this.
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Stands, claps hands throws roses on the stage... With loud whistles.
This was just about the most relaxing lunch break haha. Great job, and thanks for the epic idea
Most heart wrenching opera I ever had the gestational fortitude to endure! 10/10 would do again!
Ok this is weird I heard you explaining the intro even though it was silent... I either need more sleep or more beer.
THIS! SO much of This!I even took my headphones off at one point to make sure the voice was in my head!
Probably both.
Oh I heard every word.
More beer is probably always maybe the answer.
I heard every word. This is why I love this channel. and uncle bumble
Truly, AvE is a master of the pantomime.
I like it better when he swears :)
Troggie42
All it needs now are those full screen, white on black vintage movie descriptions!
its not the same without an expletive or two hundred
Ok, all the vee jay ohs are brilliant, but this is my favourite this year. Amazing. Creative. Not much cussing. Great music.
I understood every part of this video even without the talking and still laughed at times. This is wonderful, thanks for making my day with this!
Two in one day!
You magnificent bastard.
AVE, Bob, you have outdone yourself. If there are any Grannies for home builders videography, take em all!
No bullshit...your best work yet. Actions really do speak louder than words...especially the two-finger rub and the vigorous shaft cleaning. Left me in tears bro...
From the beginning, I couldn't get the Buffy episode "Hush" out of my head. Well done build!
In my mind you were playing this music in the shop while filming and chickadee was off screen dancing ballet dramatically.
That is a very calming image. So Zen.
I suspect Uncle Bumblefuck has a matching ballet costume to keep chickadee happy but he does the veejayoohs so he can keep his man card.
Real men have no problem dancing ballet with their children.
Yup
Step 1. Clean shaft thoroughly.
Step 2. Insert with force.
Step 3. Rotate until completion.
Baby Missions u forget step 4 offset and step five repeat
Just have to be careful to avoid excessive lateral force... a fracture could develop and then the doctor says you have to stay off the mill for 4-8 weeks.
This is the best vijeo I've seen all year.
It's like the looney toons of childhood, but for people who really like seeing stuff get lathed.
I've been watching for a long while now. This video is an absolute masterpiece and convinced me to join the Patreon. Bravo sir. Bravo.
A modern day Charlie Chaplin! Brilliant!!
my first thought aswell
saw this and though of The Cats In the Cradle, wrong chaplin, thinking of harry
No chance of getting demonetized for swears. Not that AvE cares.
haha yeah nice jerkoff there charlie chaplin "intended joke", it was quite a brilliant Video thoughout theme and music video
No, but I'm pretty sure he signed "Dick in vise" and possibly dick in lathe there at one point in KSL(Kanuckistani Sign Language) ;).
"Uncle Bumblefuck's Masterpiece Theater: JB-Weld Diamond Coring Bit"
George Verify looking at AvE polishing up that Morse taper, I'd say it's more like "Masturbates Theatre"...
Masturbulation Theatre
i suspect he left the chuck key in the lathe on purpose to piss off the overly safety oriented types. just a suspicion
Gothic Vash glad I wasn't the only one to notice that!
Fair messed with my head that did! :D
They hyper ventilated and fell over banging their heads...no more problems😂😂😂😂😂😂
He’s trolling there lol
I'm glad another commenter knew the name of the musical piece: "Beethoven's Egmont Overture." I then searched UA-cam to see which conductor was responsible for this superb version, and within the comments section of one of the vids, someone marveled how Beethoven overcame his deafness to create such wonderful music. Then it dawned upon me that it was probably no accident that our favorite creative Uncle utilized the music of a deaf musician for a video with no sound (other than the deaf Musician's music). Well played, sir.......Oh, and BTW didja notice at 4:18 with all the metal lying around he used pieces of dead tree carcasses to solve his problem?
Ha! After playing this vid about four times, I was curious about your motions at :42, and I think I know what you did there.
He speaks with his hands...I made out "skookum" & "Swedish Nut Rounder." I thought he was saying "Tappy tap tap" but it was actually "Formerly known as the wife's sewing room - Tippy tip tip"
The dancing fingers when the first glue attempt was curing definitely means "waiting on that to chooch"
The Sick Horse Ranch the hands after the first attempt peeled off were definitely "gahbage".
Mike Horan I definitely saw a cock for dollie.
I heard him say "Click" a few times in my head with the chuck key.
Never take rock for granite.
Agreed
I always thought it was don't stuff for "granted"... have I really been living a lie for 28 years?
Casey Gray You're right, but the poster meant to write it like that. If you get it, you get it, if not... Well, try again in another 28 years...
One of the most engaging pieces of film I have ever seen couldn't keep my eyes off the screen!
one of my favorite vids so far, if only for the immense amount of footage and editing!
Dayyyymn, Uncle B uploading vids daily? I have a new found reason for living!
I am not sure how I feel about this.. I still heard you talking in my mind the entire time!!! I need help..
So freaking cool! You really inspire me using ordinary/cheap objects to achieve some amazing results.
Now this is a real work of art if I ever saw one. And I love the video format too.
even though he was not talking... how many of use still knew what he was saying? haha
Aaron Campbell every single one of us
Was the video cut short? I was expecting him to demonstrate what to keep in a vice.
R-8 gonna blow😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for the margarita making instructions webmaster.
That was beautiful. I cried the entire time from its magnificence...or from the immense amount of beers I had while watching
I just spend a week without internet, this is the first thing I've seen since. Great video Ave, you've made my day! I could hear you talk even though I couldn't hear you talk.
i've watched too much ave.
either that or im crazy. he didnt speak in the vid but sure as hell spoke in my head
Vicious Slayer Me too. There's only one explanation: He's JFM.
no talking, just the occasional click or grunt as he tightens a chuck up.
Yeah, 4:56 was totally a dick joke.
and the oscar goes tooooo: UNCLE BUMBLEFUCK
One of the funniest videos I've seen and not a word said in it!!!!
Stuff like this is why I love this channel.
There once was a vampire named Mabel
Whose periods were very unstable
And every full moon
She'd whip out a spoon
And drink herself under the table
Holy o fuck
What did one lesbian vampire say to the other lesbian vampire?........"See you next month."
There once was a girl from Wheeling.
She had a peculiar feeling.
She arched her back and opened her crack and peed all over the ceiling.
Have you ever tried the super glue and baking soda trick? For those that don't know about it, apply the super glue and sprinkle baking soda on top. It will catalyze almost instantly and turn extremely hard. Works like a hot damn on little plastic pieces such as when you break a clip or whatnot while working on your car. I have also heard that it is an approved repair method for composite rotor blades on choppers. Might have worked in this instance for bonding the diamond dust to the bit. Just a handy trick to keep in mind next time something plastic decides to break and needs a quick bond.
gtoboss600 you can also pack a small void with baking soda and squirt superglue in there. The baking soda acts as a catalyst and a filler material simultaneously. Perfect for when something plastic shatters and you can't find quite all of the little slivery bits to stick it back together
Performance art meets engineering; this is the love child.
Phenomenal! Vivaldi (I think), fabricoblin to the extreme (another great use of JB Weld), keeping the wife happy and getting to play with man toys.....a perfect day was had (and the R8 collet agrees as well!)
Thank you for another great one.
I'm very stoned, but this was beautiful.
Sam Smith same
I think you forgot this: "&"
Mike - Well he where stoned after all ;)
Rocker and a roller....right of controller
What!? I didn't know you could cut granite with Stripper Dust.
WOW, Thanks Uncle B
Love the looney tunes! I had a friend lift his house 5’ with jacks over 4 years to build his basement out to 10’ and all he listened to was these Warner brothers tapes of Bugs bunny music. You’re awesome!
Love your videos man, you're my favorite youtuber. Keep it up!
Idk bout the rest of you. I was rollin on the floor laughin so hard. AvE is a genius!! 🤣😂🤣🤣😂
if I found myself a lathe I would never leave my shop
I read that wrong.
Was cracking up with the flourishing hand gestures. You should make more vid jay o's like this for your random projects. Keep up the good work man, you help give some laughter and add some intelligence to the day!
This may go down as the best video you've ever created. Absolutely love everything about it. My Patreon donation will keep on flowing every month!! Keep 'em coming sir. KYDIAV.
I laughed, I cried, I was satisfied. You are as funny no talking as you are talking. Lets not forget genius.
Love the theatrical performance, keep it up.
Especially enjoyed the use of the French Horn in your arrangement ;^)
Magnificent, your poetry needs no words!
This is why you're the best!
I wanna give this 2 thumbs up
My boss is out of town this week and I am on track to finish watching all of UA-cam by Friday afternoon. Based on what I've seen so far, it is a near certainty that this is the best video on the internet at this time.
That was terrific, man! What a video! What a build! What a result!
That was amazing Sir. I for one was getting sick of all the "talkies" that been all the rage lately, trust Me though, it won't take off.
I'm about to go to bed. I had a really crappy day........and then along comes an Ave vidjayo!!! And it's all better now. You never let me down man.
This by far is my favorite video of yours that I’ve seen so far
Can someone give this man an award already? Some mighty fine fabricobblin.
1:07 MY INNOCENCE! OH GOD WHERE HAS IT GONE??? (Also I suspect that it was entirely intentional)
As much as I like your bastardization of several languages, this was a terrifically enjoyable video. Glad your experiment turned out.
Luke Snyder Looks to me as if it never was an experiment, the old master knew exactly what he was doing
I hade to say something. I hate videos that don't talk, but you did a great job with this one. Clearly shows what you did, and even made me laugh. Great video!
Wow! Stunning! After watching your videos, I know I have to have a milling machine or lathe some day. Can't live with out one now.
