      I wouldn't know, my GPS has pretty much eliminated Poundtown as a destination in the last couple weeks. (Generally Pissedoff Spouse).
      EDIT: Rerouting...rerouting...make a U-turn as soon as possible. Think my GPS just told me to go eff myself.

      The thing about using fusion 360 or Esprit to make your program is I'm never 100% sure what the program is going to do. At least as a new tool and die maker.

    I chuckled when you were amazed someone threw out 10lb of Brass. I was recently on a project where we threw out close to 2 tons of nice brass (mostly in perfect sized 15-20LB chunks). Our customer wouldn't let us keep any of it, insisted it all had to go in the metal scrap bin, it hurt seeing all that go in the "trash".

    Im so glad you show all of your mistakes.
    Im an engineer but I often make mistakes like these and got quite disheartened by it.

    Best tip for long tools is to raise the feed to not chatter. E on the probe cycle is to offset your zero, that got me the first time aswell.

    I like interfaces like cura for my 3d printing because it tells you what each setting does and what it changes, and that just makes for less confusion

    Anyone else imagining a flood coolant anti-chastity belt for boudoir related activities? No? ah well. Also - AVE - looks like a perfect project for a 3d printed insert. extra dividers and can optionally fill in the apprentice void with a fully intentional color/material change.

      Coming from the artsy-fartsy world, we try to store them sideways or the mix of ink pigments starts to settle and separate.

      Nope. Black sharpies are meant to be stored tip up, and silver sharpies tip down, that's why the silver sharpies don't have a pocket clip on the cap. (As per manufacturer.) Each market is different. See, you learned something, and now you can tell your mom the time you "wasted" on UA-cam wasn't a waste after all.

    Ah, didn't reduce the inner wall length on the intersections and throw in a gentle taper. Nothing a couple gravers and needle files couldn't fix! I have faith in you; you will complete that maze without losing a pen

    watching these kind of videos i wondered what happens with the excess lube that goes down the CNC. Does it get filtered from the metal pieces and back to the system ... or just down the drain?

    E = offset shift (pickup X web center, then shift ___ amount over from there for the the new zero position)

    AvE, you can never use too much lube. Sure clean up is a problem, but why risk damage to your tool.
