In this beginner wet felting tutorial, Marie shows you how to wet felt over a resist to make this adorable Night Owl. Your Night Owl can be made into a night light, a plush toy, or just a sweet decoration for a child's room. Once your owl is wet felted, you can customize the owl's face with a bit of needle felting - the supplies are super simple and this little guy wet felts together fast! Well I have been holding off wet felting, but this tutorial has sparked my desire to do this. The only wet felting I have done to this point is to make a piece of fabric for a shawl for a doll I needle felted. Not very detailed. But this video shows I can make an adorable useful object!
