  • Wet Felt Flowers with Stems and Leaves Tutorial
    *This week we build on our lesson from a few weeks ago where we wet felted fancy flowers. In today's show, we demonstrate how easy it is to make flowers with a stem...and you can even add leaves.
    *This is the FULL VERSION of our Wooly Wednesday Broadcast
    Catch us LIVE on www. livingfelt Wednesdays @ 2pm Central
    SUPPLIES USED are from our shop: feltingsupplies...
    These flowers are fun and easy diy spring crafts which are also great gifts for teachers, mother's day, or anyone you want to cheer up. Send these instead of live flowers to someone in the hospital.
    We try to answer every question that we can during the hour thatt we get to share with you. If we are unable to answer your question, please give us a call at 877-665-5790 or send us a message at the link below. We are here 6 days a week and love being of service!! :)

    I watched this live 4 years ago and made flowers for gifts.. here I am now in 2023 and I’m actually watching again to refresh my memory as I am going to teach as a volunteer and I thought this would be a really fun beautiful beginner project and heck beginner for me too because this will be the first time for me to teach a class 😳 well now I need to order the supplies needed… fingers crossed 🤞🏻

    Thank you so much for this wet felted flower tutorial, I really appreciated watching it. I am new to felting and hope to demonstrate some felting to our quilting group here where I live. We are a talented group that likes to do lots of different projects for ourselves and our local Art Gallery.😀

    I just made my first flower and I love it! The tutorial is so good and I just love all the wet felting lessons here.
    How do you get the join of the stem and the flower really strong? I feel there is this small part that is slightly thinner than the stem. Can't wait to make more!

    This might be an odd question but I'm a beginner. Can I wet felt a picture to get it more felted after I'm done laying it out? I seem to get a lot of fly aways from my wool. I thought using soap and water might help it. BTW I love the flowers and can't wait to try them!

    • @LivingFelt
      @LivingFelt  2 роки тому

    When adding leaves to a stem, could you needle felt a leaf leaving an end un-felted and attach that end it by wet felting it to the stem?

    • @LivingFelt
      @LivingFelt  4 роки тому

      Absolutely! Yes :) That is exactly how to do it.

      Hi and thank you! We are not sure which video was being referenced, but it may have been the flower heart we needle felted a few weeks prior. We are not certain if that one made it to UA-cam, but the link is below...fast foward to around the 36min. mark

      LivingFelt Hi yes I guess that would be the one. I guess I misunderstood I thought that it was wet felted with the wire. Can that be done?

    Can flowers be needle felted also?

    • @LivingFelt
      @LivingFelt  5 років тому

      Yes, Ali ... however they are not as delicate as this. You can needle felt a lot of things in 3D, and in 2D, just begin and experiment.
      We have a playlist for needle felting also :) ua-cam.com/video/JASEuUZdJYo/v-deo.html
