Also because, then you can disconnect the robbon cable of the fingerprint sensor, so that you don't accidentally brake that cable because the back plate is in the way.
Excellent video for diy replacing the port, but DO NOT order part from included link. It's not the correct, original replacement part. There are things missing off of the part that will cause loss of reception, etc. Search for video about "Spotting fake Pocophone parts" for a better explanation.

Hi, I just changed my old poco f1 battery to a new since my previous battery was having issues like "slow charging but fast discharging" and "not charging properly like sometimes it doesn't charge at all". My my old battery was bloated when i opened my phone and my new battery works fine now until I realized that my phone does not charge at all when i plug the charger in. I tried restarting and rwbooting my phone but nothing helps. Now, what I think is the charging port is the problem malfunctioning buy I'm not certain of it and I dont want to order a new charging port just for nothing....or is there any other else that can cause this? What do you think is the real problem? Can you help me with this by answering my questions? Thank you in advance.
@@virpol same on my poco f1. It keeps chating, not charging, charging not charging, it's so frustrating that I wanna smash the litlle bugger on the wall mate. 90% of the times I solve it exactly like u (I restart it and it's stay on charging)
@@zuzuddm try using different charger. I think I bought too strong charger for this phone. It charges normally on 15w charger. On 65w it does shit like you described

From memory I paid bellow 5 usd for that part and it works for charging and file tranfers like it's intended.
You DON'T need to remove upper motherboard panel, fingerprint sensor, or the battery tape to replace the charging port.

Fake, u are not installing replace board, its the same original... Replacement has none of elemnts on it and the mic quality is just very bad

You might have the signal wire back in not so tightly or folded it...
