I was about to replace the my board with the bad non original replacement board, was looking into how to replace it and found this.. Thank you for this video, I'll be buying an original board now even through it's more expensive
Thanks so much for this video man. I recently replaced my Samsung a02s charging board and for some reason I wasn't getting any cell service, so i thought maybe it had something to do with the network wire but it didn't make a difference. Now at least I have a solution all that's left is to teardown my phone and compare the one inside with an original one on google. So THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this vid, I appreciate it.🙂🙏
One i ordered had 4G LTE range bars but had slow internet. Charging worked. The technician said its always better to work on bad orginal board than new ones. The board's name is CC board.
I have faced dame problem. I bought fake one and get very poor signal after contact with buyer he said I should change wifi antenna which does not make sens because the blutooth and wifi works great the only problem with 4G but unfortunattly I have bought also the wifi antenna then I did not install because I saw your video and knows the problem Thanks for sharing you have save me 3 hours work time
I hope you still reply after 4 years. I checked online and there is a listing for a charging board. One with IC and one without. I use my Pocophone without the sim and only use wifi for internet. Will the missing IC affect my wifi speed? Or should I just opt for the one witb IC? Please reply. Thank you. Edit: I'm looking on Shopee and there's many options
this is why you carefully read the specs . i bought mine knowing the 2 chips are not on the board. the original board failed on me back in 2021, replaced it and it worked great. i bought a poco x3 pro so the sim isnt any use for me. i now use my f1 as my emulation device with a 5000 mah upgraded battery. the non chip board is about 4$ and the orginal is about 20$ so i cant pass up the price when i just need charging and data transfer.
like many other due to find this video in the pursuit of how to change the part i now am going to buy the proper part and throw this in the bin , thanks for the helpful video new subscriber earnt
Well, in the end, they scammed me, luckily I only wanted it to fix the mic, I still have the old one, and thanks to the fact that I realized that many things were missing, and I didn't change your video, thanks bro !!
Commenting from the future (2022) and my Poco F1 had a problem with the usb port that I couldn't fully plug in the usb cable and charging was a bitch. So I called the local official Xiaomi service center and inquired if I could have it serviced but unfortunately, they saif they don't carry parts for the F1 anymore. No choice, so I looked on Shopee and found a seller that offered 2 variants: without IC and with IC (with IC was way more expensive). So the item came and I didn't know if the item they sent was with or without IC (I only found this video recently). I installed it anyway, and the phone charges fine now (with quick charge even) but lo and behold -- weak signal from both sim slots and even dropped calls. I can live with it now since I WFH and use mostly wifi, but unfortunately, until I can source an original usb board, it might be time to retire my F1 as my daily driver.
Ah man, that's shitty to hear, but yeah, this is really a problem with spare parts on the open market. An alternative is to repair the port on your original port; not the easiest option by any stretch of the imagination, but possibly the best of both.
you should repair your phone if you know how to do it, fake parts have always been a thing. dont discourage people, if the part it fake you return it. thats it
thanks for replying, but i already solved my cell data problem, my specialist change the charging port but still using the original board, now it function perfectly again, thanks for you too now i know how not to buy a fake replacement item.
It only affects your sim 2 signal. If you use micro sd card in your sim 1 slot and your sim in sim 2 slot you will have the signal drop issue. I also had the same problem but after switching my sim to sim 1 slot I didn't have any signal issue.
that was shit there... they should do it reverse. coz you can't fit the sd card on the sim 2 slot. they should atleast make it in a ways that sim 2 is not affected so atleast you can use the sd card slot. now I'm thinking if I can find a modified sim tray for pocof1
Hello, in my country there is no Xiaomi service center, and my charging port does not work well, my only option is to buy a part, I found in Ali the part without IC and with IC, according to your video you recommend buy the part with IC?
Actually i buy at shopee and it is the same as you tell. My charging port replacement is totally different from the original one. Thanks for info. I already spend 250++ to fix my pocophone f1. 😂
almost same issue as mine. I tried to fix my charging port in cheap way rather than paying 1,500 pesos from Mi service center. Few months later my battery bloated and my phone smells like nail polish remover and I think that charging port is the problem, because it may not be equal to voltage enters to the battery that's probably why it bloated up.
the voltage regulator is in your charger not in the phone. you can see your charger voltage specs printed in the body. bloating battery usually have something to do with heat (lithium hate high temperature) or over charging. now a days overcharging is almost non existing coz most phone has BMS chip in it. (battery management system) it automatically disconnect if battery is full. so you bloating battery is either getting expose to high heat while in use. or the BMS is malfunctioning.
Yesterday I bought a second hand poco f1, guess what I've the same of yours network problem, I can't even use my data. After watching ur vdo I open my phone and booom, duplicate charging board. Please suggest me website where I can buy the original charging board.
I have a funny symptom: fast charging works perfectly when I have the cable facing one side, but I get only slow charging if I flip the cable. The plug is not loose or dusty. I believe ESD killed one of the USB pins in one side of the plug, because I use those magnetic cables whose head is always plugged in the phone. Did you have a similar symptom with your phone? Maybe ESD just killed some fuse in the USB board but not the actual pin in the processor? You think it's worth trying to change the USB board? Thanks for the video!
Lol. I had that after a year even with the new port where it only worked at certain angles, so I had a look at the port, turns out the solder joints cracked. Did some reflow soldering, works perfectly now. 👌
Man I have been through it last month . And it was the worst experience I had to search at different shops most of them told me that it will take weeks At last I got it but it was expensive for the real board
Lol,I installed this a hour ago At first I got low signal that's because the antenna cable was not connected properly Then I fixed it properly and signal is good and even the quick charge works
Can confirm. Though I read this exact comment before installing my scammy usb-socket, and making extra sure everything sits tight, I still messed up and had terrible reception after the first attempt. So I took it apart again, reattached the antenna, and now everything is fine. But I'm still concerned. I can't believe those missing chips were just there for fun. I hope it's not destroying my battery when charging... Let's seee...
