I didn’t have the exact products but I used what I had Joico Conditioner Balm, Argan oil, Shine Mousse and filtered water. Babbby! It restored my units. Very easy process. Loved the video ♥️

I think I shall be making this solution in a sink or bucket. My Aunt who's visiting from out of town, just showed me three synthetic wigs. two of which are jacked up!!

Well I didn't see her use any Fabric Softener...What i saw was Conditioner...Oil..Anti Frizz Creme...Mousse or Gel
She didn't use fabric conditioner or water unless you are getting mixed up with another video

I know this is an old video but I just tried this solution to revive my hair, does it last throughout the day without getting crazy frizzy and poofy?
To be completely honest, I am the type of girl that once her wig gets ragedy oh well lmao but this was so easy and I had all that in my house! My wig looks so good now and it's a kinky curly wig so it gets ragedy soooo quick! It's crazy how many times I washed my wig and it didnt come out not even close to how it came out with this method! Thanks!

I love the on screen captions and this music was everything... I never seen people put oil on synthetic hair tho. I thought that was the forbidden fruit

No it absolutely has been considered a "No No" to put oil on synthetic hair I don't put more than a squirt (Probably just mentally for sheen) also I don't use it on other textures of hair but for some wicked reason it really worked w this one. that wig lasted me over 6 months which NONE of my other synthetics have. Low key I think it has to do w the combination of products and finishing it off w the gel. Lately refined the method and chopped it down in ingredients. I'm still trying it out maybe another week before I feel it's full proof! But other than that I'm so glad you enjoyed the vid & sorry for my long message lmfao xoxo!

If u try it out don't use more than a small squirt of ur favorite oil I realized I didn't specify in the video that I use a VERY SMALL amount (maybe the size of a small button) or if u can stop in the beauty supply store check for a wig sheen and spray it on after the conditioner solution & before you apply the gel! Does it have to be those specific products? Can I use originals leave in liquid mayonnaise and question after I’m tired of the curls and I want to straighten the hair will it burn the hair since it has so many oils etc from the leave in moisturizer. Can you flat iron any synthetic with any products
Luna The god at this point I would suggest you not use any oils on the synthetic hair (unless youre looking to make it smell better) I have a more updated (still older) version of reviving an old synthetic wig. With only three or so products used. And the flat iron will have to set at a very low heat. Do a test strip, taking a good amount of strands and test what’s the exact heat setting. I probably would do the fabric softener method let the hair completely dry and then flat iron. 😩 I hope that helped! Xoxo

I thought you werent supposed to use oil on synthetic wigs, I also didn't know you could use gel on them. I have to try it, I hate curly wigs that frizz.

Okay here's a question? now I didn't read all the comments, but I wanted to know if you use fabric softener how do you not make it smell so heavy, cuz fabric softener smells good but it leaves a lingering heavily smell, do I add a little bit more water than I do fabric softener? cuz I just made try this!
Thuan Carson yeah 3 parts water to 1 part fabric softener, that should give it the smell but not weigh it down or leave it feeling filmy! Hope that helps xoxo

Laurel Whyte sorrry so late I never say this comment in my notifications but yes I can use conditioner (that's the tea tree product I used in the solution) and for a quick fix a little conditioner, water and finger comb if ur in a hurry!! Xo

I'm lazy as hell, forgive me but can you just run the hair under water finger comb and then use mousse to set the curls?
lmfaoooo, i made a new solution for this exacts same reason its quicker and cheaper. im filming it this week. but as just quick maintenance yea you can do that. i do it w a spray bottle of water and condition and just spray it down and finger comb & go. this is for when your wig is just so twisted and you were on the verge of throwing it out! xo.

You can use water, your favorite leave in conditioner and any kind of holding product you have spritz, gel anything! 😉 xoxo

yes it will and if u have nothing at all go w 2 parts water 1 part fabric softner and if you need hold put a small bit of moouse on it while its still damp anad air dry.

no it actually doesnt, most products i use are pretty light weight. and i never over kill. in my next revival im going to show the amount that i use so you guys can get a better idea of exactly how i make solutions and apply any holding products.

This is surprising because I've been told here's no use in using hair products on synthies because it's not real hair, so there is no shaft to be penetrated by the products. They always say just fabric softener lol
