America is amazing. Literally you don't get this level of effort put into actual historical site/museums here in the UK. But us has this just for a shop. This is awesome
Every Bass Pro Shops are like this and it's impressive the effort they put into them
Don’t be obsessed over the US. We’re horrible
@@dabussy6001 truly depends on where you live in it
@@dabussy6001 no we aren’t
@Dabussy you Americans are always hating on yourselves lol
The place looks more like a museum of natural history
I've been to this place before and I approve of that
Well, yes.
It isn't our only pyramid dedicated towards consumerism.
@@JohnSmith-dd8bf What about the Las Vegas one?
@@JohnSmith-dd8bf Better that than the state sanctioned worship of a single guy who thinks he's God lmao
Just want to say thank you Eric. I am bed bound and can't get to see stuff like this anymore and you don't understand how much this does for me I appreciate it much buddy
Just walk it off champ you'll reach the top of that ladder.
Hope your all better now brother 🙏
Its a Memphis Miracle
😂😂😂 shut up
Eric: “Welcome to paradise”
Me: “Welcome to the place I became lost from my parents as a small child”
Hope you find them.
I don’t know if he said this but if he didn’t, I believe this is the 7th largest pyramid in the world.
10th*
@@hunteryoungblood649 because of the Bosnian ones correct?
respect the struggle, it looks cool. but it does not fulfill any of the capabilities of an ancient stone pyramid. confront corrado malanga cheope pyramid. it's basically a gigantic diapason that created low frequency sound waves used for healing. basically ancient medbed (qauntum healing) technology
@@marcusa4193 huh?

Ah yes the tall Eric in a tall pyramid
"The Mississippi is just over here" where the crippled I-40 bridge is, just out of sight.
wdym crippled
@@VSNVanny a couple months ago a critical steal beam broke. Started as a crack that had been there for a few years. The bridge has been closed since while they make repairs. You can see that it's closed when Eric shows it at the end of the video.
@@bagnome and it’s a big pain in the butt especially for someone that has to make deliveries downtown every week.
Yeah a crippled bridge that is way overdue to be fix.
@@baileyhall3362 Memphian here 👋 I feel you…❤
Fun change of pace,. Seeing this place now blows my mind! I still remember seeing Kobe Bryant lead a big 4th quarter comeback to beat the Grizzlies by 1 on a buzzer beater there way back in April of 2003..
RIP.
His death is the only one that just don't feel real to me.
Bass Pro Shops: _exists…_
*Noah Gragson living in it after doing post race media intensifies.*
Noah Gragson still needs to find victory lane….
He has like 6 Dnfs this year in 14 races so. . . 😳
@@cringefootball2020 he’s got the amaroilli curse

Eric: like I said this was originally built as a basketball arena
I love when Eric does his random vlog videos like this one. He gets to show us around places, be himself, and be funny with them. Great video Eric!
11:14 *Ohhhh! East? I thought you said “weast”*
4:46 *DannyB has entered the chat*
The child like wonder and amazement during this whole video was the best part.
Surprised Noah Gragson didn’t turn up out of nowhere
Why does NBA “stadium” trigger me so much? They are arenas. Phew, I feel better now 😂
Same lol
I'm Arkansas kid with family in Collierville, so I love going across the bridge and driving through Memphis. I don't love big cities, but I do like driving through Memphis and Little Rock.
memphis and little rock arent big at all lol
😂😂😂
Pretty sure they had the Austin Dillon Daytona fence crash car there at one point
Kind of random Eric… but that looks awesome!
Random Thought:
When Eric said "Tomb of Doom", the way he said it is like an evil villain, and if he was one, I'd say he's like a Baxter Stockman
Also I'm originally from Memphis, and I've never been to the pyramid....
Dude that's what the main thing your city is known for before I knew Memphis was even a city I knew of the Bass pro shop pyramid
@@ktg3811 good for you? you wanna cookie?
First a DannyBVlogs, now an Eric Estepp Vlog! Who's next? What a great start to the day!
apparently, Austin Dillon, Richard Childress, Tony Stewart, Kerry Earnhardt, and Kelley Earnhardt Miller were all there for the grand opening
That’s awesome, I am a huge fisherman and so excited to go there, that is my dream destination honestly even though I have been to Jamaica and places like that, but I am goin on July 8th and staying in their hotel!
how was it
@@mmenace2sobrietyy great
This is awsome
🇺🇸 for my friend. its been 10 years since Crystal Palace in Moncton NB was replaced by another bass pro shop in the city
Kool video Eric!! Never knew this existed!! I’m there!! This is a nice change of pace ,, glad you showed us this most awesome Bass pro shop ,, thanks 😊
Thanks for sharing! When we drove through Memphis it was like 20 minutes to closing, so I'm glad to get a closer look in your video.
Surprised Noah Gragson wasnt there, Its would have made this video a whole lot better
Thanks for the great tour. We love Bass Pro Shops!
I'm going to Memphis next week and I'm excited to check out this pyramid! 10:59- The name of the bridge is called Hernando De Soto Bridge (Tied-Arch Bridge) named after the explorer who traveled the Mississippi River south of the present day location of Memphis.
😂 😂 😂
I went to a few Grizzlies games there when I was in elementary school. The Pyramid sat vacant for years after the Grizzlies & Tigers both left. It’s brought a lot of tourism to Memphis overall.
My dad went to some games
😂 😂 😂
Awesome video! I work there and it still blows my mind too. I grew up seeing concerts and basketball games there!
Bass Pro in Bristol use to have the Fish Bowl bowling ally attached. It was detailed but may not be that detailed as it is in Memphis (but hey you go all out in the pyramid), now Bristol's Bowl is now Cabellas line of outdoor gear
I was on an Amtrak once from New Orleans to Chicago, and when we passed this I 100% thought I had fallen asleep. Just the weirdest structure.
This is awesome to see you post this, I live right across the bridge in West Memphis AR
WOW 😲 that is most definitely awesome thank you for the tour
Is NO ONE else going to acknowledge the dead fish hanging out with 2 tennis balls at 4:26 ? Ig it's just gonna be me
@13:51 was originally planned to be an inclinator that you could ride to the top in the original designs but never materialized.
Thank you for sharing this. Wowser! I will definitely go there soon.
That was Awesome!!! Thanks for doing that!!
I know that you had to work hard to get in there with the I-40 bridge being closed.
The traffic isn't that bad anymore, they did a lot of stuff on both sides of the bridge to clean it up and make traffic smooth
@@MisledVision I run Memphis to Little Rock twice per day, 5 days a week. It didn’t get better until this week. Still not great. But if you can get through Memphis without getting carjacked or robbed, it was a successful trip.
The pyramid looks amazing
Over 40 years ago, Bass Pro was just a regional chain of small bait shops when I was a boy living in Northern Missouri. How it's become such a large corporate is something else. Columbia and Springfield, MO also have great big nice Bass Pro shops. The Bass Pro pyramid is magnificent!
wow man, now that was realy awesome! So creative I just can't believe that you can make a shop on that level! Anyways, cool video, thanks!
Love that video. U should make more videos like these Eric💯
Is there a mummy of Noah Grayson, Ty Dillon, Austin Dillon, Martin Truex Jr., Jamie McMurray, and more? 😃
“Quickest way for my Bass Pro experience to end”😂
Bass Pro Shops has a pyramid:
That one drunk man: BASS PRO SHOPS IS A PYRAMID SCHEME!
And I wasn't that one who said that. Probably somebody else.
lol
Sounds like my grandfather.
How am I just now finding out about this building. Thanks Eric for sharing pretty epic. Note don't mind vlog style video's hope you do more.
Even on vacation/work trip Eric still putting content out!
I was thinking of the BSF video the whole time you were there, I was shook when you mentioned him! It was a worlds collide moment. Hahaha
Great shout out to Bright Sun Films!
Love their videos
You are quite a producer, keep up the interesting stops, and camera shots, your narrations, some are priceless, are spot on funny. THX 4 th' brake.
Mixing it up. Love it!
In Springfield Missouri there is a pretty big and cool Bass Pro Shops (which I'm pretty sure is its headquarters) that has a gun museum and large fishing, boating, and hunting displays.
Awesome! I'll be at the truck race Friday and the cup series race on Sunday. Can't wait!!!!!!
Awesome video thanks!
This is what I’ve been waiting for my entire life
Oh wow that is really awesome I have to go there and I love Bass pro Shop With Swamp Experience!
I'm a Smallmouth bass angler and buy a ton of stuff at BPS. The BPS/ pyramid is somewhere that I need to go!
Awesome..Thanks Soo Much💯💞
Eric you are going to meet some the most hard core fans in NASCAR when you get to Nashville TN. Thanks for the video I enjoyed it.
My friends and I are doing a cross-country road trip next month and we considered staying at this hotel. I think this video might have sold me on it.
I went through the pyramid in the early 2000's when the Guggenheim Art of The Motorcycle exhibit was there. I was the only person in the building, it was awesome.
Lived my whole life 80 miles from the Pyramid and only been to it once
Was pretty fun
i live near the bass pro HQ in springfield. they have shooting arcades, ponds, and an albino alligator. also we have a huge aquarium and it is awesome. i highly recommend it
You're already there! Can't wait to be at the race sunday!
Roc&Ks: We need more Eric blogs!
i will be in nashville as well hope to see you there . i met you in talladega couple yrs ago . great show . i lve in chattanooga tn 85 miles from the track .
That shop is amazing, I'd go there every weekend for a walk around with a coffee. 👌

Night at the museum vibes
Honestly, when I was on a trip to Oklahoma we arrived at this large hotel, the interior was beautiful. I loved it! I even got to saw a tall view of the top of the hotel. Like what, it was like.. 100 or 200 ft tall? I forgot. It was honestly one of the most best hotels.
This one is amazing I used to work for the company but I never knew about this one what a surprise
My Sophmore chemistry teacher was a big outdoor guy and would always talk about fishing, hunting and his guns. I always had it written down to ask him if he’s been here and I never got the chance to ask him. He retired too, so now I’ll just assume he’s been here since then.
The last race at Nashville Superspeedway was the NASCAR Nationwide (now Xfinity) Series Federated Auto Part 300 on July 23, 2011. Carl Edwards won the race.
So, that is just LESS THAN 10 years not more.
But, I'm headed to Gladeville on Sunday as well, maybe I'll see you there.
12:00 I’m glad I’m not the only one who struggles with that intrusive thought.
Huh. Never thought I'd ever have a reason to visit Memphis, but here we are! This looks amazing!
😂😂😂
I was fixing to move to Memphis to fly a drone for security purposes, but I was looking to settle down in Arkansas a short distance from the border. Then I saw that that bridge you highlighted was shut down, I saw the absurd traffic outside of peak hours at the bridge to the South and realized I'd be playing with fire on drive time, especially if god help me a crash happened on the southern bridge.
That being said...that pyramid does look really cool. I'd definitely check it out had I followed through on that relocation.
I’m from Memphis. We would’ve loved to have you! ❤ You missed out!😊
Don’t. That would be a huge mistake
My mom lived there with her sister for a while & I saw the pyramid from a distance & it was cool🤘🏻Humongous building🏁
You are awesome eric!
Drove by it the once the only time I ever drove through Memphis. Unfortunately it was getting dark outside, which is right about the time to get out of Memphis.
In case your wondering yes he was at bass pro in Memphis I've passed by it too. And he caught a glimpse of the Mississippi river bridge on i40 he couldn't use that bridge due to cracks on it it should be running again next month. I hope. But I wonder what way did you take I think you took majority of the way I've taken when to both Indiana and more recently Nashville which your heading too. I sure wish to see it again myself.
There is some cool videos about this building. Bright Sun Films especially slaps.
That is awesome
I’ve been to this place in Memphis I was very lucky to go and I gotta say it is truly majestic!
😂😂😂
That's so cool! Would like to visit one day!
I'm in it right now sooo cool!
Eric's surprisingly good at Non Nascar stuff
I’m from Memphis. Yeah, the Pyramid was a big deal. Concerts were a blast there!
Who cares you’re from one of the most dangerous cities in the USA 🦍 🦍🔫🔫
Great pyramid of Memphis featuring a tall Eric
I've only been to the Bass Pro Shop Concord Mills Mall, Johnny says they're all distinctive to their region.
Me: Checks Google
News Article Headliner: GMS Racing to join the cup series in 2022
Me: What?
I was thinking the same thing😂
I went there in 2019 when I was in 6th grade. That view is nostalgic!
Nice detour! TY
Bright Sun Films did a video about this place
Edit: I see you already put it in the description haha.
I'm going next month to memphis that place is definitely on my bucket list
Reminded me of an Adam the Woo video lol. Nice work Eric
