The holy trinity of outdoor shops (at least in Colorado): Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s, REI, and SCHEELS.

Fun watch Hollie! My wife is from Springfield and we have been there many, many times. Including BassPro Shop... we've watched it grow over the years to the amazing experience it now is. BassPro also purchased Cabela's and so is now probably the largest store of it's type in the US. By the way, you are in America and it is OK to show their firearms and hunting sections. 😀 If you get the chance, head south to Branson and the lake areas. My wife's family has a place on Bull Shoals Lake where we have had some wonderful times fishin', huntin' and visitin'! Also, thanks again for not wearing a hat.... you are a beautiful girl and we love your acapella smile! Thanks again. Judy & Richard W, Utah

Thanks for hanging out at CTO this weekend and spending some time watching us sit on a hill and wait for parts / helpers. Johnny Morris is a big part of the community here with a lot of awesome properties / business ventures. Our Bass Pro may not be the largest, but its the original. Springfield MO is also home to O'Reilly Auto Parts and Prime Trucking among other National Companies. I love living in the Ozarks. Come back soon.

We have a Bass Pro Shop here in Nashville, Tennessee. Right next to The Grand Ol' Opry. We also have a wonderful Frozen Custard place called "Culver's". So silky smooth, rich & creamy. Different than ice cream. I think ice cream has more ice particles. Glad you went with the vanilla for your first taste test. You reminded me of the 1st time I had frozen custard. Don't know why it's not to be found all over the U.S.A.

Over by that grotto/elevators they have ducks that learned how to feed the fish. And they have Tracker Boats in Ozark. And if you are doing Route 66 and in St. Louis , you need to go to Ted Drewe's frozen custard. Springfield is the birthplace of Route 66. Johnny Morris' dad owned the Brown Derby's and said he could start his bass fishing lures at that one nearby.

Alright the top main reason why Bass Pro Shops will be on Road Signs is Because Bass Pro Shops is considered an Everyday/Emergency Survival Lifeline Hub for folks to stock up on life saving supply's Fishing gear/hook Bows and arrows in case of a near world ending event...and i know folks say only crazies think about that happening but hey when something like that does happen that's when you will hear the same folks backpaddle like they never viewed them as crazy

If want to see one of the biggest turtles ever. Go to the Aquarium in Jenks Oklahoma They had a turtle it a tank there, a few years ago at least, that had a head the size of an American football. At first when I was looking in the tank I saw a smaller turtle resting on a log in the water at the top. I saw these boulders at the bottom and up the side then I looked closer and saw that one of the boulders was a huge turtle.

I'm totally glad you went to Springfield, Missouri original Bass Pro shop and Ozark, Missouri has a old fashioned Restaurant called " Lambert Cafe restaurant," a 1942 restaurant of numbers 3 . And has one in Sikeston, Missouri and Foley, Alabama and Texas . Lambert Cafe restaurant is the home of Thrown Rolls or biscuit or ball bread 🍞 of over 20 Foot throwing distance across the customers tables when customers are being asked for hot butter rolls thrown to them to catch it but no hot coffee and no hot chocolate need to be asked to thrown at customer LOL 😂😂 . Yes I'm over 50 years old in living in northern Arkansas a fisherman and camper man . My family and friends are living in Arkansas and Missouri and Kansas and Texas .

You missed a couple of the best parts. You should have gone down to the camping area Not only do they have everything you need for camping, the entrance to the auditorium is in that area. What auditorium you say? The auditorium that shows the incredible tank that the 4 story waterfall empties into (also the largest tank in the store) with many large fish and a live fish feeding where a diver goes into the tank and hand feeds the fish.
