You can get to the crossing with your bike but the walk ways are a little narrow on the island itself.. it’s only a small place.. 20min max visit to be fair
Thanks for your content, Rob! I'm moving to Bangkok from Da Nang for two months from October to suss out if it'll be a city I wanna live in more long term. I really love the places you go to in your places and what I can see in the backgrounds. I've been to Bangkok for a week before but didn't see much apart from shopping malls, ha ha.Thanks for making me excited about Bangkok by showing all those unique locations!
Cool video Rob! Nice green spaces near CentralWorld is a great find. Ah, you found one of my hangouts…Escape! Nice happy hour at 5pm, a choice of indoor and outdoor seating, great views, nice staff, pretty cool DJ, and a wide selection of food (I love the jalapeño poppers!). Actually EM Quartier is just an awesome experience.
Thanks for sharing with us Rob so much to see in Bangkok and all so easy but never advertised or really spoken about I’ll definitely would like to see some of these places. Great job as always …
Hey Rob if you love the turtle pond concept. You should check out this temple: Wat Prayurawongsawat Worawihan. As you go in, walk to the right hand side opposite the temple and they have a huge turtle pond. It’s like a little sanctuary for them. You can also feed them bananas and carrot. Perfect place to spend a Sunday just chilling for a couple of hours
@@ProjectBangkok aha. Nice. I’m planning on going back to Bangkok in October/November this year. As you’ve lived there for a few years now, when’s the best time to avoid the main down pour of the wet season?
I tried finding nai lert park last feb.. do you go into that fancy main building entrance/car garage from the street or was I completely in the wrong area? Great update on the new pocket park too. Ko klang was new to me though 👍I’ll have to put it on the list
Hey Rob, I know this isn't related to this vid, I'm a big fan BTW been watching you for a while. I'm gonna be over there in September and was wondering if you know a not too shady place to stay on the khaosan Road? Gonna be staying with family but doing my own thing while there and I don't wanna stumble in too late so I thought may as well get a cheap and not too shabby hotel. If you know any? Cheers dude. Fellow brit here.
@ProjectBangkok not sure what thr proced are, I've heard it can be cheap on that road. I can do around £50 a night but I was looking to get somewhere cheaper ideally.
Nice one my friend. Never been or heared of Koh Khlang!!! Need to explore it with my bike soon.

@@ProjectBangkok ha ha ha the drinking no; but output and quality has increased, I think?
Great video, nice parks and great sights to see. Greens spaces in Bangkok are a must see.
There’s actually a surprising amount considering how much of a concrete jungle it seems

Great video man.

Wow, you got my secret spot on top of Emporium, but I didn't knew you can walk down and feed some turtles haha
There were hardly any that day! I think they done something to the water so that you couldn’t see them
I have learned to drive and I got my driving licence. Soooo much cheaper than London. I want to hire a car and drive to Chiang Rai next month.
Oh that sounds like an amazing plan 👌🏻
