I describe Megalopolis as being a truly Noble film. The message of hope for a better world, humanity's capacity for greatness and Coppola's comments on modern society are at the heart of what makes it worth watching.

Because Francis has sacrificed everything just for this film. He has been working on this film for more than 25 years. It was his very passionate project. And this was Francis's vision
Now I feel like watching the movie...las weekend it was showing only during the middle of the day at my local theater here in Mexico City. Just a couple of corrections... it's more like 500 ft, not 5,000..... and the H. G. Wells' movie portrayal seems to be the 1936 version, not the 1979... I was around then, believe me!...haha.

I find it very arrogant to expect a rich magical scientist to solve all society's problems.
I feel like this movie would've been much better recieved if it was an anime film.
I can see how it might have been received differently as an anime film.

The thought and detail that went into this film is admirable. It's a shame it didn't translate well on the screen.
