Wife and I went to DisneyWorld 2 months ago and I built my light saber. $230 is very worth it for both the saber and the experience. Can't wait to do it again with my kids and grandkids.
237 for full price (including tax) is not bad actually considering the experience itself it's well worth the cost I'm definitely saving up for this and I already know my crystal is purple NOT because it's mace windu's color it's because it's been my favorite color since I was a kid I've had a connection to that color because of that
We did the experience in December. Got an 11 A.M. booking but they ran out of the carriers so they gave us an extra Kyber crystal. Went to the shop next to droid depot, paid $17 and Disney shipped it to us 7 days later. Experience is worth every penny.
We loved it! These supply chain issues are causing problems for the park, hopefully the resolve them soon. We've heard that the Droid Depot didn't have boxes. Not sure if it was at DL or DW but that would be hard to carry a droid in a bag.
That's the great thing about building one or going with someone who is, you get to join in on the fun, and maybe even offer a suggestion on their build. Hope your kids have a great time!
Great video and nice to see you didn't have to deal with crowds and long lines. Can you clarify about paying ? On credit card you can only pay for one lightsaber? I'd like to pay for me and my partner to both build our own sabers same time on just one credit charge.
Hi chanartguy99! At the time crowds were low, wish it was like that now a days. You can pay for multiple builds on one credit card, everyone must have their own reservation for this experience.

Hi Evie, we have had really good luck with booking restaurants using mousewatcher.com. They also allow you to create an alert for Savi's workshop. This service is not free, however they will constantly look for openings on the day that you want to go and then send you a text/email. I setup a custom text message alert for Mousewatcher so I did not miss it. Many times the openings become available in the middle of the night... But this has worked for many times. Good luck....
I’ve heard that lights continue blinking even while the blade is off, draining the battery. Another video said you can just take out the crystal and alleviate that, but does the whole thing have to be disassembled, or can the activation panel be removed by itself?
Hi Dan! Let the Gatherers know you want to mail it to your home. They will direct you to First Order Cargo, where a cast member can help you ship it to your home planet. Hope that helps.
Funny, TECHNICALLY Luke did not weld a green light saber. The only reason his blade color was changed from blue to green was because the blue color was not showing up well in the blue sky when battling Jabba's men on board the sail barge in "Return of the Jedi", once the effect was added in. Hence, seeing certain photos with Luke welding a blue saber in Jedi.
If I want to go on rides after building the lightsaber, what options are there at the park for storing it securely so that I do not have to carry it around?
Hi Galaxy! You can store your deconstructed light saber in one of the jumbo lockers located outside the parks entrance or ask the Gatherers to mail it to your home. They will direct you to First Order Cargo, where a cast member can help you ship it. Hope that helps.

I did this with my adult son, we had such a good time , well worth the cost to do it

Can't wait taking my daughter and son this month to let them build there own, I wish I was building one but atleast we all get to experience it.

I went in August 2021 and built my first Saber. Was it worth it? Yes yes it was. I went for the experience, not the saber.

They are costly, but the park was pretty empty that day.

It's made of cast metal. Great quality and really heavy, feels great in your hand!
