I've watched a few of these videos now and this Gatherer (Leto?) has given the best performance yet. Theatrical yet natural and well paced. Good job!

JD C sane I’ve probably seen like 20
I'd sooner recommend getting one off SaberForge or any of the licensed custom saber sites. Much wider array of customization.
The ones you get here are incredibly bland, you can't mix and match from different sets without buying separately, and the options are so few that you'd probably see one the exact same one before you leave. They also aren't built for duelling, and are more of a show piece rather than for messing around with, so I wouldn't recommend buying one for a youngster. They'll break them before leaving the park.
Also, no option for curved or dual bladed lightsabers outside of the pre-built Dooku/Maul ones in the store. You can't even them purchase them prior, take them into the experience with you and reconstruct It there. Could be easily done. The actors could even have more fun with it. "Oh you've found Darth Tyrannous' lightsaber, I hope it'll be used for good this time."
Shame. A few cut corners less could've made it so much more special.

Yeah, there's more than that in the room, and half full. The entire other side wasn't used. Regardless, this was at a private party where the crowd was already less than full on a regular op day. So they're going to make buckets of money off this thing when daily ops has to deal with lines to get in to buy spare parts.

Are these hard plastic or metal parts? The quality in the photos and vids I've seen doesn't look that great... How do these compare to the ones you can buy online at like saberforge or ultrasabers? Also, what about the sounds? The music was too loud to hear if they make sounds when waved around. Can you fight w them? Wondering if it's worth the money.
They are metal. The only plastic part aside from the tooth for the elemental types is the crystal housing unit
Plastic for the internal housing, metal for the outside and boy howdy does it have some weight to it. It's impressively great quality.
Can you fight with them though? It would be nice to know I can mess around without damaging it too bad
Gordo66Jr I've heard the blade is wobbly even when it's locked in place so I doubt it's good for any serious roughhousing.

@@UrSammich Michio Kaku of CUNY determined that one can kinda be built with present-day tech: you make a perforated ceramic tube inside of which you install a modified plasma cutting torch with an electromagnet running the length of the tube to keep the plasma hugging the tube. The only limiting factor is the power source, as plasma torches require some serious juice to run.
How annoying was it to carry the saber around the park the rest of the day?
Will Lambert if I’m not mistaken it comes with a carrying case but if not I know you can buy a belt to attach your light saber without the blade so I assume u put the blade in the case while it’s on the belt

Yes, you choose which color your blade is. They have four options in Savi's Workshop but you can purchase more crystals that are different colors as well in other parts of the outpost.
Basic guideline: red = bad guy every time, no exceptions.

You can take it through TSA. At least for domestic (inter-United States) flights. Not sure on international.
You can take the blade off and it should fit in a large suitcase.

Do not waste your time. We got there at 8:15 and were told they were fully booked and told to do something else when we traveled all the way from Texas just to do that. Now I’m going to have to settle for ordering one on eBay and jealously watching these videos until I can afford to go back to Disneyland which will be another ten years. The guy at the door seemed liked he got off telling people no and ruining children’s dreams

im sorry, and i dont mean to offend anyone who got 1 since the concept is good but......why do the lightsaber designs look....bland, comparing it to for example old republic lightsabers, or count dooku's lightsaber, hell or even the main protagonists lightsaber from fallen order has a bit of personality and identity

No and no. The Sith are closer to Nazis than the Jedi ever were and midichlorians are a cause/consequence of life itself (to quote Qui-Gon, "without them life could not exist"). The overall count refers to just how strong one's base potential in the Force is, similar to how your white blood cell count is reflective of how strong your immune system is. It's not a Jedi-exclusive thing. Anakin's I particular is so high because he was "conceived by the Force". The Jedi philosophy is closer to Zen Buddhism. Nothing I the prequels actually shows them being "naxi-like".

We aren't Jedi at the end of it. We're just people who have a saber that was built off the ideals of Sith and Jedi before us. It's the exact reason why you can pick your hilt style and blade color. It's about the saber, not being a Jedi.

This is cool, but not $200 cool. Those lightsabers should be $100, $150 at most, but with $200, I can get a pure metal custom saber that is designed in a way I want. Hell, my custom saber has the jedi code etched in the hilt with cracks, damage, and real leather grip.
I actually beg to differ. These are fully metal parts (other than the chassis and the crystal), then the blade itself is $50 (normally sold separately at Dok-Ondar’s), the saber sheath actually costs money to make but is given free like a shopping bag, plus the fact that this is an entire experience/show. I don’t know where you get your custom sabers, but the reason I would prefer this over getting one online is primarily because of the experience. Physically building your lightsaber and getting your own lightsaber crystal is so much more satisfying than ordering a certain design and getting it four months later. I actually got a Saberforge ASP saber, and that cost me just about $500. After watching so many videos on these lightsabers, I kinda regret blowing all that money, because I would rather spend the $200 for these high-quality lightsabers.

But it will cost you 200 dollars to build your own lightsaber.
CoDyy Storm they vary in price depending on which saber (I’m pretty sure) but I know for a fact that the blades are sold separately for $50, so that ultimately comes to around $180. But those are lightsabers that already belong to certain characters. These lightsabers belong to only the person who built it, and everyone can have a different combination. I know that the lack of parts can cause some combinations to be repeated, but it’s still yours. It’s ultimately a $130 saber with a $50 blade, and the crystals are around $13 and you get one with the workshop, plus the saber sheath (I don’t know how much it costs to make, but they have to make profits somehow even though this is Disney).
Hmm these are all metal parts , you also get a pin , bag which the bag is $50 also get a blade that is another $45 to $50 also crystal $13 item has many lights and sounds options depending on what crystals you place in making the $200 a no brainier
