I use to live in my van. In Portland. For 5 years or so. I liked it. The freedom was great. Driving up an down rt 101 was awesome. Going up to Mt st Helens was nice too.
I will! I installed a battery and inverter in my car , which allows me to power my fridge and appliances. I didn’t install it myself, but I’ll definitely make a video showing how everything is setup.
Thank you 😊. You know…you inspired me, too. When you told me you do gig work as a waitress to help pay off your debt faster, it made me a little emotional, lol. I kid you, not! I thought to myself “She’s trying to pay off debt and she still had the kindness to become one of my few patrons”. I’m already a patron for someone, but after reading your comment I decided to become a patron to one more person; to keep paying it forward, like you. So, yea…your comment really moved me. I believe in karma and I believe you have a lot of good karma coming your way. Thank you for all of your genuine kindness and support ❤️.
I’m not into this lifestyle yet but want to someday 🤷🏾♀️ it’s kinda scary .I work full time long hrs :( so I need my space to be very comfortable and functional. I’m just stuck as to what I want to do and I have no one like minded around me to talk to about this topic without getting looked at like I’m speaking a foreign language lol. Idk I just I love the freedom of it…,I love when you drop a video it’s something so relaxing about it and especially when you 🧑🏾🍳 cook. I wish you all the best on this journey God bless and be safe
Thank you so much 😊. I always appreciate your comments. I know exactly what you’re talking about when you say you get looked at like you’re speaking a foreign language! I don’t talk a about car life with anyone but Moosa and all of you on UA-cam! Watching videos of other people online who live in their car or van, and chatting with you all on this channel, has really helped me feel less alone in this unique lifestyle I have chosen. Also, I’ve been filming cooking videos and will upload one soon! I think my next video will be about how much money I spend while living in a car, then I’ll put out a cooking video. I hope you have a great week 😊❤️
Have u ever heard of travel towels? They’re microfiber and very quick drying. Also they take up less space than regular towels. My dryer broke and I have to hang dry things so I got some of these travel towels. I highly recommend them.
Thank you for reminding me about these! A while ago, someone left a comment telling me to try these towels, but I forgot to look them up. I just found some on Amazon that I’m about to order 😊.
I love your channel.... Can you do a video about clothes and how to keep them wrinkle free and how much clothing to have...I really don't see that on UA-cam
Hello and thank you so very much for sharing. This is going to be my first time living in a car in the winter. I have a few good blankets but do you have any other ways that you stay warm and how do you handle condensation if you have had to deal with it? Finally how do you keep you windows clear? Thank you for all of your tips and if you already did a video on these please let me know I'll go back and watch it.
Hello! I don’t do much to stay warm. I wear a thermal shirt and pants underneath my pajamas and sleep with 2 blankets. I’ll usually turn the heat on in the car for a few minutes before I go to bed. A ton of people have left comments telling me to buy an electric blanket, so I’m planning to try one of those this winter. You can also buy “below zero” sleeping bags. I’ve heard those are really good. Subscribers have also suggested I buy Hot Hands and put them in my socks when I sleep, and to sleep with a water bottle that has been filled with hot water. I’m planning on trying all of these suggestions this winter, so maybe you can too 😊. Regarding condensation and keeping my windows clear, I leave my windows cracked while sleeping, even in the winter. After searching online for ways to stay warm in a car, I learned that cracking your windows in the winter let’s moisture out, which keeps you warmer and also helps with condensation. It seems to work. Lastly, if the condensation becomes too much, I’ll turn the defroster on in the car for a few minutes, then go back to sleep. I hope this helps. If you still have questions, just let me know and I’ll try my best to answer them 🙂.
Here's a video showing how much I spend in a month living in a car ua-cam.com/video/_awRryCG9O0/v-deo.html and here's a video ua-cam.com/video/Hk0f-LDKw94/v-deo.html where I discuss how I make money. In summary, I spend about $750/ month and I make money doing gig work 😊.

Where do you park at night? What are some location and places that are safe to park?
I answer this question a little more in depth in my Question & Answer videos, but basically 24 hour gyms and shopping plazas 🙂
Could I ask how much you spend per month living in your car? Also, how do you make money? That would be my worry. Thanks
