Shade with her ability to vanish still has nothing on the average skavenslave with its ability to spawn right behind the player out of thin air and stab them in the back immediately. Coincidentally, the actual Shade experience is largely about losing half of your HP on those occasions, instead of the usual one quarter or one third. Still, nuking bosses is fun.
Yeah, it's always that one extra skavenslave to shiv you in the back. Happens to me all the time. We clear a room, everyone runs off forward, I follow them and get shived by the one extra skavenslave. Yay!
@@fosterbennington6405 Same. I can comfortably play at least two careers per character, the big exceptions being Kerillian and Sienna. Kerillian’s too squishy for my tastes and Sienna’s fire magic is nowhere near as fun/satisfying as the necromancy. If I pick the elf or wizard I’m going handmaiden or necromancer respectively.
There are only 2 types of Shade players: 1) The one who try her out blind, not knowing how half her mechanics work and having no idea BLUR even exists, die quickly by her stupidly weak defense, say she's shit and never touches her again 2) The one who takes their time to learn how she works, make a good build for her and realize she has the potential to be your best class in the entire game and play like 2000hours of her alone

Oh wow, I don't see the moonfire nowadays at all, considering how good the throwing spear is. I guess it is mostly just me sucking at it! She's also got 2 of the best looking skins in the game.

I switch between moonfire and Javelin as playing one build all the time is boring, Javelin is great for dealing with CWs and specials however is terrible with bosses, Moonfire is very versatile and synergies well with Shade Any weapons really, I use to be that guy who would follow the advice of "What tier the weapons are!!!" but I find they all have their uses over eachother depending on the class I use to also be a dual dagger fanatic however I always hated the fact I had constant trouble with hoards, Sword and Dagger has both the crowd and elite killing capability Hope this helps brotha
Burn overtime, infinite ammo, great against specials, synergies well with shade against bosses, Can damage heavy Armor units (CW and Beast man Standard), I prefer it with shade.
@@getinthis I see, personally I prefer shades volley crossbow since one volley can kill most things and the ammo issue can be partially mitigated with scrounger (each crit returns 2 shots and a crit volley will return 6 assuming they all hit). I might mess around with the moon bow though.

Played today again and can confirm the game still spawns individual lowest tier enemies behind you to cheat, darktide does it too haha
