Bwaws? (But why are we singing?) will now forever be my shorthand when dealing with confusing notes or if I've no idea what I'm doing XD When La'an starts singing. Pikes face is gold. "Shit. This is no joke O.o"
WoW! a Klingon boy band, now that's something you don't see everyday. I bet they all performed "Hegh'bat" after that (ritual suicide), it would be the warrior thing to do😏
Basically, they find a subspace fold iirc, and the thing can transmit stuff really fast, stuff that usually would take weeks to send a message to can get the message almost instantly and yada yada, nothings been working until Uhura decides to send a song through (Pelia freakin jinxed it by saying it was the 13th try), and cause they did that it made them like trapped in almost an alternate universe sorta thing in the fold where everyone sings, and it starts spreading to the whole fleet and the Klingons. And fun fact, it was inspired by an episode from the series Buffy the vampire slayer, hence the reference La'an makes at the beginning, "So are we all going to just suddenly poof into bunnies?" [Edit]: The whole thing is since its based around how musicals work, people are gonna say literally anything and everything while singing, hence Pike at 00:47 to 01:13.
@@mistimationstheir Emotions Trigger the Musical It's explain they just don't randomly Sing, They only sing when their Emotions is in different level Atlest that's what I understand
musicals are meant to move the story along. Best example was the Buffy episode. Each song explained something and moved the episode along. Where as this was "look we're singing about nothing. Aren't we hip, as the kids say. We got rizz yo."
@@AzguardMike I can think of a bunch of counterexamples in this episode off the top of my head, but that's beside the point when the plot *is* that they're all singing. How do you propose to move a plot about them wanting to fix the thing making them all sing their messy personal details at the drop of a hat along without them singing their messy personal details at the drop of a hat?
Episode should have ended with Q revealing himself to the audience as he winks at the camera
This would be the kind of thing Q would pull for his own amusement
this episode was fun! and I'm glad they did it once! let me repeat _ONCE!!!!!_ _ONLY ONCE!!!!!_
1:05 La'an was soon done 😂
She was 1701% done for the entire episode.

God I loved this episode
It made me lose interest in the series.

At least it wasn't a blue barrel
@@mistimations 🤔😐¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It took me too long to get the K-Pop joke with the Klingons.
How did I end up on Broadway 😮
I love this episode! ❤
I don't get the streaming service....I've seen much of the clips of them singing. Why were they singing?

@@mistimations nah, it was because they have a purpose or something.

I hated this episode 😮
Eh, it's the whole point of Strange New Worlds: do strange new things.
Well, not that strange, Buffy did it.
I loved it
You would have hated the holodeck chapters of the old series, i imagine. 😂

Cute but stupid for a Star Trek episode.
Don't start me on the space hippies and Spock having a music jam session. 😢
