He's actually trying to avoid green screen as much as possible and make things more practical. What a legend
Nolan is the only director I know or seen that wears a suit when working no matter where the set location is. Pure class.
He's an Englishman, I guess it's the culture
Martin scorssese too
There’s nothing classy about suits.
Martin Scorsese too. Damn suite makes a man so hot
@@seya_2 no he doesn't wear suit, always.
"Directed by Christopher Nolan"
The only words needed to know it's a good movie.
It's a shame that Oscar didn't get inception.
It got 4 Oscar's
@@rylni2448 but not for best picture
W
@@ahmet_10 I think king's speech was a good movie and deserved a Oscar for best picture
@@timarpmajumder2195 inception is better
Wow, it's amazing how many places they traveled to in order to do this movie! So cool, awesome movie
yeah, since in the movies it's the dream set-up, I think you don't really realise that these are real places they travelled to and real things they built (for example the Arthur corridor scene, I was just like well yeah gravity is fucked because it's a dream, never really thinking about how they really built something like that for the scene)
It's because Chris Nolan isn't a big fan of CGI. He planted the corn fields in Interstellar too shoot the corn field scene.
Kenya 🇰🇪 in the list
Can't u already tell by watching it?? Wtf
Bro even travelled to india just to shoot that 5 secs of bruce wayne coming out from that cave in tdkr 😂😂
A movie that should have won an Oscar in anyone’s opinion
It got 4 oscars
The Social Network was miles better.
In my opinion inception was the best movie in 2010
@@karangupta1825 Thank you i don't know how David fincher lost to tom hopper
@@karangupta1825 It's biography which requires no creativity.
1:26 that guy in the mask knew what was coming in 10 years
LMAOO
Tenet?
LOLLLLL
Covid is it?
@@eugenepup9229 😓
Acting looks easy cause they are all very good actors.
Leonardo Dicaprio overacted in this film
His performance in every film is unrealistic
@@karangupta1825 I kinda agree on Leonardo. I think his performances are realistic but he mostly plays the same character in his every movie. Although, he did some great movies. He has eight imdb 8+ movies which is tho most an actor ever have
@@part4963 as well as, according to many internet sources, Leo DiCaprio is the most overrated actor of this generation
@@karangupta1825 Leo is one of the greatest actors of the 21st century. He is easily the first/second best actor of the last decade.
@@part4963 How is his performance in Gilbert Grapes even remotely similar to his performance in Django Unchained? How is his performance in Wolf of Wall Street similar to his performance in Basketball Diaries? How is his performance in Aviator similar to his performance in Blood Diamond? Just say you don't watch his movies because Leo has showed his range numerous times. He doesn't need to impress people on the internet. There is a reason he is so widely respected by his fellow actors, directors, and critics.
Fun fact : Christopher Nolan didn't hired any second unit director, he did all the scene himself
What does this mean. Sorry idk the technical terms.
@@ayomade7496 It means he directed the movie himself without hiring anyone as his assistant for directing the other scene. Inception is a big 148 minute movie so it's not possible for any director to do all the scene themselves unless it's Christopher Nolan
@Dragonflag His director trademark
Wow!
@@ayomade7496 2nd Unit most often means footage without any of the principle cast. Like shots of Extras, landscapes, even explosions. They have a smaller crew known as 2nd unit crew
*I’m JUST NOW realizing Leo Decaprio is playing a movie version of Christopher Nolan.* 😱
How is he?
@@karangupta1825 😂😂😂
@@z3ny156 basically Nolan made every character involved in the heist based on the standard film production. Such as Cobb being the director (the one telling everyone how he wants things to go), Arthur being the producer (the one who lays out the basic idea), Ariadne being the production designer (the one that creates the layout for the whole job), Eames as the actor (the one imitating someone else), Yusuf being the technical manager (the one who figures out how all the electrical factors will work), and Saito as the executive producer (the job focused around accounting and any obstacles). Then there’s Fisher being the audience member (the targeted subject). So basically that’s how DiCaprio is playing Nolan, by being in his position
@@matteobeach4261 I think that's kind of a reach but I can see where you're coming from
@@z3ny156 wdym a reach?
Now I'm interested on Tom Hardy's take on "Gone With The Wind".
???????what
3:13 "haha great.... yeah so I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday"
underrated comment
1:05 Leo being a minor badass with the gun 🤩
cant believe this movie is 10 years ago feels like a few years ago when it released
The only one direction never use Green screen CG work
Always believe natural set to contribute the perfect caption
3:12 I love how he snaps back into work. Nolan is awesome
Movies are magic and HARD WORK !
One of the best movie ever in cinema history, perfect
Most important lesson: gone with the wind wasn't a musical
Nolan seems like a nice guy and a good director to work with 😃
He is
Leo made sure to push every single person in that scene 😩😭
The best film ever
Chris directing and guiding Tom on set gives me a 007 vibe. They both should collaborate to produce 007 movies. At least, Nolan and Hardy's 007 movie trilogy.
Leo looks like he's supposed to be Nolans stunt double 0:39
Stovka Nolan likes to make characters that are a reflection of himself, so Leo looking like Nolan was intended. In Tenet, the “Nolan stand-in” character looks like it’s Robert Pattinson
@@lokikoloki i know. i just thought it's funny how they look almost like differently aged clones
Everything is real.
One of the best Movies ever made, Period
"Gone with the wind wasn't a musical."
Pretty sure that was said by Tom Hardy
That's the first time I'm seeing Chris actually direct something
Why are these BTS footage compilation clips always cut so short? lol
Look how the armorer takes the firearms from the actors as soon as the shot is over. Thats proper.
I know there’s a lot of good movies! But this one is phenomenal! Like leo phenomenal!
And it's already a decade since this was released, where the hell these years go?
Then again, in the movie the two of them spent "something like 50 years" together in their dreamworld, so...
Leonardo makes acting look so easy cause he does it very well 😭😭😭😭
I aspire to be as good and greater than him 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
You will
@@ARACON_DATA_0605 stop the cap
U won't be able to
4:12 "Gone with the wind wasn't a musical"
Christopher Nolan is like a big brother of Leo both guiding as director & brother 🙂
And they look the same lol
3...2...1... Masterpiece!
Omg I'm in pure joy watching Leo acting fyuuuuuuck I love him
1:21 - the inception of the idea of COVID-19
I couldn't be like him, the first time the corridor started spinning I would be jumping around in happiness and smiling. My man was dead serious
Nolan is cool AF when directing
1:26 it's clearly that time works backwards for Christopher Nolan(Tenet), he gave us an insight of what's going on in our current times.
4:53 the hotel corridor
Nolan always flames it!
I love a great film like that.
Christopher Nolan, The Baby born in a suit.
Thank you❤❤
Best Director in this Century, best modern Sci Fi Film of all time for me
Pagherei oro per lavorare un minuto della mia vita con Nolan . Eccelso e geniale.
this man do not need cgi or vfx
the all natural set, wow
1:13 Didn't know the movie was made in 2020
the mask...lol
Well it's Christopher Nolan after all
They will be making 100% green screen movies now in the pandemic era.
False. Nolan still used an actual plane crash for Tenet.
LED Volumes actually :) the replacement for green screen
The most amazing heist movie!!
1:20 The guy in the middle is definitely from 2020 - TENET vibes...
Perfection
Amazing movie
Nolan is a Legend anytime anywhere ~😘❤💯👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘😘😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘👍😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Nolan is genius
Did anyone else see Joseph’s smile to Ellen? ❤
I saw this video just for see whether cillian is in it😜
Yeah....but sadly he wasn't ☹️
It's cool to see how he made this masterpiece but it also makes me kinda sad. I know he will never be able to make a film like this again. This film is the highlight of his career.
LegosubmarineCaptain nah his best are the dark knight and memento
Lmfao what are you talking about, interstellar and The Dark Night are right behind this
All Alone The Prestige is also an amazing movie. Honestly all of his movies are pretty great.
You never know! He is not only a brilliant filmmaker but he also has a brilliant mind. He has a new film coming next year called Tenet and by the sound of it it could potentially be on a higher level than Inception possibly on the level of Memento but on a larger scale.
Hold my beer TENET
Why nolan still not getting oscar
1:26 The guy with the mask was practicing for the real thing
I'd like to think TENET and Inception take place in the same universe
The Hotel Scene!
Oscar needs Nolan
god bless nolan
2:41 damn even a wave maker
no, gone with the wind wasn't a musical, he's right you know
The Totality from the Master
1:17 that guy is living in 2020 while everyone else is living in 2010
Leonardo DiCaprio is gorgeous 😍😍
how they can work, there is so loud...
Nolan is cool af on the set
Can anyone mention what's Mr.Nolan wearing around his neck ???
Who is here after watching the movie
മലയാളി like
Love that accent!!!
Харди такой красавчик ❤❤❤
Does anyone know the exact area of Tangier where the 2:52 minute scene was filmed?
nolan and dicaprio could be brothers irl and I wouldn't be surprised
2:43 Anyone know where this location is?
Can anyone please tell what is that thing haning in Sir Nolans Neck at 1:25 and same at 2:15
Its a video monitor
They should release making video atleast few months or years after movie release, nowadays, they show making as a part of promotion, it takes away the fun of watching a movie, while watching a movie it feels like shooting if u had watched making, i avoid watching making videos, just saying, they should release making videos after the mpvie release.
3:33 and 4:53 is what you came for
Thanks
I don't know if I focus on the great Leo or the great Nolan honestly.😂
wait where are the chair's.
3:29 Christopher Nolan funny noise and expression, haha doesnt fit his character
Akash Akks your impression is that he is always very serious and focused, so its fun to see someone like dat make a funny face and noise.
the man at 1:14 was living in corona way back in 2010
2:25 эта актриса поменяла недавно пол. Стала мальчиком...
For some reason this was so funny translated😂
I thought the behind the scene was all of them sleeping with computer wired to their brain
2:46 I want to see this set piece
6:31 who is this woman?😁
Am I the only one who thinks Christopher and Leo look slightly alike?
1:26 he has bad breathe
No cgi-cgi club
Who is here after watching the trailer for TENET
1:28 Ahead of his time...
Looks like Nolan didn't allow chairs in set......
Being me.😂🎉🎉🎉😂😢
