This is absolutely awesome, 1200 Rushing Yards and 20 Touchdowns isn't something to shrug at either. That is pretty damn impressive, no matter the level.
Silent snaps happen all the time. We do it to try and catch a defense not looking at the ball. Good ole Kyle here will never have the problem of jumping off the cadence
This dude is absolutely amazing he can run it up the gut or bounce outside. Imagine if he didn't need an interpreter and he could hear he would be even more AMAZING then he already is. He is really college potential! Good luck in the future Kyle! #kylelasherFTW
No school gives NFL scholarships. Heck most highschools don't have football scholarships or any that I'm aware of. But I think he'll make into a college no doubt. And he's already been noticed by the nfl. So who knows well see in a couple years. #23 best number you can get.
This kid is a diamond in the rough. Can he hear play calls or verbal communication by the team? No. But that also means he can't hear fans of opposing players trying to get in his head. He's the perfect player because he just plays his game and doesn't listen to anyone talking bad about him.
Actually, no. When a person is a Deaf, their eyes become superior comparing to others who is able to hear and their perspective goes very wide so that they would be aware of their surrounding. Studies have proven that, you can find plenty of research online.
Yo this ninja deaf and doing all this shit. I can't even get up to get the remote from 2 feet away. This dude is amazing, hope a collage wants him. He's very good.
awesome story....I think the huddle was actually formed at a deaf institution in Washington DC called gallaudet university. ..again I always argue sports is learning
Watching this in 2018, he is currently playing at Gallaudet University (a college for the deaf) as a freshman RB. His team (as of November 10th) is 3-3 on the season with Kyle having 7 carries for 31 yards and 0 touchdowns. He's averaging 4.4 yards a carry .
My football couches make me set the bench even tho i am faster than anyone on my team. I am happy for him he has changed peoples lives by doing football and showing that even tho no matter how hard it is you can be blind, or deaf nothing is impossible.
Kyle Lasher I know exactly what you are going through playing football and being deaf .It is hard not being able to hear the plays or the calls from the sideline let alone my own mom on the sideline cheering, when I make a play it can be tough with the rocky road of communication and the ability to have people understand what you are goin through like you is nice to hear.I live in PA too ha ha
We had a player with deafness on our team who's interpreter joined as well. By the end of the season she was so into it haha and we basically did gain another coach.
It just shows u that no matter what u wanna do . deaf blind? What ever if u put ya mind to it u can di anything. Cheers to the kid . he got a lot of heart.
I love how sports are starting to shape up this is awesome especially for future kids as in the movie the replacements there was a guy whom was deaf ad well!!!!
Grew up playing against this kid. He was an absolute stud on the field of course, but he’s a better person off, which is what counts. He also was a very good basketball player too
Damn he can actually use his disability to his advantage not getting scared under pressure by the crowd and he can also stay calm by not being able to hear trash talk and things like that
@@mikehorn7099 hey I am partially deaf, but with in the last two years a company I forget the name made a deaf shirt which is Bluetooth and you put it on and you can feel the vibrations.
if this guy does not get to play football in the future i will scream as loud as i can because he is a very deserving and caring person and im sure he puts things {mostly football} to his full ability
I was born profoundly deaf and I couldn't hear until I was about two years old and now I have a mechanical implant to help me hear and I'm am ver very blessed and I also play football
John Cockram Not true I have deaf friends playing on my team and they know when everyone else stops they should stop and plus, refs would understand that they’re deaf

this is such an amazing story, I'm just wondering how the snap count is handled when he's in the game. probably a silent count but in the video it showed the QB yelling the snap count so I'm not sure?
this guy is no joke,he scores like 2-3 touchdowns a game with over 200 plus yards
This is absolutely awesome, 1200 Rushing Yards and 20 Touchdowns isn't something to shrug at either. That is pretty damn impressive, no matter the level.
Fork Spon For real, most guys can't even do that with hearing and eyesight, This dude did it with just his eyes.
Fork Spon 1465 yards and 25 tds actually
Agree
In school he's much more intimidating in the good way.
S Whatever yes. And he seems like a very nice guy
Seattle's stadium wouldn't effect him at all, the perfect secret weapon.
Greg Willard Seattle had a deaf fullback.
Greg Willard chiefs station is louder
well now it is
What do you mean
@@willbiggar24 nope lol
Anyone else think this guy looked like he could be related to gronkowski
mario gonzalez lol yah dad
mario gonzalez ikr
mario gonzalez I played against him last year I'm a sophomore at holy cross and he was a beast
mario gonzalez true
G R O N K S P I K E
He deserves to play college ball because he's good and he should take advice from Derek Coleman
I agree, he works extremely hard to be able to know the plays. He deserves to play in college.
@Insert Name Here No, you're right but it's spelled Gallaudet.
@Insert Name Here they're d 3, that's actually where he plays now so that's pretty cool
He probably could have played D1 maybe d3 but probably not because of audibles
Insert Name Here fun fact, gallaudet invented the pre-play huddle, because the other team could see them signing.
Bieng deaf has its advantages for example you dont have to hear the annoying people in the crowd
but you also can't hear the play call
True but some people are really fucking annoying lol
Or you can have the best of both worlds and get a cochlear implant!
Colin Bock It ain't so bad in high school
i couldnt think of a username so true so then you won't be so nervous when the clock is at like 30 seconds and the crowd is screaming
his awareness has to be completely perfect for him not to be able to hear the ball snap .
he can see it
U cant hear a ball snap
Danthony Mitchell The QB stomps his feet
Silent snaps happen all the time. We do it to try and catch a defense not looking at the ball. Good ole Kyle here will never have the problem of jumping off the cadence
Here is a great man. What an inspiration to us all.
This dude is absolutely amazing he can run it up the gut or bounce outside. Imagine if he didn't need an interpreter and he could hear he would be even more AMAZING then he already is. He is really college potential! Good luck in the future Kyle! #kylelasherFTW

Plat I don't think that school give scholar ships

I hope he dose 2 but I think that they would haft to work on how to do audibles and stuff like they
@@CaptainJesse "NFL scholarships." Do you know anything about football?
if Derek Coleman from Seattle Seahawks is any example there is no reason why Kyle Lasher will not make it to the NFL
This kid is a diamond in the rough. Can he hear play calls or verbal communication by the team? No. But that also means he can't hear fans of opposing players trying to get in his head. He's the perfect player because he just plays his game and doesn't listen to anyone talking bad about him.
he looks like a younger rob gronkowski and i also like how he makes little noises when he's doing sign language
kid is freaking awesome. ........I saw him at one of his football games
Hes that good with no hearing, imagine if he could hear..... his awareness would be off the charts
Actually, no. When a person is a Deaf, their eyes become superior comparing to others who is able to hear and their perspective goes very wide so that they would be aware of their surrounding. Studies have proven that, you can find plenty of research online.
JoshiesWorld so when one sense doesn’t work the other sense becomes better?
I disagree also cause he wouldnt be putting in as much work to get better thats why most people dont use there advantages if being a normal person
Tin Usually. Basically it’s compensation for the lack of a sense
Lowkeeu cuz he deaf his reflects are better
Well I mean it's not the first time deaf people played football, hell the "huddle" was invented by deaf people
Really? Where did you find that out

awesome story....I think the huddle was actually formed at a deaf institution in Washington DC called gallaudet university. ..again I always argue sports is learning
This was inspirational.
this kid is amazing I feel like he could make the nfl
He would be a secret weapon in the nfl, it would be hard possibly with the sign language but loud fans wouldn’t affect his play.
Sometimes I get nervous when any player doesn't switch carrying hands
So cool seeing this in my hometown
Watching this in 2018, he is currently playing at Gallaudet University (a college for the deaf) as a freshman RB. His team (as of November 10th) is 3-3 on the season with Kyle having 7 carries for 31 yards and 0 touchdowns. He's averaging 4.4 yards a carry .

Damn bro i was doubting him until he started running and i was like damn
I played a deaf school they where good, but they felt sorry about them selves and took that anger out. Been an honor to play kids like Kyle.
The thing is, it’s crazy for a deaf person to even be on a varsity football team. The fact that he is this good is insane.
If he was on defense he'd probably get flagged a lot for hitting people after the whistle gets blown
John Cockram I think they tell the refs of his disability and probably got a plan to notify him
John Cockram not a lot of offsides tho
Maybe he just stops when everybody else stops
FailStreet no he just has to look at the ball
