- In this video I got my wife to react to Dimash singing SOS on the Singer TV show. This is the first time she has ever seen or heard Dimash sing or perform. As you can imagine, she was shocked!! She loves to watch these new singers and is so appreciative of any new suggestions! Dimash deserves much more attention in North America! Please share and follow his social media accounts. He can sing from A2 to D8, and his technicality is matched by his ability to emote the heart of the music.
I need to watch more to learn how amazing he actually is! I don’t understand the technical aspects but I appreciate he is unlike anything I ever heard
Dimash is university trained in Classical opera vocals to degree level, also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition with a top mark of 100%. Dimash has also been recently accepted into a Ph.D. program. He received singing lessons from the age of 5 when his teacher noticed he had perfect pitch . He was offered a place at the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down for a more contemporary musical career. He is a multi instrumentalist, more than 8 instruments and also sings in 12 different languages and has a range of over 6 octaves from a low bass A2 to a high soprano, plus a whistle register with his highest note so far being a 5 second D8 with vibrato. He is widely recognized as the best vocalist in the world. He speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is studying English and Mandarin and has conversational skills in both but not quite fluent yet. His performances are easily found all over UA-cam. Enjoy!

To answer your question as to why really talented foreign singers are not mainstream in the US it's because they typically don't meet what the US producers and radio stations believe Americans want to hear. By and large, they've been blocked out from the US market. But, with the advent of the Internet and social media platforms like UA-cam we are now getting exposed to great singers like Dimash from Kazakhstan, Diana Ankudinova from Russia, Angelina Jordan from Norway, Bogdan Ioan from Romania, and many more too numerous to list. A case in point is when Dimash came to New York City late last year, 40,000 tickets sold out in about 10 minutes.
By the way, I've never seen or heard anything like Dimash in my 69 years on this planet. He is indeed the best singer/performer in the world!
Not 40,000 tickets. New York's Barclays Centre only seats maximum 19,000 for concerts. 40,000 sold out tickets were for his Kazakhstan's ARNAU KINETIC VOICE CONCERT (June 29th, 2019). That being said.....Dimash was awesome......despite no appearances on US mainstream television (except for a very, very brief stint on The World's Best....which the show is not by the way they disrespected and butchered all their participants' performances.....lousy show's format and terrible editing not to mention disrespectful, condescending 'judges'), no articles on him on any US newspapers and magazines, none of his physical albums sold in US stores, not on any US talk shows, not on any US radios) Dimash still sold out his ARNAU ENVOY solo concert in New York's Barclays Centre (December 10th, 2019).

Lol, I've said it before, but I love to watch other women's first reaction to Dimash & see them completely gobsmacked & lose functioning because it reminds me of my first reaction to him. The brain can't handle what it is taking in, so it explodes & shuts off & every single hormone in the body turns on simultaneously & triggers a plethora of emotions that are too much to handle all at once. This overflow causes the tears, goosebumps, sweating, heart palpitations, loss of speech, & complete shock until I've completely melted into a puddle on the floor. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one out there that is affected this way by our Dear Dimash. :-)

You can hear the D8 close to the end of the song Unforgettable Day Gakku, that he composed when he was a teenager. He hits the whistle note for 5 seconds while he is on his knees. He also sings in 12 languages and plays 7 instruments. And since some people misjudge he is 6 foot 3. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

D'un Terrien En Detresse" was written for the French-Kubek rock opera "Starmania" in 1976, music by Michel Berge, lyrics by Luke Plamendon. «I've never stood with my feet on the ground. I wish I was a bird.. I feel bad in my body …» - sang by actor Daniel Balavouan in 1978. After Balavoan's death in 1986, few people managed to sing his masterpieces really well, conveying all the feelings and thoughts of the author. In September 2004, Gregory Lemarshal sang this song. From that very first performance of Gregory at the Star Academy, the history of the Little Prince has been counted.
