New subscriber! Thank you for a great reaction to Dimash. Yes, he has a very large followers & follows him to different countries for his concerts. Fans ranging in ages, teens, middle age & oldies like me. I’m 72 & I’ve been a Dear since 2017. I’ve been to 2 of his concerts New York at the Barclay Center & Hongkong last December.

LOL😂😂 I have one of those "computers with character". Mine not only has duct tape but a fan which grinds with an annoying backbeat😂😂😂 Computer is too old to get parts, they tell me, and new is just a ridiculous price.
May I recommend Olympico next? Olympico/Arnau Concert is a good version but only if you can access the english subtitles. Go Olympico/2021 if you cannot as it has easy access subtitles.. The lyrics are very inspirational but he is singing in Italian for this one
Another possibility is to try a completely different genre like "When I've Got You" MV. In english with R&B Rock mix. ( The video has a vampire theme, a lot of symbolism, as Dimash pokes fun at how his fans sometimes make up stories while desperate for gossip from this very private artist😂😂)

Thank you again for sharing another Dimash video, and for getting a relatively new computer. I had no idea you could be so funny. Dimash is dedicated to his music and has been since he was three. He began music school at the age of five. Half days in academics and the other half in music. He said he has never thought of doing anything but sing. He still does vocal training for 3-4 hours every day. He also said that if someone cut his heart open, they would see music. He still toured while earning his Ph.D. Years ago, Pattie LaBelle sang a song called "Music Is My Life." It must have been a precursor for Dimash. wait until you hear him sing Adagio, The Show Must Go On, and All By Myself from his time on the 'Singer 2017". Oh. we must not forget "Unforgettable Day", a song he wrote at the age of 19 yrs. Thanks again.

I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel and then the one from his Bastau concert. It was the 8th performance of this competition. I don’t think there are copyright issues, because the videos on this channel are already edited.
In my opinion it is very important to know what the song is about and why he sings the way he sings. This song tells a very sad but true story. You definitely have to watch this with subtitles. It's really terrible for Daybreak to be recommended without any context to this song.
Also, in the Singer version, he was so sick and had a bad sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there and many friendships still exist today. After the performance he lost his voice again.
