I'm hoping there's a steam workshop for payday 3. considering it's being made in unreal engine, it will be extremely easy for modders to get cookin right away
@@DonnieMouse Overkill and modding community are extremely close to the point that they even mentioning the possibility of mods breaking in patch notes, so i am sure modding tools and level editor in 3 is a very likely possibility
Payday strongly reminds me of Tf2, were the fans keep the game alive like a sort of video game Frankensteins monster. difference is, Overkill is actually working to support their game with content updates
Thank you for the shout out on the Pain Parable! Glad you enjoyed it. Going to be honest, when making it I was worried the story wasn't going to be funny, or even the dialogue so hearing how much you enjoyed it made all the work worth it! And it not being a "heist" is definitely something that I knew it had to be important. But you're right, it isn't for everyone and thats okay :) I wanted to do something completely different for a finale/prequel to the Pain Series. Do agree on the subtitle desync....syncing up all of the voicelines even to the degree it is right now was painful enough.
Thanks for showcasing the Village Farmer Sim - my short April Fools map. I’m proud of the artworks I created for it and it was a fun way to show off Diesel’s Visual Clarity. Despite flying under the radar, I have achieved my goal with it. I’m glad to see a video on it. Thank you so much. The Village Farmer Sim was created as a 5-minute experience to avoid making the players feel bored from the start. I am aware of the very few issues that surround this map but as a Late April Fools joke I have achieved my goal and I don't plan to update it. Genuinely Happy to see a video on it at least because there is barely any video on the Heist on the web aside from the one that Zohan made, this map is also a excuse as I haven't made anything custom heist related for over 3 years and that's enough of a reason to justify it. As soon as I'll find time, I will rewrite the mod page to reflect on what to expect from it. I appreciate and value your feedback on it. Awesome video
botched bank is what i really want in pd3, random things happening that can either help or hinder us would be really good for replaying purposes, and would make it feel like even though weve been through hell in the last 2 games, we still cant control anything that happens
So, a question for everybody if you could make a heist what would it be? My idea would be a heist that's fun to both farm and explore (and maybe a speed run loot percent) it would go something like this... Name: Sin City Day length: 7 Approach: Stealth or Loud Objective: You and the crew are being dropped off at the city's edge at night with the only instruction being, to go 'have fun' and make a profit. (think of Four Stores) Mechanics: On all seven days the escape is immediately available. all around the city are various shops and events that change each day, you can handle them in any way you want with the caveat being anything you do affects the next day For example: On day 2 there is a small drug deal between two gangs where the crew can steal cocaine (or meth on higher difficulties) if you just kill the two men and leave the bodies on the next day you will find that a couple of investigators and beat cops have set up a crime scene however If you hide the bodies you will instead find a parking ticket on the car that was containing the drugs. and if you only hide one of the bodies and leave the other you will find that a smaller crime scene set up and gang members of the body left out patrolling nearby. other ideas (so I don't bog down this comment with in-depth explanations) A pawn shop that on a random day gets fine jewelry, however on day 7 they always have the weekly take, in cash in a safe (unless they were previously robbed ) if the heist goes loud, depending on the number of deaths, cops will patrol the streets and businesses will be shut down (more kills, more problems) a gang-associated bar will have backroom arms dealings stores with safes and cash registers ATMs a randomly generated apartment building with random things inside (one guy has a stash of counterfeit money, another a safe, if there are signs of a break in security will be hired) storage units a dock with shipping crates etc. etc. (I have no idea how to mod so I can not make this in payday 2 don't even know if would be possible)
Was about to download Avalon's Shadow and the Constantine modpack but ModWorkshop is down for the 2nd time in a week lmao. God that website is so fucked these days
Funny thing: With the Constantine Scores installed, it sometimes just straight up crashes your game when throwing grenades. Thats especially fun if it only happens sometimes and the crashlog doesnt say anything.
Really makes you wonder with the possibilities of the modding community in Payday 3. I absolutely adore and praise people who creatively come up with new ways to play the games we love. Nothing but respect to the modding community in not just PD2 but every game out there!
I wouldn't say pain parable is ,,immensely creative,, since most of these ending are literally stolen from original game. But still its cool he re-made it in payday
Some was inspired from the OG, different methods, some are completely new. All have new dialogue or altered dialogue. I wanted to showcase the love for the OG while also adding my own spin to it.
Glad you liked and recommended my heist :) However, if Kknowley were to play it, I would wait for the update that's being worked on right now, as it'll change the map visually and a bit layout wise.
I hope on payday 3 it’s like COD 3 with mods. The blt stuff can be really complicated for new players, being able to download from workshop would be that good!
Quick recommendation: All constatine heists and 7 day constatine heist. If you like CH 4.0 i recommend dowloading rest of kyrios heists with "All constatine heist" mappack that has some extra heist that aren't present in CH 4.0 and CH 4.0 in one place and 7 day maybe it is a mashup of 7 heist but it's pretty cool experience
I like payday 3, and something that would be cool is if they take a poll every month what new/old heist to make. Also, I think they could make an "escort" heist, (Heat Street, Hell's Island, etc?).
I'm ngl imo I think the Valerio cartel units look kinda bad, but my redesigns of them don't look any better, no offense Kyrios if you're still out there.
I've always wanted to make custom heists, but I neither know where to start nor have the baseline coding knowledge to make even a basic mod. So for now, I shall simply watch in awe.
for making maps you don't even need to know how to code. here the only thing you need to have is time and patience. you're not gonna get stuff working on the first few tries and that's alright. previous experience with mapping in other games is just helpful, not a necessity.
If anyone is looking for something Payday to keep themselves entertained but don't want their game to crash even more, may i recommend to you: Entry Point. Entry Point is a Roblox game (hear me out) that is very similar to Payday 2 with a bit of Hitman thrown in there with enough different features and mechanics to make it feel like a completely different game. The story is much darker (and shorter) and best of all, the basegame is completely free. I can definitely see Kknowley having a lot of fun learning all these new mechanics and essentially learning Payday all over again. hint hint...
blud really skipped over Transport: Big Street, which is ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOD HEISTS OF ALL TIME. If you ask me, its a definitive. Its absolutely crafted, and will catch you with its many surprises. I give it my seal of. Highly recommend that you it. You'll be having time of your life.
If custom map makers are so skilled, then where is goat simulator 2?
Different location but have to secure 500 goats.
This but unironically
An improved version of goat simulator would be cool, the concept of that heist was pretty good. But, well, we know how the execution went.

Good comment
Was it always that obvious to hear you breath in before a sentence 😭, no offense tho
In my opinion custom heists are some of the most underrated types of mods. I really hope PayDay 3 will allow that too.

I'd like to see some official tools , for custom heist, making as well as weapons, and heisters.
Mods on console (even if they're just a handful of "developer-backed" or "official" ones) would be amazing.
Custom heists/map brings more interesting stuff to play with.
Been always thinking like that since I started to use mods in L4D2.

I will like to blame the bots for TF2's lack of content updates.
@@unwithering5313 nah, they just made valve "realize" the problem, yet they still do nothing about it
It's valve's fault
I transitioned from tf2 to pd2

Botched bank heist is my personal favorite modded heist. It truly would fit right into the heist roster if it had some cleaned up audio.
Mods breathe new life, simplest way of saying it.
