Hi Gordon, We are recovering nicely now. The market is back open, the park is open and our sidewalks have been washed of the mud and good for walking on our side of the big road. A lot of damage to people's stuff in their houses, but I think all the houses in our village are still standing. Today we washed all the roads in the village to clean up the mud. Quite an adventure this year. Steve/Missouri
sad that the flood is still immense and the new great restaurant with the beautiful salas is really badly affected,...Thank you GT for the walk around and update, appreciate it ❣️👌👍
I do trust you, Gordon, on your detailed flooding report. That is a hell of a lot of flooding and damage as far as the eyes can see. Good luck to the people affected.
God what can one say? I feel dreadfully sorry to Steve and his wife. They hadn’t long moved to their house near the temple on the river Ing. They are lovely people. I think we should crowd fund for them. Steve is a subscriber to this channel and between us all we could make their lives slightly less miserable. What do you think everyone?
Kok river up the road from us is much wider but not too bad. Maybe I should go out for a ride down the river towards the elephant camp and see how high it is.
Hi GT, it is all about survival the show must go on, just another day of normal life for the Thai people. Looks pretty different from when we were there, almost unbelievable, not easy for the people who have to suffer the aftermath, but they bounce back quickly. Greetings, L&P.
Water everywhere but not a drop to drink. It figures, I get the wife to agree that CR was where needed to be, contract signed on a new home, then CR turns into chaos 555. Get ready for some cold Leos GT!
So sad for all those impacted and kudos to those in the authorities and the general people starting to clean everything up. As you say, in the true Thai way the ship is taking on water, but the band plays on…..

Thank you for your videos of the floods. My house had 5 foot of Yom muddy river water.
If this was a dam breach shouldn't the waters be subsiding faster ? Thanks for the updates !

Ian take your drone with you and record it. And don’t forget your brilliant 360 degree camera. Hope you’re keeping well.
@@davidrobertthomas1515 Good thinking, batman. I don't think the 360 will be that useful but the drone will be. I'll put it on charge now!
@@davidrobertthomas1515 Hi David, hope all is well up your side, Greeting from Llew.
Sad to see all this flooding. Has it been like this before ?

No body can win the Mother Nature!
Hopefully by Dec everything will be OK

I am glad Chiang Mai city didnt get any of the Flooding
That is just an awful shame, Gordon. But yet they keep going. Unbelievable!
No one can fight mother nature for sure.
It’s a terrible shame but they deal with it so differently to us westerners and get back up and running so quickly
That’s awfull for them ,, and I’m guessing maybe wrongly they have no insurance
Unless your on high ground in Thailand , your on a loosing downfall , once the Chinese open the flood gates down Mekong , you you will be swamped
