The food is really good though. People underwrite Applebee’s for sure. My favorite is the Tex-Mex shrimp bowl and it is phenomenal. I’m very picky and I usually don’t like food at restaurants. I usually find it bland, and tasteless. I’ve even sent food back at five star restaurants. But that is something I would definitely order!
I've never been to Applebee's. The chocolate syrup you pour on ice cream is called Magic Shell. It hardens and you have to crack into it with your spoon. I'll be happy to help you with dessert anytime. Lol. Can't wait for part 2. Take care and be safe.
Hey Ken. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve noticed you always try coleslaw by itself, and rarely like it. But when you have it on a burger or sandwich you do like it. This is because coleslaw in my mind should be eaten with other food, in the same bite. I’ve never seen people eat it as its own side.
Fun fact, Applebee's microwave cooks there steaks and to give it the grill mark look, they throw it on a grill for like a minute and then serve it. And yes that's true, I used to work there.

Looks so delicious Ken! I love Applebee’s! I love their atmosphere, their drinks are amazing and the food is so good. My favorite is their TexMex shrimp bowl. We just went to applebees last night and my hubby got broccoli with his rib dinner . 4 of us went out and all of our meals were great . A great tip for brain freeze is I always exhale big breaths . The hot air coming up seems to help . I love nuts but not in brownies . But the brownies did look really good there . Great video Ken
The price for the steak and shrimp meal is insane. That would be the equivalent of about 30 CAD in the US and there is no way I would even pay that at Applebee's. I could go to Texas Roadhouse and get the same thing for around the same price or less including multiple sides and all the rolls you want.
For some reason that brownie reminded me of a restaurant I used to go to in 2005(?) when I lived in Pennsylvania that has FROWNIES that are brownies with a frowning face lol It is called KINGS FAMILY RESTAURANT. If you are ever in Western Pennsylvania I think it would be a GREAT choice. I looked it up and apparently there are only 4 of them scattered around that area.

I usually walk anywhere from 9000-15000 steps at work. Anywhere from 450-950 calories per shift. Lost like 25 lbs in 9 months by just eating less when at work.
We had an Applebee's that closed down maybe 15 + years ago. I loved their 2 can dine meals. Always used to get them when I drove down to the States. It was a shared appie and each person gets an entree and I think dessert too for only $20USD. This was back in the 2000s or 2010s.

In England we only use hp sauce for breakfast if we are having a bacon sandwhich, and we just call it brown sauce haha red for ketchup brown for hp sauce haha

I think Ken likes the traditional Coleslaw, the kind you get in Montreal with a Vinegar base, not creamy.
opposite for me, I don't like coleslaw on burgers/sandwiches but always get it at a side at like slim chickens and KFC.

You can do that with sous vide pre-cooking, sort of, but not overdoing the microwaving would be tricky!
