It's been confirmed that he can effortlessly and fastly travel through the universe, so why not simply going back from time to time to report on what you discovered about these infamous threats? And even beyond that... why would Vultrum not act on these informations, instead of living Nolan to do his thing on Earth? I think that Nolan originally wanted to wait until Debbie and mark had died of old age, but that can’t happen if mark is a viltrumite. Nolan wasnt initially writing those books because he was going soft. He wrote that in the delusion that Mark would eventually join the viltrumite cause, and in case something happen to him. That's why he said "our mission" in that one book lol
The general consensus about why Nolan suddenly shifted back to his Viltrumite conquering ways when Mark got his powers was because it was a confirmation that Mark was a Viltrumite and now could live for thousands of years instead of being a short-lived, compared to him, human. It Mark turned out fully human, Nolan was planning on waiting out Debbie and Mark, wait for them to grow old and die of old age, and then when he had no one left to tie him to Earth, he would have conquered the planet like he was originally supposed to. There were even instances where Nolan had thoughts on killing Debbie and Mark as shown in the Atom Eve special but him hesitating and not doing that was the first signs of his love for his family changing him. But then Mark got his powers, and that initial plan got thrown out the window and he figured that it was better to start the ‘Induct Mark into the Empire’ plan so that Mark didn’t suffer the pain of losing everyone around him to old age, at least that is what Nolan said.

Yeah, that confused me too. Black Samson is arguably worse than Immortal because he also just has super strength, durability, and flight, but no immortality and has the capacity to lose his powers, somehow. Plus, Samson also thought the best way to take care of the Sequids while Robot first stunned them was to kill as many as they could and they did so very slowly, while Immortal stated, when the fight began, to remove the Sequids from Rus which was arguably the smarter plan even if the wave of them made it hard. Another thing that raised my eyebrow was Mickey saying that Immortal would be a ‘red pill’ kind of guy. I almost wanted to refute that as some out of place weird political dig…but then again Immortal was Lincoln, the first elected Republican President.
While I don’t disagree, they definitely would have scanned him. I guess you could go with either it hid itself somehow or my personal belief that it’s and egg laying creature and has small eggs or something. Or consider it a plot hole 🤷♀️ I just prefer thinking of it with a reason
I wonder what kind of Bug powers Oliver will have. He is half Praying mantis and they can easily blend in with leaves and stuff. So maybe he will get a camouflage ability. i would also give him some form of acid projectile ability.
Nuolzot turned into the dog superhero from Mark's comics the first time they met, he was even flying and shooting green wiggly-woos, either that's a one-time thing just to catch us off-guard or that's just something their race can do, I guess we'll find out.
Without going into spoilers and just going off from what the show has presented us, I don’t think Oliver would have too many Thraxan-like abilities or traits other than the obvious hyper aging. Nolan did say that Viltrumite DNA is incredibly pure that Mark despite being half human is nearly a full-blooded Viltrumite, so maybe after Oliver reaches a certain age he will start looking and acting more like a regular Viltrumite than whatever baby Thanos look he is currently sporting. Then again, Nolan did say that Viltrumites are only allowed to procreate with genetically similar species so Nolan and Andressa was probably a first time of this happening so all bets are off.
The sci fi books were just him recording his journeys to aid viltramites in the future so that they can avoid potential threats. He never “quit” his original mission. He just paused temporarily assuming mark would never get powers. Then eventually Mark and his wife would die off and Nolan could resume his mission without having to worry about them. But Mark did get powers and he knew he would be able to just wait him out
Nolan never quit being a Viltrumite, he was fulfilling his mission duties by spending his time on Earth with Debbie and Mark. Mark's powers just initiated phase 2.
1:20 *Spidey* suggests Monster Girl retire for a while. It just reminded me, when we were introduced to her she told everyone she was 27 when this all started for her.
Why was Nolan keeping records of viltramite weakness? But also the thing about those creatures, how will they use them, either capture one and clone it to make an army of loyal beasts
I doubt it was intentional. He was probably just writing about his own life experiences, and many of his stories happened to contain threats to Viltrumites because a large part of what a soldier does is eliminate threats.
I think it had nothing to do with villtrumite weaknesses per se.. my take on it is that nolen needed money, so he wrote books, he didn’t know what to write about so he chose his own life. His normal missions are conquering different places with no problem, no action, so that’d be boring. So he chose moments of his life that would be interesting, times that he struggled. And in the case of space racer maybe he found the story interesting and knew humans would too?
My favorite part of this episode is after Rex gets up from being shot in the head. He yells at the bad guy to shut the f*ck up. That is the exact same time all these reaction channels are talking over what is happening and it feels like Rex is yelling at them too. "OH, JUST SHUT UP!" LOL perfection.
Before Nolan came to Earth, he was a Viltrumite explorer. The books are just a collection of threats to the Viltrum empire that he encountered in his travels. I can't say more without spoiling a huge thing about Viltrumites.
Solid episode, but it didn't make much sense that Shrink-Rae survived after being chewed and suffocated but Dupli-Kate died. I mean wouldn't Kate leave a clone elsewhere living a normal life in case something did happen? Bulletproof needs some more character development, he was non existent this episode.
King Lizard 100% didnt miss. Rex did get shot through the brain. Some think it didnt go all the way through but we see the bullet hole on both sides. If we get another special it'll like go further in on Rex's backstory. But he has far better endurance then a normal person. Him being able to walk off monster girls attacks was a early sign. Not to mention he was briefly fighting Komodo and Igauna by himself and was still able to keep going.
Cecil should’ve been monitoring that astronaut’s house for at least a year after his return… especially after a mission like that… his priorities need to be checked 🤦♀️
"is this lady a shapeshifter?" "yeah" ????? don't just make things up and roll with them! I'm pretty sure the awkwardness from Debbie when meeting April is because the whole joke is that the old lady *wasn't* a spy, and she just rudely turned away a kind old lady for no reason
they did the same thing with the lizard league talk at the start, believing they had enhancements when the only difference the team doesn't have super strength
I've seen a lot of reaction videos and Micky may have the best quip EVER!! When Nolan's books are revealed he said "What in the L.Ron Hubbard!?" 😂 Lot of people don't know that Hubbard was a hack sci fi writer, who thought he was Issac Asimov. When his cheesy sci fi failed, he turned to the psychology field. But his absurd ideas were dismissed by the real professionals, so he started a stupid religion. If by chance the "church" is reading this, come at me. I look forward to the fight😜
U know what’s F-up ! Is that the house across the street from Debbie is still taped off and has a hole in the ground after 2 months. I think Cecil plan it like that . Also I think Cecil grabbed the books that was left out on the curve .
Kate not making it against a dude from the lizard league that ís in universe considered a joke is just weird especially after taking a rapid fire laser and especially after season 1 hinting at kate prime being absent while sending others. Sequids officially overstayed their welcome, i mean cecil really didn't do a full check up on everyone from that mission specifically looking out for that?
I think the Normies dont give people enough credit in this show. Like Yes we keep seeing immortal go down but its always the biggest threats in the show, proor to 2x4 hes the only person we had actually seen go toe to toe with nolan and nolan is strong even for a viltrimite. Also its not so much that king lizard messed up shooting rex as rex is actually pretty much a super soldier hence why hes not super strong but can survive monster girl wailin on him and be fine a couple days later.
No they’re not “stronger” than before, they just have a proper leader this time plus it’s the entire lizard league vs the weakest guardians. No clue why you guys thought that 3 guardians could take out a literal fucking bane.
*Micki seems like he spends way too much time on Reddit the way he reacts to immortal and how did Chris hate Rex in the first season, other than cheating he just came of as a cocky play boy*
I can't believe someone as paranoid as Cecil didn't scan that astronaut immediately for contamination.
Yeah, that's one of those moments even in the comic that kind of feels like a plot hole or at least very much out of character for Cecil.

19:20 shoutouts to the strongest woman I know...my niece, who was shot in the head on 2.2.2022 and still here to tell the tale. #ParrisStrong
In the comics Kate's Original number is 0 she's off in hiding she's alive
Really needed that message at the beginning ❤thanks Surge
My favorite part of this episode is after Rex gets up from being shot in the head. He yells at the bad guy to shut the f*ck up. That is the exact same time all these reaction channels are talking over what is happening and it feels like Rex is yelling at them too.
"OH, JUST SHUT UP!"
LOL perfection.
18:41 it is a Walking Dead reference, as in Robert Kirkman... involved in both shows.
17:55. I didn't know they would slide an Alien: Romulus teaser in here!😂
Are you telling me the military didn't check the astronaut over to make sure he wasn't carrying any baby sequids?
Before Nolan came to Earth, he was a Viltrumite explorer. The books are just a collection of threats to the Viltrum empire that he encountered in his travels. I can't say more without spoiling a huge thing about Viltrumites.
2:07 Holy shit Pat whimpering "He was my favorite". I don't know why that made me laugh, I guess I'm so used to his trolling but damn that was funny.
Rick already knew. He got turned into a cyborg by the other guy in Season 1
Fun fact shrinking rae was actually supposed to die there, but they changed it from the comics
NICE Spidey with the Phineas Gage ref! Hahaha
Im so glad Rex survived! I really thought we had to wait a week all just to get killed 🥹
Rick was made into part machine by DA. He knows he's a cyborg. They just removed the basic metal bits and covered him in flesh.
THANKS for this, Normies!!!!
Immortal got Kate because he too knows what its like to die over and over again.
The amount of abuse you give the Thraxans for no reason is brutal.
My boy Suraj looks like Chris d'elia 😂😂
I needed to hear it. Thanks Suraj
IT'S MEVE TIME BABY FUCK YEAH
Add this episode to the playlist please
Chris, it's space. _Everything_ goes forever. Plus it's literally called the *_Infinity_* Ray. Jesus Christ. 🤦🏼♂️
lasers don't. Just bouncing one off of the moon reflector almost completely depletes its energy by the time it returns to Earth.
Allen was super jacked this episode. I shouldn’t be attracted to an alien, right?😂
King Lizard 100% didnt miss.
Cecil should’ve been monitoring that astronaut’s house for at least a year after his return… especially after a mission like that… his priorities need to be checked 🤦♀️
wow you guys were fast with this one
The beard was indeed real
i love the big iron ray
Rex is a fuckin BAD ASS HOLY FRACKIN SHMIT
"is this lady a shapeshifter?"
"yeah"
????? don't just make things up and roll with them!
When Nolan's books are revealed he said "What in the L.Ron Hubbard!?" 😂
Lot of people don't know that Hubbard was a hack sci fi writer, who thought he was Issac Asimov.
When his cheesy sci fi failed, he turned to the psychology field. But his absurd ideas were dismissed by the real professionals, so he started a stupid religion.
If by chance the "church" is reading this, come at me. I look forward to the fight😜
This crew is oblivious to the X-men 97 series, it makes me laugh. They are reacting on young justice but not a single mention of X-men. 😂😂😂
Flanders is a Viltrumite confirmed....
Great reaction!
Shapesmith is a dummy. He kept one as a pet in the guys house.
Are you guys gonna react to X-Men ‘97?
Wait, 2x06? Not 2x05? They already released Ep2 of Part 2 already? Damn I gotta check it out
Eve have been THIRSTING for Invincible since when she was dating Rex, now she might find a leak to squeeze in
31:15 where's the hate for Immortal been coming from these last two episodes? 😅
He really dead. ☠️. He wah my favorite.
😂😂😂😂😂😂. He was in shock
Lets give a little grace to cecil he is doing shady shit yes but his intentions are in the right place
Sequins probably lay eggs in hosts or something.
7:26 had me rolling😭
I honestly think that Dude Bulletproof is an alternate Mark
This immortal slander 😔
the lizard league weren't enhanced. the only difference is the team lineup they fought against doesn't have super strength
He was just writing the books for money. As part of his job.
Eve and Mark are endgame (imo)! We all know it! Im just waiting for it to become real😤😄
I dont trust anyone bc of Cecil. This dude is downbad to utilize Oliver
Now that I think about it, couldn’t Kate have left a clone back at the base?
Number 0 👀
So we just need to do the same thing that happened with Rex to Pat and things will be fixed?
15:53 Allen is funny😂😂😂
I don't understand why everyone thinks omni man always was a rebel he needed money and used his experience with it nothing more
3:27 😂😂
No they’re not “stronger” than before, they just have a proper leader this time plus it’s the entire lizard league vs the weakest guardians. No clue why you guys thought that 3 guardians could take out a literal fucking bane.
I know Amber is going through a lot but why the college beer parties?
They fun
Why did this episode feel like it was two hours long
*Micki seems like he spends way too much time on Reddit the way he reacts to immortal and how did Chris hate Rex in the first season, other than cheating he just came of as a cocky play boy*
