Allen was green while in the med lab because the lights in the room were all blue. Blue and orange/yellow gives you various shades of green. You can tell that’s what was changing his skin because his eye whites were also blue.
I hope the girls had in mind that Rex was mainly hitting King Lizard in the face with the stub of bone that was protruding from his forearm, _not_ with his remaining hand. Rex was more or less _stabbing_ the dude over and over. 😅
Maple's suggestion about contrast as a conscious choice for pacing, along with Arianna's thoughts on the cinematic tropes of sink vomit, got me thinking. I saw video around here of some animators competing to make the most unsatisfying animation. Imagine a horror or horror-comedy scene where you tease multiple horror tropes (like throwing up a stranger things pollywog) but hold short. You might be able to build tension by signaling what's coming, but still surprise the audience with when you pull the trigger on a jump scare. It might be useful to paint some anxiety into the a scene of a story. It would probably get tiring quick, but maybe a tasty spice in small doses.
Can I just say that Kate's powers are not a curse cuz that would imply there an inconvenience and they're not cuz she can control them but monster girls are because they cause an inconvenience.
“The seventh generation after Cha's seventh grandchild would be burdened with a family too large to care for... and it would drive him mad." I went find it for you. This is the curse that was placed on Kate’s family. It’s more of a curse on her family than to her. It really could’ve been a curse to her too but she chose to make it into a positive thing.
I agree with what you mean with the high school drama storyline between Amber and Mark feeling very slow paced and drawn out when everything else in the show is going at 100. I kinda felt bored by the end of that and there was no real conclusion to it. All the other moving pieces and storylines are super interesting. Angstrom Levy is a game changer with his Rick and Morty portals.
i ship mark and samantha mostly cause they would understand the job and not have to have secrets plus they could do missions together. knowing how the writers write though, i also think if they got together, magically there would be a bunch of drama in their relationship so i'd rather just not focus on relationships anymore. ~ Chad
@@Diegesis fair enough, I could see the problem of if they did run missions together while in a relationship they will constantly be protective of the other (mostly Mark doing it I’m sure) then the drama of the “oh I’m not a fragile person that constantly needs protection blah blah” and we get back to square one. Guess we’ll see how it plays in the next 2 episodes
The writers are infact making up for how shitty they made amber, because who we're seeing in S2 is how Amber actually was in the comics, after they realized that changing her to be unlikable so they'd connect more with Atomeve, was pissing people off, mainly because it was bad writing. This is her actual personality.
Mark and Amber really need to break up soon so him and Eve can get together. It's going that way, so idk why they're still tugging us like this is gonna work lmao
because it’s an actual relationship. in tv shows they make it look so easy to break up. instead mark and amber really like each other and want the relationship to work out so they’re trying to figure out a way to do that. obviously in the end it doesn’t work out but i like the way they did it.
You guys are so weird. You say you don't "like the relationship stuff" but are here rooting for Mark being with Eve. You guys have this specific animosity towards Amber, since the first season, and can't seem to accept she's written differently this season and haven't let that go since this season started. This story arc is actually VERY normal for two college students who know the inevitable is coming but are both trying not to hurt each other in the process. You can't seem to look beyond anything other than "this relationship is boring me." You don't want to give credence to these two and how very mature they are for their age because, in real life, most guys wouldn't be this caring. Put yourself in Amber's shoes for one second. This animosity thing is just getting too old at this point and perhaps you should look deep within as to what's bothering y'all about her.
Amber's just a fictional character, and they're allowed to find her (and her relationship with Mark) boring. I do as well, I just think everything else is much more interesting and their relationship was never entertaining to watch 🤷♀
🤡: “You should look deep within as to what’s bothering y’all about her”. ambers character has been TRASHHHH since the start. Literally enjoy this show so much but every time something with Amber comes up it immediately feels like a chore to watch it. It’s boring and a completely unnecessary part of the show. Has nothing to do with anything else you might be trying to imply
I’ve found I really the “characters in different conversations completing each other’s sentences” trope. I’ve always hating scenes that do that and I feel like the Amber-Eve & Mark-Art conversations are one of the worst versions of it. I’m blanking on the one scene that I really enjoyed it because the people weren’t exactly finishing each others sentences but instead just completing the same idea in their own words. When it’s word for word like this episode has, it always feels corny as hell.
Amber was always a shitty character in the comics and in the tv show i feel like a writer thought that they could "fix" it when it didnt need to be fixed. Amber is just a shitty person and her purpose was to make mark realize he can't have a normal relationship.
Idk man, i'm not a comic reader but barring the stuff in season 1 I think they've handled this really well. I've been spoiled on where this relationship stuff leads too but I think this is still a very organic way for this to go down. I wonder what about her makes her shitty to you though. That stuff at the end of last season definitely painted her in a bad light, but I think they have recovered her character well.
@@CSestp but what makes her a piece of crap? Like I get season 1 tanked her character, but even before that episode that ruined it she was mostly normal.
The last conversation between mark and Allen was so bad. It felt like budget RPG dialogue. They crammed in so much stupid exposition. “Wait! I still don’t know… BLAH BLAH BLAH” 🤮🤮🤮
Maple brought Rex back to life with the power of Cope.
Haha when he actually came back to life I was like 0o0 she's the chosen one - chad
He’s too funny to dieeee!!!!!
I was using copium so hard the episode before when I remembered that Rudy mentioned he had a simulation prepared for training.
@@Diegesis MAPLE AL GAIB!!!
Arianna apologizing for swearing, knowing full well she's gonna keep doing it, never fails to make me chuckle 😂
but is she apologizing for the fact that the editor has to hear the word, or just that they have to do a little extra editing? 😂
@@wavehellhole I think it's the latter but it's still funny she apologizes knowing full well she's gonna keep doing it 😆

Using the scene from Ace Ventura to censor Shrinking Rae emerging from
Komodo Dragon's body had me dieing. 🤣🤣🤣
Kinda hot in these rhinos.
maple's face when oliver popped up lmaooo trying her hardest not to call him ugly again
The editing on this video was on another level! Bravo!
Yeah, I love all the clever methods of censoring the gore.
The Ace Ventura clip was A+
allens always been orange lol. maybe you were confused by the lighting last episode because his life support machine had a blue light coming off it
"They came in the back end." 😏
The Fullmetal Alchemist reference LOL. I thought that too while watching
18:33 That was just the lighting of the scene clashing with his orange color 😅
I wonder if they realise that Art, the suit guy, is actually Firelord Ozai
General Kregg is voiced by Mr.Krabs
Mr. Krabs is voiced by the Kurgan.
2:42 Arianna knew what she was doing.
Allen was only 'green' because of the hospital lighting. That's it.
I hope the girls had in mind that Rex was mainly hitting King Lizard in the face with the stub of bone that was protruding from his forearm, _not_ with his remaining hand.

The Ace Ventura clip... chef's kiss!
The editing is top notch!
*chef's kiss*
It all makes sense next episode
First 3 seconds broke my heart and then they were like “no just wait “ Rex is S+ character now. KharyPayton is the shit in this too.
the editor is killing it rn

unrelated but Maple's makeup is sooo ethereal

Read the comic, explains the curse, but I agree with you.
