Great to see you in my back yard Andy. The ride is better in summer when dry for an after work blast with the option of further add on loops available. Thanks for the content. Best wishes for you and the channel in 2022
A ride is better than no ride... sometimes you need these tougher condition rides, to remind you that we're not fair weather warriors! Thanks for the vid!..
I’ve been out & done two of your rides over Christmas , Ogden water & Hebden Bridge both following kamoot files. Must say I really enjoyed the rides & waiting for the subs ride in January..Thanks .
HNY Ian, glad you enjoyed the GPX files, that's why I create most of my videos to share with the community. You wont find any illegal footpath riding on my routes and all are ride tested. I will do a video to advertise the ride this week, thanks for your support.
Happy New Year ,Andy.Guess what I bought - an allmnt 7 lol and love it .I’ve been out every day ,since getting the bike 31st December.Bought the bike from partridge cycles ,Essex and they have two left ,if anyone is interested.
Glad you like it it's a brilliant bike it will do anything that you throw at it Enduro cross-country downhill singletrack the more you ride it the more you will love that bike. Welcome to the club.. Now name your bike...

Hi andy , happy new year mate! I was wondering mate do you still run the same width tyres that the bike came with? Only asking because I was reading another owner’s review of the bike and he had changed down to 2.1 width and thought in his opinion it had transformed the performance of the bike ie for pedaling also battery usage aswell? Just keen to hear your thoughts Andy as you have had yours a while now! I have a allmtn 3 myself but fairly novice at the off-road! Thanks mate
It's a very perso Al topic really, as I rode alone sometimes coming off is more of an issue so for me grip always beats speed. I swapped the back for a 2.8 schawebly eddy current it's a think chunky tire with thick side walls, tons of grip and limits chance of punctures and rips. It means less rolling road speed. I'm swapping the front for a magic Mary 2.6, I'm all Bout grip especially in the peaks and lakes where its sharp rocks. So it comes down to this... More speed or more grip and less punctures. Tubeless is the way to go with inserts.
Thanks for reply mate 👍 yeah agree I think grip wins for me ! Im still recovering from wounds from face planting a tree on Friday at glentress spooky woods which I shouldn’t of been on to be fair with my limited ability 🙈 but you learn , anyway that was loosing the front with grip! So think I’ll stay with the wider tyres! Cheers andy
Have you ridden out in the new year yet?

Wow that bit between the water but no bridge - I think I would have skidded straight in! Looks a muddy but fun route 👍

Gutted you cut the negotiating of the bull field Andy 🤣 and let’s not brush over your comment about the possibility of some standard bike missions 🤗

Make sure your keeping weight equal on both tires.. Lean the bike over more to get to side grip walls while you stay standing up helps with more grip.
Thanks for advice mate appreciate that 👍 ps maybe 53 is just too old to start mountain bikes!! 😂😂
