On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you prefer more up close and personal dogfights consider the IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battle series and experience intense WWII aerial combat over famous battlefields such as Stalingrad, Moscow, Rhineland and Normandy. Fight in and against Russian, American, German, British warbirds such as the P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, Bf-109, FW-190, Spitfire, Hurricane and rugged IL-2 Sturmovik attack plane. You can also fly legendary SPADS, Fokkers and Camels in WWI dogfights over the trenches of WWI and discover your inner Red Baron! And all of this can be experienced in jaw dropping virtual reality!
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

There were incidents of uncommon chivalry in the skies over Europe in WWII. The most incredible one has to be the story of German ace Franz Stigler and B-17 pilot, 2nd Lieutenant Charlie Brown. Stigler, in his 109, rather than taking an easy kill, escorted the badly crippled B-17 over anti-aircraft batteries until it was safely over the ocean, and on its way back to England. The incident and the story of the two airmen was recorded in the biographical novel A Higher Call, and there are several UA-cam videos covering the incident, including an emotional reunion of Charlie Brown and Franz Stigler.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but I have seen you doing it multiple times in il2 too, when you have the altitude advantage you dive on targets and have an energy advantage, instead of climbing back up you get into a turn fight and lose all the energy to the point where it's an even fight. This time it worked out with the 109 in that turnfight tho. Anyways, everyone has a different type of fighting and yours did work in the scenario. Once again, good video, and keep up the daily upload, loving it!

It still wouldnt make much difference. 50 Cals are not cannon rounds. The only way that the Incendiary component would even have a effect is if the bullet hit something within the plane like the motor block which would make the bullet crack and spew the incendiary component outwards. If this doesnt happen any bullet would still just act like FMJ.

I honestly wish that ED would update the Merlin Engine sounds for the P-51. They sound outdated from the cockpit. Get the sounds from A2A Simulations licensed, or literally any other sounds.

K4 with MW50? Dive for speed and extend to level, get distance, and then altitude, come back with energy, stay fast and pick him apart…Two…just get distance!

109 did his job; kept you off the bombers he was escorting.

When you think that are you safe and land a plane with heavy damage, but the trees is in front and you say: "Oh no"

I always leave the gear up deadstick landing, ditch it...less chance hitting trees....ha

I feel like in RL that grass would have slowed your crash landing way quicker
