The badge elevator has to be the most blatant attempt to get you to spend more money. Only works on new builds. By level 40 all your badges should be maxed.

I just play on 'playnow' so I never need any VC. I also found the rhythm shooting does actually make shots that I wouldn't have got otherwise.

@@keef9924there’s no rng, the green window is always at the same point in the jumper but the jumpers speed can change. Basically slow downs and speed ups from 23…. It’s stupid but not rng

Everybody gets mad wen it’s the same game but reskin but gets mad wen 2k makes it different and more challenging u can’t please nobody in 2k25 and it’s probably one of the most balanced and complete games on next gen consoles
I make red layups regularly with a 75 lay, lockdowns get Randy Moss animations every pass, contest system is completely random, if you make 3 3pt’s in a row your jumpshots completely changes… Complete and balanced my ass the whole game is based off RNG.

@@DevoBuxkets I play on high risk shooting like 60% from 3pt with no rhythm shooting… mean while I’m watching people on normal risk hit whites open or contested just as consistent… How is that a skill gap 😂 Not to mention you can hit contested layups at ANY rating… I play 1v1 on ProvingGr mostly, every game just feels like whoever the rng decides should makes shots wins.

I stopped playing my career at like 2k15. The game is awesome in other game modes, but my career is trash.
2k17 was the best in my opinion. Rhythm shooting is for the birds, i remember the old days when you just push square ⬛️

They slowed the game down for the bums complaining about shit being unrealistic. That's why defense used to be OP because offense was OP so there was a balance. They need to speed the game up and take out all of the forced and extra animations put in to players down. Same curry slide and escape has been in 2k they just nerf it. Now that Offense is nerfed to shit they have to make the contest system trash to compensate. I see it as a trade off. 2k needs to make dribbling better. Make hand Placement matter for Contest. and Give more cutoff bump animations for more angles on the court.
And to say button mapping is cheating is ridiculous. Now 2k should have accounted for Xbox only being able to do it.
