Screw the haters man, this thing is already looking super nice, it probably some of your best work so far. Those axel mounts turned out really nice, take your time and this thing is going to be sick! Keep up the good work. I hope oneday i will be in a position to be able to let my mind run free and build something completely from scratch it looks like alot of fun and i envy you for that.

You don't talk too much brother. Thanks for these videos. ...and the project I'm working on, which I HAD planned fully before starting, is only almost halfway done and I started the actual build 8 1/2 months ago. Sheesh, it's labor intensive to do so much fabrication. That IS the best way; to start where you sit, and build around that, adding suspension axis points, and the drive train, and only then, completing the frame and body. You need to plan on paper, and finalize to do your BEST work though.

I don't mean to be an "internet fabricator" or anything, but in future builds, you should try to get the motor as close to over the center of the axle. That way you can move your seats back and shorten the overall wheelbase (short vehicles turn sharper). Also you gain more traction with the weight over the rear axle. Look at all the high performance UTVs out there. I've been building off road vehicles for decades now, so I kinda know what I'm talking about. Other than that, you do an awesome job building your projects. You're a true fabricator. Keep it up.

Came across your channel by accident, dreaming of having a 'dune buggy'. Watched hours of your videos now and am in awe of your skills. You make it look so easy. Fantastic work in your projects. I always fancied building a road legal dune buggy with heated seats and a little Volkswagen 1.9 turbo diesel engine and travelling Europe...some day. Awesome work, keep up the great videos!

Also, the seats are good, just buy dense foam and glue it in then put the seat covers with the light foam over it. The good thing is those seats will accept a 5 point harness and you're going to need it. I know you already have a bunch of metal and I don't know what it is but if you can and you should be using DOM or Chromoly for the frame and suspension tubing. Comment on the shocks - I know you bought them cuz you found great deal on them but in the end they have to be the proper length, spring rate and damping for what you are doing. I assume you are going to build your suspension around these shocks to maximize their potential. However, at the end you may have to swap out springs for proper rates and/or re-valve as well. My thought is if you have questions regarding chassis and suspension geometry and design is to reach out to some fellow youtubers that are at the top of their game in the off-road industry. Being that you are a fellow youtuber (with good numbers) you will have an instant in. I'm sure they would be happy to help you with anything you need and possible collaboration.

I've been subscribed from the beginning and you've made amazing progress in your builds. I kinda feel like it's just a matter of time before you're building a blown hemi powered rock bouncer.

Looks like a great start to an awesome project I do wonder how much rear suspension travel you will end up with, the shocks are good but the short CV shafts may limit travel distance I will need some popcorn to sit back with and watch it unfold.
AWESOME videos no matter how you make them.
