I have been doing adventure races, half marathons and did the Brighton marathon last year with 5 weeks of training stupidly lol but now trying to put some effort in on how to actually run and build that skill set! You're the kind of content creator i've been waiting for on UA-cam for years! The kind of weather conditions I hate are when there's very little oxigen in the air and the humidity hits you in the face the minute you start running! Congrats on your win btw!
For me is also the wind. I did run this year half marathon of Paris and it was very windy. Man, i see you run and even at that incredible pace (for me) you look like you doing a walk in the park. Good job and congratulations for the awsome youtube chanel. (Sorry for the bad english).
Congrats! Great seeing your videos, just got sidelined from any activity after some unexpected surgeries so watching this video has been great! Makes me anxious to get back to it!
Always enjoy catching your training and racing videos on UA-cam, the idea to race a sub 3 hour marathon while live streaming is awesome!, last weekend I might have experienced the worst weather for a half marathon in Christchurch NZ, it was freezing cold & raining hard causing some flooding on the course but still great fun.

Congrats on the subs Ben. I'm enjoying your videos. I'm seeing comparisons with the changes I've made. Only been seriously running this year and aiming for my first marathon later in the year. Definitely not 2.20. Just went under 19 mins for a 5k as my latest PB. Keep up the good work. And I hate wind the most as well.
Ben is responsible for my new shopping list. Though I'm not a vegan in any shape or form, never had so many vegetables and fruits in my fridge and cupboards! Enjoy both the running and food vids! Channel will quickly grow and rightly so.
Thank you for your kind words! I always say that everyone could do with some more fruit and veg in their diet, meat eaters or not. Some vegans I know are pretty unhealthy most of the time. You can be healthy and unhealthy with any diet really. Hopefully you see some improvements in your running as well, thanks for the support!
Well done Ben. Hope to see you both in Cham. We will be making our way around the 23k ( slowly. Our target to beat the cut offs ) but... Doing It! 👍 should be somewhere on Marathon route shouting out for you 👏
Well Done Ben - awesome as ever! Have you thought of the Hardmoors series - they're beautiful, hilly trail runs and are really good fun (slightly silly at times as their half is 17m) with a strong sense of community. There is a Hardmoors 30, 50, 110, 200 .... you could celebrate your increasing subscribers too!
Nice one! Congrats on the win! :) Would have been fun to see more of the course and race from a runner's perspective. I run almost all my races with a GoPro-camera on for the whole race. It does take some extra effort though and isn't exactly ideal for a good time, but many appreciate seeing the course and following along. No where close to 21k (or 24k now) subscribers though :) So grats on that as well and keep up the good work!

A few comments towards some of the runners behind Ben I don't think was needed. For example Toby is still young, so he might return to a high level and rival Ben one day ;) But Nice footage Ben and win :)
Awesome run, Ben. I love how you casually run along filming in your pink gloves 💕😝 Be really interested to see just how different the vo2 Max is to the Garmin. What is your worse weather to run in?? Wind, rain, snow, heat??? For me it has to be WIND!!
Ben Parkes my worst was in the snow pretty much a blizzard, that was fun 😂😂
for me heat
Has to be the heat, it saps you and you have to pay even more attention to your race strategy (fluids/nutrition)
Has to be the wind! Mainly because it's not great for my breathing/asthma either 🤪
Definitely heat
Wins a half while vlogging, those guys working hard behind you must have been well pissed 😂
They might retire themselves after this.
It looks like a small race so most of those running are likely just hobbyist like most of us. :D
I whould still be pissed if he passed me while beeing totally relaxed and talking to a cam😄
He was getting funny looks from the guys behind him at the beginning lol

Humid heat is the worst! Poor times usually occur with wind as well. At least I can draft behind/to the side of someone with the wind.
