Dems lied about Biden's mentality for all these years. VP Harris needs to be sworn in ASAP to save our democracy now. The dems refuse to swear in a woman of color. DEI hypocrisy out the window. Then trump will defeat Harris turning all 60 states RED. MAGA yay baby!

Can’t wait for more of the podcast!

Interesting how Fr Calvin explains suffering. My suffering with my disease ultimately led me to seek the Lord for comfort and guidance. Suffering is an integral part of living. It's made me who I am today and a better person because of it. Jake, you are an amazing interviewer.

@@mavisemberson8737plus as well, not allowing women priests does not preclude religious women from positions of wisdom - nuns for instance. Imo the push for women priests is deep down a mixture a desire for power and misunderstanding of what a priest role is.

Fr Calvin has given you some great advice. Pursue the Lord. Do His work. You'll find considerably more fulfilment in it. You're right though, the mental shift from 'I can do this and then I'll do God's work' to 'I'll serve the Lord knowing and trusting that he'll look after me' is huge. God bless you both.

Hi, Jake. I just found your podcast. Nice job, here, and congratulations on becoming a Christian! I'm sure it's an awesome story.
I just wanted to share my perspective on a fear you mentioned about death and losing oneself. I have concluded that my joys, my glories, my accomplishments, etc. are fleeting and passing compared to the glory of God and the joy of knowing Him. When I am gone, I will be forgotten in 10, 100, 1000 years, but God is eternal and His glory is everlasting. Therefore, my fulfillment and joy is in working for God's glory. Encountering God, especially Jesus Christ, will be the most glorious and wonderful and thrilling and satisfying and fulfilling experience. All those things that we love in our family will be fulfilled in Him, and the loss of all things in this world for the sake of being with God, will pale in comparison to what we attain in our union with Christ as his friends in death.

Man, this is a great score, Calvin Robinson. He's so well spoken...is it the accent? Nah, the dude is 100 on theology and speaks so eloquently with regard to salvation and the cross. As for politics, his commentary pierces and it's consistent with the Word. Big thumbs up!!!! (I'm gonna share on my very humble FB but this interview is a gem.)

I enjoy listening to Calvin, I hope I may share my own experience. I am a gay women. My father is catholic and I enjoy taking him to church, although I am not catholic. I don’t subscribe to the typical lgbt woke agenda. There are many gay people who want to quietly live their life. I don’t celebrate pride. It’s no longer what it was set out to be. I am grateful to live in a country where I can live my life without prejudice (on the whole).
I am totally accepting of being a minority. Like the animal kingdom there are some beings who are homosexual. However it should be that. A minority. I hope to live my life making a difference to those I love. I know Calvin would still believe I’m a sinner. Regardless. I still enjoy listening to him.

Same story here Jake. I'm also a former hostile atheist. This did tone down in my early twenties, as i studied history and became interested in the history of Christianity etc. This made me realise that the more juvenile atheist arguments are generally based on strawman arguments and ignorance of deeper knowledge. Still, I was then more of a sympathetic agnostic; interested in the cultural, moral, philosophical value etc but not true belief. Jordan Peterson was influential at that time (2016-18).
But I could never imagine actually really believing and practicing it. Still less listening to outright religious content with a view to this, as opposed to through the filter of academic presentation. Yet, this happened to me a couple of years ago. I still struggle with my tendancy to agnostic cynicism, but i can't imagine being totally atheist again. Because, in my heart i know I believe.

Wisdom is learned through pain. At least that’s what God has taught me and still is teaching me. We live in a fallen world. As Christians our hope is in the eternal not on earthly circumstances like death. I know that, but sometimes hard to believe it in my heart, but I know thats the internal struggle between flesh and the Holy Spirit. Great podcast keep up the good work.

The last few minutes especially were such important truths! Thr motivation of your heart behind what you do is the important factor in determining if something you do is "good", or "godly". You must be willing to let everything go for the sake of God's truth and what He's asking of you. And if fame and fortune are the secret motivation of your soul, it will be exposed at some point, by the choices you make in the tough times. Such gold!

My first listen to your podcast. Hearing your testimony and your honesty in so refreshing. Praise God for pulling you towards Him. I encourage you too keep close to your Lord no matter what life throughs at you. To see you in your early journey and Calvin a little further down the road, it struck me, how Jesus's love shows in different simple ways through men, who are pursuing a relationship with Jesus and Godliness.
I agree with Calvin, the Ego really is the key. Its what fallen man is driven by. Every sin stems from ego. JESUS had NO ego. He couldnt and therefore is THE ONLY example of how and why we should fight our ego. Something which I have learned recently which opened my eyes too Jesus's essence more, is the fact that His DNA was his earthly mothers but not his human fathers. I was never taught this. It opens up why JESUS never lived through ego. He was like us, but in a whole bigger sense , HE was still God and no human was like HIM.....The wonder that He lowered Himself, too come into human form ,still keeping HIS Godly essence, too get alongside us and shows us that He not only understands what we contend with, in our ego, but too show us through the most humiliating and painful death , that HE conquers our ego for us , too allow us too receive freedom from what sin leads us too become. Theres no other way we can obtain peace in oir soul.
When young , you dont want too imagine death as you have so much too live for.... But when Gods LOVE truly blows you away , more than any earthly love can, you realise that, you dont die, you close your human eyes, and open your spiritual eyes too understanding fully who GOD is. He gives us a new body which will completely suroass what our present bodys experience. Thats when fear truly disappears and contentment resides in your soul. Bless you amd youre dear brother ✝️🙏💯

Best way to combat in apologetics is READ the Scriptures. What is Sin, Read Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
Read it again. With no judgement, and just accept this is what GOD wants us to live like.
    Then Read the Prophets
    Then New Testament
Now read the entire Bible. One Book at a time. And then Re Read it.
The Bible will reveal its self each time you open the Scriptures It’s the Living Word.
We NEED Christ And the Holy Spirit will convict (trigger) when we have things to change.
Judgement: Please by all means, judge ME by the same standards. I judge myself by them too.
    The Bible is sufficient.

Very good to hear you respecting God's moral and righteous laws for Love to prevail ... God is Love and Light for enlightenment of Love Anointed namely Jesus Christ who is returning in these 'last days '
We need to know and understand how Love is not a cortisol stress hormone of/ from fear...this is physiology of how God has made us...the suffering comes from fear response which is the adrenalin response in our body...and this world system profits immensely from sin and adrenalin stimulants...time for change...

Glad I watched this. Ive always believed in God but never grew up following a religion. A creator is the most logical explanation for everything for me. Its too perfect to be a biological accident. Even science needs its 'one free miracle' ie. The Big Bang, before it can even begin explaining how life and the universe came about. I was drawn into the new age in my early 20s. In my early 30s I can see how corrupted that is and how they manipulate genuine people for financial gain. What I find interesting is the similarities between different religions and spirituality. Theres always this focus on differences when the similarities are profound. There is an underlying premise of a creator, who is perfect. Then some kind of fall, where duality, or good and evil is introduced. Evil cant create, it can only copy and corrupt. This world is basically a corrupted version of the perfect world god created. Our perceptions are constantly under attack and manipulation from the enemy (evil, satan, demons ect) The devil can appear as an angel of light. Like you guys talked about, the people at ground level dont know that the movement they are part of is a satanic agenda, they believe it is a good cause. The idea that we are by nature imperfect in this imperfect world, but have the potential to be saints...the world of spirituality would say we are all from 'source' so we all one ultimately, and have the same infinitie potential but are manipulated to forget that and create a world that serves the darker forces. Christ returning to earth is explained as our conciousness waking up to the satanic manipulation and the return of 'christ conciousness'. Masculine and feminine are powerful creative energies when they come together and society is attacking this. Making us ashamed of leaning into our natural energies. They want us to believe everything that is good for us in a partnership or marriage is the opposite. The satanic agenda inverts and perverts everything. Ive been very drawn to listening to peoples testimonys of finding chritianity lately. Anyway, thanks again. Great talk.

      (Matthew 6:33)
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you"
      (John 15:14-15)
“You are my friends if you do what I command. 😢I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business.”
      (1 Peter 2:9)
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
      1. Seek his righteousness
      2. IF you do as I command
      3. A royal priesthood
God told the Jews to “be holy, as I am holy”. Jesus literally tells us to seek HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jesus said we’re considered his friends IF we do as he commands. The body of Christ is a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD.
None of us are righteous apart from Christ. That part is true. However, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t seek righteousness, or ignore the commands of what has been declared a royal priesthood. So I’m not sure what you’re getting at here?
