honestly the map to me looks kind of like a mess with so many things being mapped to the wrong and quietest sounds and just an awful lot of weirdness as a whole
@@Mawntee hey it's nothing personal, just watching the video I found myself trying to figure out what some of the things were even mapped to until I noticed them being mapped to the less impactful sounds or background instruments
@@bird9188 None taken! That's just very typical of higher level Expert+ charts. I could just map the prominent sounds to one singular note, and less angle changes in between (which I did for the lower difficulty), but being able to pick out more sounds leads to more interesting timing and rhythm choices. At a higher level if you only map the prominent sounds you end off with a map that feels more like you're playing a "metronome game" than a "rhythm game". Also with how dynamic the note placements can be, with these more note-dense charts you can create the feeling of more impact and emphasis through different angled swings, and changing up which hand is leading. Example: The hand switches/repeated notes on the drum kicks just after "Stasis". Even though it's a constant stream of notes, that little flick you have to do makes the drum kick stand out a lot more.
This looks fun... but it looks like one of those maps I would miss on for no reason... and then die at the end
Yeah... I did that many times before I got this xd

@@Mawntee I've played my fair share of expert+ maps but I can't say I have seen any of them mapped like this, I just found it weird
