Just wanted to throw out a huge Thank You for doing these thorough coffee maker reviews. I was really surprised how few people are making them and most just do overviews that ignore some features. Your channel has been immensely helpful. Liked, commented, and subscribed for algorithm help. Gratz on going full time and hope the channel continues to grow as this is a very useful consumer research tool.
Thank you!! The manual instructions for setting the warming plate were very confusing (I am more of a visual learner). Your video was much more helpful :)
I am very happy that you are back. I hope all is well. i love your coffee maker reviews & especially your k-cup coffee reviews. you always explain things very clearly & your videos are very helpful. i am glad to hear that you will be doing a lot more videos. they are appreciated very much. thank you.
We purchased one for $30!! Brand new from Bed Bath & Beyond. Excited for it! We currently use a Breville Espresso Pro but sometimes it’s nice just to drink a standard cup of coffee without the technicalities of a manual espresso machine! Can’t wait!
Welcome back! Hope everything is going better. I think trying to make the same specialty drink across different coffee makers and setups would be nice. For example make it with a Keurig make it with an espresso maker and make it with a regular coffee maker just to see if you can get something similar across different models. I look forward to your next video.
Hi. If i may ask, do you use it every day? I am worried since mine stopped working after 7 weeks. I got another one, but i have been reading of a lot of people who have it and have had problems with it after a few months.
Ceramic is fragile and it doesn't look all that good and glass isn't user fixing friendly , the tubing inside has to be plastic because glass isn't easily moldable for small places and the average consumer can't do repairs on stuff like glass components.
Hello. Thank you for showing the brew process When select the brew strength. Once I am done brewing and I turn off the green light stays on. For brewing strength?? I just got it. Is this a defect ? I have only used it once.
Hi J.A.D. Welcome back, I hope things are ok with your family. I'm thinking about getting Mr. Coffee espresso maker with froth wand. I'm going back again to look at your review on that item. I purchased a OXO coffee grinder and I love it. Thanks for your review on that item. Looking forward to more videos and Take care. 🙂
just bought this coffee maker tonight before watching the video🙃. love it so far🙂. had an older ninja 12 cup with the manual pause where you moves a lever over to stop the flow of coffee. what a nightmare that was and i am glad they got rid of that feature and went with the auto pause and the 14 cups vs 12 cups is a win win as well🙂
Thank you for the great review! I need a new coffee maker because the touch sensitive controls on my Braun KF7370SI have become unreliable. Your reviews have been very helpful. I just ordered this model ($80 from Sam’s Club) because I like the removable water reservoir and warming plate control.
Nice review on the 14 cup Ninja. I was worried I had a defective unit due to the lid not sitting flush. I see your units lid also does not close completely and is a little off on the right side. Thanks again!
I'm so glad you said how much coffee ground to put in lmao Not a coffee guy but I wanted to make some thanksgiving joe for the girlfriend. I had NO idea how much to shovel in there lol
Thank you for the video, it is great and it is the reason I purchased one. I do have a question, during the brew cycle, if you stop it, does yours have a mis-spelled STOP?
Your channel is great. Just got the Ninja Hot and Cold based on your recommendation. I love it!! And the OXO burr grinder arrived last night. How did you get your stainless cup in the OXO grinder to not have the static electricity.
Thanks so much!!! Not sure about the static, I thought because it was metal that is why it did not have static. your metal container has static buildup?
@@JustADad Hi and thanks for the response. Yes. Grounds stick to the side of the metal OXO container, not half as bad as they did to the plastic container of the Cuisinart burr grinder. But there is some clinging. I am wondering if it is temp and humidity in my house. I live in Houston and the A/C runs non-stop.
@@lisateachey I have had people tell me to put a drop of water in the beans, I have never tried it but Lots of people say it works. other than that, not really sure. Sorry
Thanks for explaining the reservoir. I read a review somewhere and just the way someone worded it, made it sound like it kept water on hold for you. For example, you fill the reservoir up and only use what you need at that time. So if you filled up 14 cups, you can make a pot for 7 cups. I actually had a coffee maker like this (Bunn), but it kept the water warm at all times. You did have to fill it up every time you used it (to replace the water being used/trigger the mechanism inside to start brewing), but it brewed super fast. Unfortunately, I think a power outage got it. :(
A lot of reviews on Amazon say that the carafe leaks all over the place when pouring. But in your video it looked fine. How do you find the pour when the carafe is not full...maybe 1/2 full? Any issues?
If you pour it too fast then it can leak, I have heard from other viewers that sometimes the carafe plastics part is not attached the glass very well, but not on this coffee maker.
Hi. If i may ask, only the clock failed? Can you still use it to make coffee? i am asking since i have one that stopped working after 7weeks, so i want to see if i should go ahead with a another one of this model or not, since i have found a lot of people with the same problem.
Love the video! If you could share your thought's if you think the price hike for the CF087 is worth it for the average coffee drinker. I think the features are nice but note sure if I would get value. Love the Vids thanks!
Most coffee makers if you take a cup half way through the coffee is strong. It also makes the coffee weaker once its done. So I never use the pause on my makers .
Tfs I just received this yesterday...I didn't know why the classic button stayed on. I thought maybe it was broke..also I couldn't figure out the warming plate..😊
I can’t find any reviews for Hamilton beach coffee maker 46390C I live in Canada just purchased it. if you can find one can you review it.. love your videos thank you very much
Good and very thorough review. I'm drinking my first cups of coffee from this coffee maker that was delivered yesterday, and it tastes great! So as I'm reading/watching reviews to affirm my purchase, I've come across several negative reviews that focus on two issues: the reservoir leaks onto the countertop overnight, and the carafe spills everywhere while pouring. I certainly had no problems with the reservoir last night, and also no issues with the carafe, and I'm struggling to understand why some are having issues with it. Mine does not dribble or spill anything. Anyone else?
We purchased this about a month ago, and while the coffee is excellent I can confirm we cant help but spill every single time we pour a cup. Watching this video it looks like he uses a really shallow pour angle, which I plan to try tomorrow with a full pot. I am curious if anyone has a trick for getting this thing to not spill!
Mine does not stop the brew cycle when finished. If an hour later I refill the reservoir for the next day, It continues heating the water and filling the pot. I have used it several times and happens every time. Is there something wrong with mine, or is this a design flaw?
I bought a 12-cup a few months ago, but my son rarely uses it. Can you recommend a Keurig style, refillable coffee filter, coffee maker that will fill a 20 oz narrowish coffee cup, and has a smaller footprint for limited apartment counter space? I know it's a long-shot, but it's worth it to ask.
if you set the warming plate auto off to zero, but it will be on during the brew process. the warming plate heating element is the same heating element that heat the water during the brew
Hi can you tell me or any one here before we take unit back if the light on the brew button pulses while it's brewing ? Like goes in and out,all the other lights stay on constant. Thanks
Hi. I bought one of these coffee makers and I have found that the coffee is way too hot. I am not meaning how hot when it is brewed, I mean that when I drink the coffee it is too hot for me to enjoy it. Any ideas? I just want something that makes a hot cup of coffee but not too hot. And this is noticeably a hotter cup of coffee. I'm probably going to return it as I don't enjoy it.
The water will drip from a hole and directly goes to the carafe. So if you want a watered down coffee, this is the coffee maker just for you. Ninja does know the issue and put some rubber there to stop the leaking but does not work. Water still keeps dripping to the carafe, not through the ground coffee.

You have a great way of explaining things! Thank you. Showed me things I didn't know about my new coffee machine. You've got a new subscriber!
Awesome! Thank you!
I watched this *after* I purchased (oops!) but you gave me confidence that I made a good choice. Thank you
Good choice!
@@JustADad Thanks JustADad! :)
Do you have the video of how to clean how to descale it?
Be nice if a company would produce a coffee maker with all ceramic and tempered glass parts that only contact the hot coffee. No plastic.
Ceramic is fragile and it doesn't look all that good and glass isn't user fixing friendly , the tubing inside has to be plastic because glass isn't easily moldable for small places and the average consumer can't do repairs on stuff like glass components.
a ceramic coated heating element would make them enhanced! No need for descaling!
Good idea, Maybe someday, Thanks for watching!

I got this myself on black friday. Using it constantly. I love it. But sometimes on the rich setting the coffee comes out grainy.
The #4 paper filter is rated for 8-12 cups. If you put 14 tbs of coffee won't it overflow?
Looking for the info on setting delay and it is on a separate video (that I can not find?

How would you compare this to the Ninja CE251 12 cup version? Especially the taste of the coffee. Thank you.
The LED display on my older model started to fail, so I couldn’t read the clock to have a delay brew. This looks like a nice upgrade.

I just purchased mine! I notice when I put 2 cups of water in, it doesn’t brew the 2 cups of coffee. It brews about 10 fl oz.
Have you noticed this?
From what i've gathered from watching these videos, what they all refer to as 1 cup, is really about 5oz of liquid. So your 10oz is about right.

My first Ninja started leaking at the bottom after about 18 mos. I just replaced it last week with the Cuisinart before i saw this one.

What is the 1-3 cups for ?
the brewer will brew the coffee a little different since you are brewing a small batch. it will still brew all the water you put in the back
