Thank you so much for taking your time to show these machines and their differences. And I was thinking the same about using the "over-ice" setting to get a smaller serving, yet leaving it hot, so thank you for confirming that idea!
You do such a great job describing and demonstrating the functional features of the Ninja coffee makers. I recently bought one of these coffee makers (the one with the frother) and I have learned so much about it just by watching your videos on the Ninja coffee makers. Great job! Keep the videos coming!
Today I went to see how this coffee maker work because I am interesting in the frosted side and I think I am going to get is on sale at target $99 thank for the instructions
Just bought the PB040 on ebay for $75 and thanks for confirming what I thought about mimicking the espresso by using the iced coffee setting. Our Keurig Classic died after 5 years and we are really looking forward to Ninja because I've read it does produce a more rich, flavorful brew.
Same story as us. Our Keurig single cup died and wanted something that did a little more. We bought the PB040 at Target for $75 and when the Keurig single cup is $60 and you must buy the adapter for regular coffee extra ($12) the Ninja is hands down the winner and makes great coffee.
Glad I watched to see the difference in these with the omission of the specialty brew but your right about using the over ice feature on the Walmart version. Excited to see your coffee too!👍
I need this coffee maker because I like a huge iced coffee. But I already have a Mr Coffee Iced coffee maker. Although it’s nice that the one with the frother is on sale.
Thanks for sharing! Great tips! I bought one today and came on to see what others were saying. Question: you talk about how you love the concentrated coffee that you're getting on the over ice 6 oz setting. So, do you just not like espresso as much as strong coffee for your specialty drinks? I've been making espresso for lattes with the new Philips Baristina and I'm realizing that its a bit too bitter for me with an aftertaste compared to making strong coffee. I'm thinking that I'm going to like using the 4oz specialty or the trick you mentioned.
Thanks for all that relevant info. Do you know what model of reusable pods fit these two coffee makers, and where i can find them? I tried the keurig but they don't work. Thanks.
I just purchased the one with the frother. It starts to brew, pauses for about 30 seconds and starts brewing again! Not too happy with it! Also, I don't think it's coming out that hot!
I'd just brew the 24oz into a 4 cup measuring cup and then divide it into three cups. But if you mean three separate 8oz brews, then that wouldn't be good. You'd get three different strengths and the last cup would be so weak.
I bought mine with the milk frother from the Ninja website for $79 a few days ago.

I love this ninja I have the one with the frother. I left the keurigs had to take back two of them. Thanks for all you do.
Good choice!

I just got my ninja coffee maker and I love it thanks for showing how to use the whipper for foam

Very true!
I just got mine a couple days ago and I love it. I got it on Amazon for $99. Sorry to say it, but I like it better than the Keurig.
I almost got the keurig as well and found this one at best buy for 80 with frother

Coffee was made to be drank hot. Iced coffee is an aberration.

Three scoops for a 14oz coffee is perfect if you use the basket.
Looks awesome!
Keurig just died after 12 months! time to switch teams!@

ninja
Those are so cool
Thanks for all that relevant info.

This is my next ''keurig'' machine, if mine broke one day :)
Can I get only hot water with this? What if I put milk where the water goes can I do it and will it work?
Problem I have with anything Walmart, they don't last as long, post a video on when yours stop working?
I got the one on the Right for 85$ Canadian at Costco
Can you tell me what is the interior size of the reusable brew basket? Diameter and height?

If you fill it up to 24 oz can you make 3 cups of 8oz coffee with the same grounds?

What is the size of the cup for latte?
You didn’t show us how to make the ground coffee
Do you know if a paper filter that fits the ground coffee basket is available anywhere?
I bought #2 size coffee filters at Publix.
I thought you were going to try a pinch of salt
My PB40 from Walmart died after I made my fifth cup of coffee 😢
