*Thank you all so much for your company over the past few years! If you enjoy this collection, you can purchase it as individual downloads or as a CD from **www.beautyinsound.co.uk* 😃
I will do that, Richard‼️BTW, thank you for your idea for VC and all your other recitals and special projects. One of my favorites has been Anna Lapwood playing In Paradisum on pedal 2 ft. Absolutely beautiful! You give us old choristers and amateur organ builders reason to exist. I truly mean it. Say hello to Caroline and Hugo. Hugo needs the chorister experience before concentrating on organ. Just my opinion. Cheerio
Eternal Father strong to save , and Be thou my vision are two of my favourite hymns. The tempo and style of each hymn are very enjoyable. From God all good things come. Lord Jesus Christ Son of the living God, have mercy on me a sinner.
Never ever must we abandon these heaven sent hymns. No doubt the coming reign of Christ on earth will echo with these glorious hymns in praise to God the Father and God the Son.
I can't stop watching this arrangement! It is so inspiring. I believe these hymns were inspired by the Holy Spirit. I do sometimes shed tears and worship God as I listen. Thanks for putting this together.
Yes! Contemporary "Christian" Music, has eroded our traditional church music, virtually introducing Rock and Roll and worse, into the church. There are some good new hymns, but CCM has taken on a life of it's own bringing the world into the church. The musicians have become the stars, not Jesus. Another mark of the Apostasy is here, the downgrading of the church in our age.
Most of them are, at least in theologically/historically conservative churches. Mine in particular has strongly preferred these, plus the Psalter, over 99.9% of the more modern "worship" music, for reasons of aesthetics but more importantly sound, vetted, and time-tested theological content.
@@gordoncrawley5826 Ouch. This seems to be the case, not every time, but far, far too often. I've seen congregations that I think started well, but got dragged down by the combination of bad, modern, "pop theology" plus bad, modern, theologically void "music." God is Who He Is, not always who we want Him to be, and we live in an age in which music, "theology," and the general spirit of our times all seem to work together to try to remake God in its own, very un-God-like image. The cure: back to the Word of God, and back to music that both reflects His Word and also seeks to glorify Him. What we can hear in this beautiful video seems like a really good start.
Good Morning -- Just beautiful, Caroline sings like an angel, I am 77 and I sang all these songs in school assembly each morning, no frills just you and Caroline >perfect and if this was not enough its in super HD - Keep up the good work David ---- Thank you Terry
God bless you for doing this. Now,I can listen to the correct tune, melodies and harmonies of the hymns and also, learn how to sing them....Thank you,God bless you all.
Today I found this impressive performance of many hymns - what a treat, and I must say, what a fantastic voice. God has granted you some beautiful gifts in playing and singing! To God be the glory!
Refreshing and comforting. Wonderful hymns sung in hymn practice and morning assembly in school as I was growing up.Sadly lacking in today's "academies".
Thank you so much Richard and Caroline for all the hymns.I am an Anglican and have been for 84 yrs. now and fully enjoy all your wonderful hymns.I was a Chorister for many years in a big Anglican Cathedral in Australia and know and appreciate all what you offer to all we listeners.. Once again many thanks for the wonderful music and singing.
I think the beauty of these hymns and the way they are performed here can transcend the differences among those who love God and seek to worship Him in spirit and in truth. May God bless you greatly.
After losing my older sister Carolyn last Sunday evening and funeral preparations, this surely is a most welcome uplifting program 🙏 Thanks to you both !!!!!
Sincere condolences to you, on the anniversary of my sister's passing, I have a sense of what you are feeling. May God grant you strength, comfort and peace ✌️

Carolyne you sung that Navy Hymn so beautifully!!!! Having served in the navy and merchant marine, "Eternal Father Strong to Save" always hits me deep in the core...yes I cried! So beautifully done and a true tribute to all who serve and have served...
Excellent! Caroline's diction is so good that I can hear every word. Thank you both so much. We are usually too busy on Sunday and it is my luxury to listen to your programme on a Monday evening while my wife is at choir practice. God bless you both.🙏

I hear this hyumns during my driving or while doing some works. How beautiful are these hymns. Its sooths my soul. Sometimes, tears falling from my eyes without I realise. It is very nice and wonderful. Thank you Mr. Richard and Ms. Caroline.
Thank you so much,Richard for the music on the organ! And Caroline, thank you for the vocal accompaniment! The music was beautiful! I am enjoying it on Saturday evening in the USA. I miss the hymns as our church is using the modern choruses. I’m listening to “Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise”. What a beautiful song it is!
What joy to hear the message of these timeless hymns, accompanied by an organist! Carolyn, your voice is clear as a bell, and your facial expression reveals your joy in singing God's message. Blessings from Canada!
Thank you Richard and Caroline for this beautiful rendering of this timeless hymn and tune. Caroline you have a wonderful voice. Blessed by God for true control of accuracy and range. Most of the renderings of the hymn are with a collection of voices but this was a special change.
Thanks to You Almighty Heavenly Father for the beautiful gifts 🧧 and talents that Thou hast bestode upon us and all praises and glory and honor to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit one GOD for ever and ever Amen!..
Like the first light of dawn, this music opens your eyes to new promises and to all the wonders of nature. Evocative of powers beyond observation, these pieces pull the strings of the heart, attract nostalgia and awaken the loves, the skinned lives and torpor of tormented watchmen
Absolutely beautiful! Caroline, it is always a pleasure to hear you sing. This has been so comforting. Love all the Anglican hymns. I am an Episcopalian. We are just now beginning to attend church in person with masks.
And now over 11 months later as I’m listening to an unending succession of organ music UA-cam posts while doing construction work on my living room, I hear the unmistakeable angelic voice of our beautiful Caroline! What an amazing gift from God to me today! Thank you both again my dear loved ones.
Love these traditional hymns,Over the years hymns are seldom sung,It is uplifting to listen to hymns again, Thanks for blessing us with this melodious voice.
As a student, I used to be a member of a group of reformed students and on one occasion, with some fellow students we lightly discussed the hereafter ... One of our more liberal members jokingly imagined it to be a time of full-time singing of psalms and hymns ... Back then, we all laughed heartily, yet upon hearing and seeing this video, I truely hope and pray that it will be exactly like that: singing eternal praises to the Eternal ... Bliss never-ending ...
Richard rewatching and listening to these invaluable videos brings such comfort and peace to the soul it's very touching knowing that the work you and Caroline does means alot! Thank you

This is one of the finest organ and soprano combinations I’ve heard. Even when the organ comes up to extra power it doesn’t drown the singer. Lovely!
These hymns speaks to me so much.
