heyyyyy lovelies, thank you all so much for watching. One thing I forgot to mention is that this machine can be used with Silicone and I fully anticipate that I will be using it every single time I make Silicone Mould. I did not show that in this video as it was my first time using it. However, do check out Daniel Cooper as he did do a video using Silicone in the Resiners machine.
This is a great experiment. It is out of my budget and I'll continue to buy reputable resin that I know will not have any, or at least next to none, bubbles when cured. I don't do deep pours, but I truly appreciate you testing this. ❤
I like the idea of this for crafters that use small amounts at a time in open moulds and I don’t think the price is really a major issue but it’s plain to see that the pump isn’t really strong enough to pull a full vacuum but will totally do a job for most small crafters 👍🏻 nice demo Claire xx
what is a small amount of resin please, I am a newbie. also, couldn't you mix one small batch then add another batch on top if the curing has not yet begun??? thanks in advance. I am working with a 6 x 6 x 3 square adding dried flowers from a wedding bouquet
@@mmskadoo you could do it that way although I tend to cast upwards of 2L in a single mould so when I say small amounts I’m talking specifically about open casting so if you were in the market for one I’d say this would work for what you’re talking about 👍🏻
I saw the reviews on this one. I'm doing the same thing with an amazon vacuum canning pump and a 16 oz mason jar. It doesn't do a great job, and its even worse with thick resin, but it gets rid of a handful of bubbles and i only paid $25 total. That one on the video seems really steep at $100. When i get $100, I'm going to spend it on a homemade metal pressure pot.
Thank you 🙏🏾 so much for this wonderful video. I just recently started to see ads for the product on FB. I had no idea that it had been out for this long.
This seems to be helpful but I think I'll wait for an affordable pressure pot since I think pouring the resin still introduces bubbles. Thanks for sharing this experiment.
heyyyyy lovely ... Oh there are plenty Pressure pots on Amazon from like £40.00 ... definitely check them out xx they are way bigger and not digital but totally affordable xxx
*I* want a disco in a cup, too! 😅. I would LOVE to have this vac chamber...been drooling over everybody else's! 💕. I am totally phobe about new tech, which probably explains why I don't have a cell phone..can't even figure out how to turn the stupid things on. Can barely work my wee Kindle! 😂 TY for demo'ing, Claire! Glad to know that about spray painted stuff. Bet it's the metallic particles doing it. Might have to spray varnish over those things...maybe several coats to make sure they're all stuck down!
...nice review...and this product will have its customers... However, Liquid Diamonds has a product advertised as not requiring a vacuum or pressure pot...it does have a long cure time, but not needing more equipment is rather appealing...👍 Matt
I agree on all points, including getting a strong urge to rewatch Labyrinth! I don't think I would buy this machine at that price but I have thought about getting a preassure pot as my brother already has a compressor for his air brush that could work with one.
@@carolyn7326 Thanks for the tip! 😃 Unfortumatly the shipping, customs fees and whatnots to me make it cheaper to buy a proffesional vacuum chamber locally. As preassurized things can get scary if damaged I'd prefer minimal handling anyway.
I was definitely getting Lemony Snicket vibes at the beginning of the video but it all worked out well in the end! I think the gold teasel looks pretty 🧡 16:13
I have seen a few people use this machine now, including Daniel. It really seems like a great machine and I hope to be able to get it someday. Bubbles really annoy me!
I wish you could have shown the balls against a different background. It was hard to tell with the marked background. I really appreciate your showing us the bad with the good.
Remind me of the babe 🤣🤣 I never knew what a Teasel was either until I saw them in the woods ... now I see them everywhere. They are actually an invasive weed. Used back in the day by weavers I believe. To Tease the knots out of wool xxx 😍😍 they are also painful to handle super prickly and sharp
So happy George is going to be o.k. So scary when our furbabies aren't well. I just spent $2,500.00 for my little Duke. He had pancreatis. My last furry husband had it many years ago and cost $600.00 to fix him up. Im in the wrong career.
Hi Claire love your video 😍 i have lots of those thistles thats what i call them 😅, what happened with George? Is he ok? Sending love , thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Heyyyyyy lovely thankyoooo George is good x he is fine in himself he just has l8ads of raised bumps and scabs on his back x we think it's the flea treatment but actually could be anything
I purchased a vacuum chamber, only to find that Jesmonite AC730 (my main material) was too thick and gloopy to be affected by the vacuum! Hoping that AC100 is more amenable. Just to add, because Jesmonite is water based, a close eye needs to kept on the oil in the pump. When it goes cloudy, replace it. At least, that's what I've been told from someone I trust.
Heyyyyy Larry .... ohhhhh Vacuum chambers are not suitable at all for jesmonite n Ac100 😢 sorry x I've never tried but my turning friends have ... it plays no role
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Ah well. It's found a second life keeping my 3D filament dry. Which can be a real pain, so I'm quite happy I purchased it! Also handy for silicone.
Honestly, I am not impressed by this machine, and the price is too high for what it is. BTW, the plug that came with it is a common plug here in America. Thanks for showing us this machine, Claire. Now I know not to get it even if I could afford it. Stay safe. ❤️
I wish i could buy this, but i wasted all that money on their resin curing machine that i dont waste time with anymore...over priced food dehydrator in the end.
I found when looking at pressure pots this is just as expensive if not more than some of the pressure pots out there. Then again those do take up more room and this is much more easy to move around.
Ohhhhh yesss you can definitely get pressure pots that are way bigger for 50-100 .. they've been around a long time ... they just set up differently with tubes and valves and dials ... but definitely check out those cheaper options if you feel a pressure pot is something that would benefit you ❤️❤️❤️

Great video Claire 🤩 Thanks for the mention too 🥰🥰🥰
Always love to see new ways of killing the bubbles! 👿 If you put sparkling water in the vacuum and remove its bubbles, is it still water? 🤔🤔
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Omg Claire your hair is gorgeous.
Claire, what a wonderful video. I appreciate the fact that you show your mistakes along with the things you do perfectly. ❤❤❤
Actually ordering with your coupon and paying for fast shipping with the exchange rate was cheaper than paying on Amazon from the U.S. I'm so happy ❤
