@michelleholmes7582 I absolutely despise people who use the "but they were raised in a wonderful family dynamic" excuse when a kid goes rogue. While it's true that some kids are born psychopathic, there are always warning signs. Kids can't hide their emotions well, nor can they control their impulses. Kids who are born with such a disorder usually show signs at an early age, like killing small animals, hurting other kids on purpose, and finding joy in other people's pain. I've seen so many crime vids on "loving homes" with a killer in the midst. As a parent, you are 200% responsible for your children's health and well-being. Getting a child properly evaluated early on can prevent awful things from happening. That "grown ass man" was a child once. His parents allowed him to dive into cults, become a Nazi, and basically become an extremist. He admitted that his father is homophobic and has a short fuse. He feared his father's anger. He had to be closeted because his father would've snapped if he found out his son was gay. That's a pretty fucked up life to live as a minor. Yes, he's to blame for the killing. I'm not downplaying what he did. He deserves jail. He's a danger to society and himself. I have a feeling the, quote, "anger I'd never felt before" was probably his envy and self hatred rearing itself. He saw a happy gay guy who's loved by his parents, which made him feel bitter because he didn't have that. So, no, I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that his parents were wonderful, because they weren't. A good parent isn't a bigot. A good parent loves their kids no matter how they identify. A good parent is involved in their child's life. A good parent has an open and honest relationship with their kids. A good parent should be a safe haven for a troubled child, not someone to be feared. Sam clearly didn't have most, if not all, of that in his folks. I've seen this shit in real life. People I used to know had parents that seemed like saints in public. But behind closed doors, they were monsters to their children. My own mother was kinda similar. Kept up appearances in public, but abused me and my brother behind closed doors. So I know firsthand that reports in the media can be very one-sided on how "wonderful" a child's life really was before hell broke loose. You can believe what you want. That's your right. But I'm not gonna change my mind about Sam's parents. Info from Sam about his own father was enough for me.
I would add learning disabilities and mental illness. People crave above all community. If they feel isolated the internet is there to reassure there's someone cheering up a misfit. That's why it is said it takes a village because it really does. People tend to see this as evil and lock it away. I think we should rethink it
Seems like the people around him, society, failed him too. Not trying to defend him, but society has a responsibility too. I'm also lonely and isolated daily, also autism.. People don't seem to care about one another anymore, almost everyone is selfish.
@Don_KeyShot i totally agree with you. Please go to your local library if you can. Local swimming pool, if you can. I promise you, you do matter! And please, pretty please, mental health is health, so go see a doctor if you're struggling!
@@Don_KeyShot I can tell you that's a lie and your isolation is driving you to think that way. It is hard to get out and meet people, it won't be easy, but there are options. You just have to make the conscious choice to do it anyways
@Takeninthelight . I agree to a point. If you have people around you paying attention and helping you navigate things, unfortunately, not everyone does.
Menacing is a perfect word to describe Sam. This is what dejection, fury and self-loathing looks like. If not Blaze, then it would have been someone else. Blaze was indeed his name, a bright flame surrounded by love. x
Sam is absolutely not beyond saving. he needs care that he will never receive. i wager he'll join a Nazi gang in prison who will most likely solidify any beliefs about how being gay is 'wrong'. he'll always look for friends, acceptance, and approval wherever he can. if anyone cared about him at any stage and wasn't a conservative and/or Nazi, he may be completely different. he's still young, but he is now lost to the system. i hope he meets better people in prison. let it be a cautionary tale for those kids who are growing up in homes just like this... will you help them?
@@Jackalpup83 So true. He needs care he will never receive and if anyone had cared about him in any meaningful way he would have been a different person altogether. Prison is the worse place for Sam to be, in regards to shaping his mind or any rehabilitation and acceptance of his sexuality. He'll be treated badly which will only reaffirm his self-loathing and hatred of people.
What an awful crime - I can’t believe I had not heard of this case before! May Blaze’s soul and his family be at peace. It always stops me in my tracks whenever I see local cases covered on true crime channels. I grew up in Orange County, within 15 min of Lake Forest, and I attended OCSA/OCHSA, albeit long before Blaze did (I’m old).
Hi Adrian and Nero! I just got up to go to the bathroom (too much information, sorry guys!). It's 3.59am here in Melbourne Australia, but when Coffeehouse Crime posts, you watch! Now! Rest easy darling Blaze 🇦🇺❤
Sometimes, it seems that these mental cases are everywhere. Quite the contrary, they are a miniscule percentage of people, but they do a disproportionate amount of damage to society. It is important to maintain a proper perspective and yet remain ever vigilant to protect ourselves and our loved ones.
I’m not saying this as disrespect to the victim(s), but the guy has that 1,000 yard stare off the initial picture I saw of him. When I see people with, “that look” in their eyes. It’s a no from me dawg.
Tinder is not the issue nor any other platforms. It’s people. You can meet someone IRL and this happens. Be vigilant regardless to how you choose to meet and date. People that say things like this are blinded by the macro issues and only focus on the micro. Which deems them susceptible to danger in other ways. Things like this predates social media and online dating.
You feels like and good friend that we didn't see in a while a tell us a good story that happen in one of his trip, love the vibe and the video keep the good effort and happy that the moving was good !
Be proud of yourself. I've never gotten on tinder but had a different dating app. After meeting my husband and going through a very challenging divorce with him, still going 2.5+ years later, I'm honestly terrified of dating apps. People pretend a lot.
Your compassion for victims always shines through but it's particularly present in this story. I think you provided a beautiful tribute to a young man gone too soon.
I love when you cover stories like this one, the ones that just hit you right in the feels. Blaze obviously didn’t deserve anything that happened to him, I hope his family & friends are doing okay.
This statement can be picked apart from a million angles. It's not as black and white as leave people alone if you don't ascribe to their lifestyle. I bet there are a million things you wouldn't want people to turn a blind eye to because you would view them as wrong.
@@Nicole-kc1vxwhy? Why is it your business? If it's not breaking the law, like gay relationships as an example, then it's about bigotry and hate. Speaks volumes about your morals with a comment like this
Hi Adrian and Nero! How is Australia and how is Disturban? So excited to see what’s coming. The more I hear abour Tinder dates gone deadly wrong, I don’t want to even attempt it. Thanks for informing us about these scary and dangerous situations.
First picture of Sam gave me chills. He has this Anger in his eyes! Fixated WW2.... oh Boy... Really? Did'nt even think to clean the Knife? Or throw it away?!
What a chilling story! The thought of someone using a dating app to lure unsuspecting victims is absolutely terrifying. This shows how appearances can be so deceiving-pure evil hiding behind a charming facade. Truly a reminder to always stay cautious.
Never cried at any one of the hundreds of murder docs ive seen. Blaze's smile though, thats something else. Crying at the light that's gone out of this world.
I feel like part of Woodward’s “reasoning” for the attack is jealousy towards Blaze. In Blaze, Woodward saw everything he wanted to be: successful, popular, attractive, open about his sexuality. And as someone who has dealt with self-hatred (I’m doing much better now), I can say with confidence that few things hurt more than seeing someone who has everything you want, but can’t have. The radicalization certainly didn’t help. But many of the people who become so deeply radicalized are fairly miserable, angry people who just want to feel accepted.
Reminds me of my stepdad's sister she's jealous of our family we live happy and successfully while she lives miserable, wants to be better than us, crazy for money, and doesn't like being bested she cost my little sister her job 2 years ago just so her and her daughter can get off the hook for something her daughter did at the job, she forces her son to go to college just because we all go to university, and wants to make money by any means necessary regardless of what her kids do basically her family is our polar opposites of us
I'm from Orange County, Yorba Linda not far from Costa Mesa. YL is also very extremely conservative so I'm not surprised he has homophobic and racist views. Those views can be rampant here. Growing up in the early 00s (I'm 10 years older then these two guys) as an LGBTQI person myself was extremely difficult to say the least. My parents are also very conservative. Sad story. I think it was both repressed feelings because he was jealous that Blaze was openly gay mixed with his hatred for them. Also think him being Jewish (and the other guy being a Nazi sympathizer possibly had something to do with ut as well. 😢 RIP Blaze. Glad to see you're covering this case. ❤
People need to stay off of these creepy dating sites. They’re all garbage even the ones that want your money if you want to meet people go out in the 10 local events and find other means stay off the dating sites. I’ve tried them myself and they’re all trash and dangerous, weird people on those sites and they don’t have good intentions
I remember when this story was unfolding and thinking what a strange coincidence that the killer's and victim's last names were the same as the famous journalists that broke Watergate... Sorry about last week's video! :(
It's interesting this is the 2nd case I've seen recently where the person went from really normal looking to totally disheveled. It's like their disguise of normalcy got found out and they no longer have use for it so they're free to let their outside reflect their inside.
Autism is all about masking to appear normal around others while behind the scenes they're struggling big time with trying to live 'normal' lives. Sam's matted hair and disheveled appearance indicate he is mentally unwell and overwhelmed, trying to cope in a terrifying and violent environment, and most likely suffering from depression on top of everything else. Autism is a type of mental retardation and probably a mental health facility is where he should be, receiving help, unlike prison which will only damage him more.
Sadly I think most of Sam’s anger, his actions and his association with the groups he affiliated with, stemmed from his father’s inability to accept homosexuality. My feeling is this is more from nurture rather than nature. Human beings should NOT be allowed to procreate if they can’t love their offspring unconditionally. My heart aches for Blaze and his family but it also hurts to listen to how Sam was left to raise himself in a world with no compassion or love or positive nurturing from his parents. Imagine if Sam had parents like Blaze did. He could have been a totally different person.
Yep and the sad fact is Autism is hereditary so either one or both of his parents have it, and it is inherently about 'self' so his parent(s) wouldn't have been invested in his life as much as Blaze's parents were invested in his. Really sad all round.
I worked with many young people like Sam , working hard to integrated them into peer groups where they learn from their peers that their thoughts and reasoning isn’t right , giving them a contrast to whatever being said at home or online and for many of these young people, friendship and acceptance from peers is vital , or they look for acceptance in all the wrong places. It’s easy to be popular and fun when you’re accepted , loved outgoing and confident but take that away and you end up withdrawn and navigating a very scary world alone .
It really sucks big time when you've put all that hard work, time, research, editing and so much more I wouldn't have a clue about into something so important and you get censored, personally for no credible reason. I really feel for you ❤. I'm blessed to have gotten to watch it in full last week. It seriously was a masterclass in content creativity for us true crime lovers. Anyway, thanks for yet another brilliant new upload, it's just as interesting, gripping and in-depth. I personally think it was all of the above that made Samuel murder Blaze (racism, homophobia and jealously) he was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Unfortunately it was Blaze that became his traget. Blaze was his opposite he was open, honest, kind and trusting and he was taken advantage of because of his personality, R.I.P Blaze ❤. Keep on going Adrian, we're behind you 💯%.
I donated, this story is DEFINITELY worth spreading and this channel in its support. What a deep tragedy and loss of two lives. Can spot the irony here? Prison will be challenging for this guy, as he wrestles with his identity. I love that so many people are trying to create so positivity around this tragedy 💟👊🇨🇦🙏
Thanks in advance for uploading a brand new video 🙏 Gee, this Guy sayin' "Hello Ladies" is giving me the creeps...after watching this, I'd rather not go on a Date online...(!) (מסוכן מְאוֹד) That'd be dangerous wouldn't it...Anyway, good luck for you and Nero and you and everybody stay safe.
I haven't finished the video yet, but when you said Samuel hated the feel of shirts on his neck, I immediately recognized that he was Autistic. When you listed off some other things, it just confirmed it even more. Then you said "unrelated" but he was diagnosed as autistic and I felt I needed to inform you and whomever else doesn't know that those symptoms are very much related to his autism. It is a classic presentation of symptoms.
@olliedavis7848 maybe so but the rationalization is the exact same. You are more at risk of unaliving yourself in a car accident than having something like this happen to you. Same thing can happen to you by meeting someone irl too... Might as well give up on everything because there's always a chance to have dangerous outcomes...
Every corners of the Internet needs to be strictly regulated. And parents should keep their children safe with words & actions. I give my condolences to the victim's loved ones.
As a woman who was assaulted by someone off Tinder, you can NEVER exercise enough caution using these apps. Meet in public, and if they have a problem with it, they’re probably not someone you want to be with in private.
My nephew was also born in 1998 and also has an Asperger's diagnosis. I hope people realize such individuals are not generally dangerous, and are highly intelligent but can be obsessive and socially awkward.

So I know firsthand that reports in the media can be very one-sided on how "wonderful" a child's life really was before hell broke loose.
You can believe what you want. That's your right. But I'm not gonna change my mind about Sam's parents. Info from Sam about his own father was enough for me.
Lonely, isolated, online all the time, radicalized. Seems like the perfect combination for what happened.
Why can it not be both, antisemitism and homophobia!? Thank you for a horrific and great story 👍🏼
Maybe it was neither
Since Phobia is a fear, he'd be to scuured of him. Phobia's and Isms are played out.
What amazing parents, you can tell Blaze was truly loved so much may he RIP
@@myntndmarriage You are right. I will remove those words. Mea culpa. @Jackelpup83
I gave up online dating years ago and will never do it again.
Same. I only met scammers, psychos and bores. Definitely cannot recommend. Having much more fun with real people at real places IRL.

They are everywhere. Don't kid yourself.
I’m not saying this as disrespect to the victim(s), but the guy has that 1,000 yard stare off the initial picture I saw of him. When I see people with, “that look” in their eyes. It’s a no from me dawg.

Never saw the need to use it myself
Whatever makes you feel better
tired of unaliving the people you hook up with lol?
Tinder is not the issue nor any other platforms. It’s people. You can meet someone IRL and this happens. Be vigilant regardless to how you choose to meet and date.
People that say things like this are blinded by the macro issues and only focus on the micro. Which deems them susceptible to danger in other ways. Things like this predates social media and online dating.
It’s awful now. Since the pandemic it’s become absolutely terrible.
You feels like and good friend that we didn't see in a while a tell us a good story that happen in one of his trip, love the vibe and the video keep the good effort and happy that the moving was good !
Aw thank you! I hope you find this video interesting!

I never ever installed Tinder on my phone/pc or whatever. Never went to an online date. I'm pretty proud of me for this.
Hell, I’m proud of you too!!❤😂
Same. I don’t know how to feel about it tbh. Sometimes I think I should try though. But at this point prob not worth it
Bizarre thing to be "proud" of.
Be proud of yourself. I've never gotten on tinder but had a different dating app. After meeting my husband and going through a very challenging divorce with him, still going 2.5+ years later, I'm honestly terrified of dating apps. People pretend a lot.
not really. Finding people irl should be normalized again@@jonathanfell688
Blaze had the kindest eyes and a beautiful smile. Sad to take someone like this off of the earth.
I had to step away from True Crime for awhile but, I'm back and ready to binge! Thanks for the awesome videos ❤
What a beautiful person Blaze was. R.I.P.
Your compassion for victims always shines through but it's particularly present in this story. I think you provided a beautiful tribute to a young man gone too soon.
This case breaks my heart. People can be so hateful and evil. Rest in peace Blaze.
I love when you cover stories like this one, the ones that just hit you right in the feels. Blaze obviously didn’t deserve anything that happened to him, I hope his family & friends are doing okay.
What can’t people leave others alone? If you don’t ascribe to a lifestyle, move on!
What? and deny themselves the oppotunity to spread the hate that so enhances their pathetic existence? Never!

Really? Did'nt even think to clean the Knife? Or throw it away?!
Crazy eyes. Ugh. First thing I noticed. So unattractive. So big red flags. So alarms going off extremely loudly.
Dead eyes
I think the world should be focused on health and mental health care. Instead of all the other BS, reasons the governments try to make us believe.

@@VampyRagDoll Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that 😅🤐
Just added the same comment, before I read yours.
Reminds me of my stepdad's sister she's jealous of our family we live happy and successfully while she lives miserable, wants to be better than us, crazy for money, and doesn't like being bested she cost my little sister her job 2 years ago just so her and her daughter can get off the hook for something her daughter did at the job, she forces her son to go to college just because we all go to university, and wants to make money by any means necessary regardless of what her kids do basically her family is our polar opposites of us
What a beautiful bright light Blaze was...he was radiant, gone too soon.😞💗🙏
A very horrible and upsetting case. Blaze seemed to be an amazing young man, his family also seem to be very nice. 😢😢😢😢😢
This one really broke my heart. What a beautiful sweet young man taken too soon 🥺

Thank you for your thorough presentation.
People need to stay off of these creepy dating sites. They’re all garbage even the ones that want your money if you want to meet people go out in the 10 local events and find other means stay off the dating sites. I’ve tried them myself and they’re all trash and dangerous, weird people on those sites and they don’t have good intentions
And somehow people like this get swiped for dates.
I remember when this story was unfolding and thinking what a strange coincidence that the killer's and victim's last names were the same as the famous journalists that broke Watergate...
Sorry about last week's video! :(
The stones are really beautiful ....in honor of a beautiful soul
❤
RIP Blaze. Thank you Adrian 💠😢
I remember this case and there was never any doubt in my mind that Blaze's murder was a hate crime.
Could have been jealousy of blaze, shame about his sexuality, hate, isolation…so many reasons, we won’t know unless he speaks to say why 😔 RIP Blaze
6:08 Woodward and Bernstein? It seems those names are always turning up in the media!
Really sad all round.
seems like self hatred and denial played a part in this one too smh
I worked with many young people like Sam , working hard to integrated them into peer groups where they learn from their peers that their thoughts and reasoning isn’t right , giving them a contrast to whatever being said at home or online and for many of these young people, friendship and acceptance from peers is vital , or they look for acceptance in all the wrong places. It’s easy to be popular and fun when you’re accepted , loved outgoing and confident but take that away and you end up withdrawn and navigating a very scary world alone .
Hope Nero and you are having a blast in Australia! Much love from your regular viewer from India 🫶🏻

This dude's eyes look totally normal. I'm absolutely shocked he would do this!
When the judge said smart…It’s terrible what happened…but come on…not ‘smart’ hooking up with strangers on dating apps.

While Blaze's death is a tragedy, I also feel sorry for Samuel. It's obvious that his parents failed him horribly.
As a woman who was assaulted by someone off Tinder, you can NEVER exercise enough caution using these apps. Meet in public, and if they have a problem with it, they’re probably not someone you want to be with in private.
Looks like there's an error. The section dedicated to Blaze is actually titled "Remembering Sam".
