***** did you choose Zatchels over Leather Satchel company? If so why? I've heard lots about the two companies but seems satchel co have more Histon? Anyway definitely want one, thanks OP die recording the video. Would love your comments on what made you go for this particular company too.
Sophie Gist, initially, I went for Zatchels UK because they were more responsive on their social media and they had a sale on!!
I have a couple of Leather Satchel products because they were "goody bag" gifts from the Cybher™ conferences and they are the same company that make (some of) the leather binders for Filofax (and yes they are the older of the two companies).
I would say the quality is on a par with each other so it really is personal preference, i.e. colour, style, price.

They are both UK-based companies and ethical so it really is your own preference. Let me know what you go for. And ***** really does show how much you can get in them. My denim satchel is 13.5" (I think) and I never filled it.
***** great vid ta, how come you sent the brown one back, the effect or just didn't like the colour as much in day to day use? How are they wearing in?
I sent it back because it didn't fit my laptop in (I'd measured it wrong) and they didn't have the next size up in that style.
They are all wearing in great - the denim one was being used as my every-day bag but I've switched it out for something else for the time being (just fancied a change) and the green one is my "work bag" and is really robust.

It only weighs a little bit more than the smaller ones but I do sometimes pack it full and end up lopsided. Depends what's in it. I still love it.
I Iove that your satchel is from the Leather Satchel Company....my favorite. The color you chose is so pretty, that was always a tough decision for me to make. I like your idea if carrying a foldable tote bag.

I just ordered this satchel and added an extra inch to the gusset size thanks to your video...I think the 2 inch standard gusset is just a little too narrow. I got it in this same colour too. I'm planning on using mine as a purse for my trip to the US this summer though I will also have a small carry on for bulkier things....I think this will work well for my passport wallet and other basic essentials. Just got an email a couple days ago to let me know that my satchel is on its way! So excited to receive it!

I'm a fairly new subbie, but I can't stop watching your videos! And this one inspired me.....I just ordered a 14" satchel from ASOS (quite a price difference from the company site) in cloud cream. I really would love to have this sugared lime colour and black, so they're now both on my wish list (and 'to save for') lists! Are you still loving this one?
