    This video is amazing, i would be very curious about when u give more roll and when more yaw, and i would be really curious to fly with you in your tracks, they are amazing, u r lucky to have all that space and creativity

      Yes, that's really true! I was very lucky to have a place like that to fly. And I am very grateful for that.

    Lateley I've been watching a lot of CiottiFPV streams. He is crazy about whoops and tests a whole bunch of stuff.
    Ciotti is on a 2S 75mm hype right now. They are 4g heavier and have crazy power.
    My 75mm rcinpower 0802 25000kv on 1S is already on the limit of what power I can still handle inside.
    It makes no sense unless outside. Same goes for the 2S meteor85 build. Defenitly not for flying in your lounge. Maybe in a bigger industrial office mall building

      Currently is of course a good time for 75mm 2S because of the Tinywhoop 300mah 75C foldet cell lipos with BT3.0 plug. However, 4g more weight is a lot. In racing, 75mm 2S has no chance against 1S. From that point of view, I completely understand you and can support your statement that 2S indoor makes no sense. Just because of the lower durability alone. And the same thing with 85mm 2S. Just like you wrote. The track has to be very big for 85mm 2S to really make sense. And if the track is that big then you can fly larger drones or 85mm 3S.

    • @chrisbee5481
      @chrisbee5481 17 днів тому

      @butterflyfpv why do you say 2S has no chance against 1S on a tight indoor race track?
      I don't race any tracks and track my times, so I don't know like you.
      From my experience 2S has higher top speeds and probably acceleration too. But might be like you say that 2S has problems turning tight corners because of the higher weight momentum.

      @@chrisbee5481 That's exactly how it is. The tracks must have very few turns or be very large for the 85mm 2S to have a chance. And I mean really big. So you could almost fly with the 5inch. I can't explain to you why exactly it is like that. But in the micro aerodynamics area in which our 1S whoops are located, it seems that in racing the weight plays an even bigger role than with larger drones like 5 inches. But even there the lightest ones are the fastest. That's why all the top pilots in the world fly a super light frame that is not quite as durable as a slightly more stable frames, but flies the fastest. It even has overlapping propellers to make the frame even lighter! (I don't remember what the frame is called) So the weight seems to be even more important than the slight loss of efficiency of the overlapping propellers. Even on 5inch drones. That's why the modern 65mm whoops indoor will always be the fastest on most indoor tracks.

    I got my basssline down to 50g. 40 on 85mm 2s is nuts.

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  17 днів тому

      Yeees, 85mm 2S flies very well under 40g. But I like 1S much better for indoor and outdoor use in playgrounds and other small places. I am especially a big fan of the meteor 75 pro.

    What about the other way then.
    15g 1s whoop, with 260 batteries.
    I have "modified" the antenna on the mobula 2024, to make it more durable.
    And can recommend this modification after 50-100 crashes..
    Really wanted to try with the 260 batteries if i find any of those.
    As flight time is not a problem.
    4 minutes of hovering is more then i need.
    I chose durability over flight time if i can.
    Was thinking, is it possible to make new bushings on a SE0702 engine.
    As those i have now seem to have wear out..

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  18 днів тому

      So do you mean in terms of durability? 65mm whoops are quite durable when they are under 18g. The only problem is the elongated lipos which tend to get damaged at the front.
      It's better with the 270mah and 260mah Lipos because they are shorter. Yes, the bushings break down faster than the ball bearings. Replacing is not possible. At least I've never seen anyone replace them.

    • @andershoel78
      @andershoel78 18 днів тому

      @butterflyfpv Yes, in terms of durability.
      I still have not destroy a battery with a crash.
      But im also pressing them as far back as possible every time i change.
      And it looks like the front engines are working harder then the rear.
      To judge of the wear in bushings.
      I will take a look at the possibility to change bushings when the time comes.
      Of course the producers would like you to buy a new engine instead of a new bearing or bushing.

      @@andershoel78 Yes, that's true. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the bushings available for sale anywhere. But maybe they are bushings with standard dimensions? Maybe you can buy them from a bearing manufacturer..

    I need an advise, I have big trouble when turning around gates, the yaw, roll mix is very difficult, and i manage to succeed only when flying turtle slow, like very very slow, but if i fly fast or at least I try, i do too wide turns or too narrow and i hit the obstacle, how to get good turn?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

    • @butterflyfpv
      @butterflyfpv  3 дні тому +1

      Nice to hear that you're practicing. I understand. This step is actually very difficult. Repetitive exercises are the solution here. And experiment with pre turns or letting the tail swing out. Difficult to describe here. But in any case you will learn if you do simple exercises very repetitively like I show in my first how to fly fpv video. You have to practice until your brain gets bored. You have to go through this boredom. Then your brain comes up with new ideas and finds the ideal way. And this ideal path then needs to be memorized with hundreds of repetitions. If you want, you can also upload a video of your exercise sessions to your UA-cam channel and send me the link. Then I can better assess what tips could help you.
