  • On June 1st, 2024, we set out for Essex, Connecticut to film New Haven 3025, which is a Mikado type 2-8-2 steam locomotive, pulling their regular excursion from Essex to North Chester. This weekend was the first weekend of the month, which on these select weekends they add a caboose to the back of the train, which is the FVRR Pennsy caboose. It was a colorful and beautiful first day of June, and enjoy!

You know this is actually a Chinese SY class steam engine that was built in 1990.

What if the Valley Railroad can do future caboose hop charter excursions one day?
