- On June 1st, 2024, we set out for Essex, Connecticut to film New Haven 3025, which is a Mikado type 2-8-2 steam locomotive, pulling their regular excursion from Essex to North Chester. This weekend was the first weekend of the month, which on these select weekends they add a caboose to the back of the train, which is the FVRR Pennsy caboose. It was a colorful and beautiful first day of June, and enjoy!
Gotta catch this some day... Great catches man! Awesome to see these steamies still in use
Great video, well done!
nice!
This bell sounds familiar
You know this is actually a Chinese SY class steam engine that was built in 1990.
What if the Valley Railroad can do future caboose hop charter excursions one day?
